  • CSS Centering Issue - Div Centering appx 15px too far to the right

    I have a theme that I'm modifying for my site. I currently have it live on my test domain while I tinker with it before launch. http://www.networkgenius.org The #content-wrap div is centering, but too far to the right for some reason. I've absolutely no idea why it's doing this, especially since everything else is centering properly. What is the problem? I did add a 15px padding to the content-wrap area as I've changed the body's background color to the grey that you see and obviously didn't want the text pressed right up against the edges of the wrapper.   • PHP mkdir issue!

    Hi, I trying to create some dirs like this: @mkdir("photos/$cat/$sku", 0777, true) it creates the first directory with 0777 permissions, but when it creates the second is uses 000 as it's perms, so it fails to create the third. A workaround this please? Thanks, Richard.

  • Flex/PHP/XML data issue

    I have built a simple application in Flex. When the application loads, a GET request is made to the xmlService.php file with parameters "fetchData=letters". This tells the PHP to return the XML code. In Flex Debug I can see the XML data being sent by the PHP to the flex client. What I need it to do is populate the first drop down box (id="letter") with this data, however nothing is being received by Flex. I added an Alert.show() to check what was being returned but when the application runs, the alert is blank. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.     I am having a heck of a time returning an ArrayList of objects that implement IsSerializable via RPC. The IsSerializable pojo contains one variable, a String, and has a 0 parameter constructor. I have removed the .gwt.rpc file from my war and still I get: com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.SerializationException: Type 'com.test.myApp.client.model.Test' was not included in the set of types which can be serialized by this SerializationPolicy or its Class object could not be loaded. For security purposes, this type will not be serialized.: instance = com.test.myApp.client.model.Test@17a9692 at com.google.gwt.user.server.rpc.impl.ServerSerializationStreamWriter.serialize(ServerSerializationStreamWriter.java:610) I am using GWT 2.0.2 with jdk 1.6.0_18. Any ideas on what might be going on or what I am doing wrong? Here is the code for the Test class and the remote method is returning ArrayList.     I add some DropDownList dynamically to my form. It seems to work as it should when I use ...Controls.Add(dropdownlist), but in an attempt to turn them around and show them in reversed order I have tried to use ....Controls.AddAt(0, dropdownlist) However, this causes some strange behaviour. Before we dig in to the code, is there something I should know about dynamic adding, and more specific the AddAt()-method that usually causes trouble? Short description about what I do I start with a DropDownList (level1), when I choose something there, a new list should be added (level2) and so on. You can say you go your way down in a menu structure. Whenever you want you can change your choice at whatever level you want (of course not on later levels that you dont see yet). So lets say you are down to level 4 (You then have four boxes) and change your choice at level1, when the page reloads you are back to two boxes. http://forums.asp.net/p/885886/927411.aspx It seems that my problem was discussed here, but I didn´t see any solution about how I can acheive my intended behaviour.

  • c# HTTPListener encoding issue

    I have a Java application sending HTTP requests to a C# application. The C# app uses HTTPListener to listen for requests and respond. On the Java side I'm encoding the URL using UTF-8. When I send a \ character it gets encoded as %5C as expected but on the C# side it becomes a / character. The encoding for the request object is Windows-1252 which I think may be causing the problem. How do I set the default encoding to UTF-8? Currently I'm doing this to convert the encoding: foreach (string key in request.QueryString.Keys) { if (key != null) { byte[] sourceBytes =request.ContentEncoding.GetBytes(request.QueryString[key]); string value = Encoding.UTF8.GetString(sourceBytes)); } } This handles the non ASCII characters I'm also sending but doesn't fix the slash problem.     I'm replicating a small piece of Sugarscape agent simulation model in Python 3. I found the performance of my code is ~3 times slower than that of NetLogo. Is it likely the problem with my code, or can it be the inherent limitation of Python? Obviously, this is just a fragment of the code, but that's where Python spends two-thirds of the run-time.   • Cakephp ACL authentication issue - I'm locked out

    I've followed the CakePHP Cookbook ACL tutorial And as of right now I'm just trying to add users using the scaffolding method. I'm trying to go to /users/add but it always redirects me to the login screen even though I have added $this->Auth->allow('*'); in beforeFilter() temporarily to allow access to all pages. I've done this in both the UsersController and GroupsController as the tutorial asked. Below is my code for UsersController which I think will be the most relevant of all the files.   • actionscript textfield display issue

    I have a textfield inside a rectangle (Sprite). The text fits inside the rectangle just fine, however the actual size of the textfield is larger than that of the sprite. (invisible top margin in the font) The problem is when I added an eventlistener to the Sprite that detects mouse clicks, it fires even when I click outside of the rectangle. How can I fix this? (so that child object size does not exceed parent size)

  • Flash "visible" issue

    I'm writing a tool in Flex that lets me design composite sprites using layered bitmaps and then "bake" them into a low overhead single bitmapData. I've discovered a strange behavior I can't explain: toggling the "visible" property of my layers works twice for each layer (i.e., I can turn it off, then on again) and then never again for that layer-- the layer stays visible from that point on. If I override "set visible" on the layer as such: override public function set visible(value:Boolean):void { if(value == false) this.alpha = 0; else {this.alpha = 1;} } The problem goes away and I can toggle "visibility" as much as I want. Any ideas what might be causing this?   • Json HTTP Module stream issue

    Hey, I have an HTTP Module that I use to clean up the JSON returned by my web service (see http://www.codeproject.com/KB/webservices/ASPNET_JSONP.aspx?msg=3400287#xx3400287xx for an example of this.) Basically it relates to calling cross-domain JSON web services from javascript. There is this JsonHttpModule which uses a JsonResponseFilter Stream class to write out the JSON and the overloaded Write method is supposed to wrap the name of the callback function around the JSON, otherwise the JSON errors out as needing a label. However, if the JSON is really long, the Write method in the Stream class is called multiple times, causing the callback function to incorrectly get inserted midway through the JSON. Is there a way in the Stream class to wrap the callback function around the stream at the end or to specify that it write all of the JSON in 1 Write method instead of in chunks?? But what I thought, I should only have 4 args: headline, year, mileage and price. I am thinking that it is taking the comma's and what is before and after it as two seperate args. Is there any way that I can make cucumber think that there are only 4 args with the example below? I have looked at messing around with regex but I dont seem to be getting anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Issue with JSON and jQuery

    I'm calling a web service and returning the following data in JSON format: ["OrderNumber":"12345","CustomerId":"555"] In my web service success method, I'm trying to parse both: $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "MyService.asmx/ServiceName", data: "{}", contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", dataType: "json", success: function(msg) { var data = msg.d; var rtn = ""; $.each(data, function(list) { rtn = rtn + this.OrderNumber + ", " + this.CustomerId + "<br/>"; } rtn = rtn + "<br/>" + data; $("#test").html(rtn); } }); but I'm getting a bunch of "undefined, undefined" rows followed by the correct JSON string. Any idea why? I've tried using the eval() method but that didn't help as I got some error message talking about ']' being expected.

  • CSS buttons and crossbrowser issue

    I have a class 'button' that I want to use for button, input and a tags. The problem is that both button and input tags have a greater line height than the anchor tag does. I've worked around it, but it would be cleaner if they could just access StackSize like a normal class. Second: The compiler complains that it doesn't use or can't deduce T. Really? Thirdly: The compiler complains that it can't specialize a template in the current scope (class scope). I can't see what the problem is. Have I accidentally invoked some bad syntax?
