  Hello, I have TextBlock that has Inlines dynamicly added to it (basically bunch of Run objects that are either italic or bold). In my application I have search function. I want to be able to highlight TextBlock's text that is in being searched for. By highlighting I mean changing certain parts of TextBlock text's color (keeping in mind that it may highlight several different Run objects at a time). I have tried this example http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/tamir/archive/2008/05/12/search-and-highlight-any-text-on-wpf-rendered-page.aspx But it seams very unstable :( Is there easy way to solve this problem?

  Hi, i'm trying to setup 301 redirects on a rackspace account- this is what I want to happen: www.test1.com/sub/index.asp - www.test2.com/index.asp test1.com is a new PHP version of an old ASP site (a subsection of which is now at test2.com), so any previous asp page links to the test1.com/sub/ need to go to the same page name at test2.co.nz. I've got folder redirects working fine using .htaccess, ie in test1.com/sub/ RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.test2.com/$1 [R=301,L] but anything with .asp doesn't redirect, but is trying to be handled by the server. I've also tried a web.config in test1.com/sub/ ie: <configuration<system.web <urlMappings enabled="true" <add url="index.asp" mappedUrl="http://test2.com.com/index.asp"/ <urlMappings </system.web </configuration this gives a 500 internal server error Any ideas?

I know that I can open a PDF and insert "input fields" within Adobe Acrobat Pro, which it would be great if I could use PHP to connect to those input fields and insert a value from a PHP Form.   Hello, I have to design a data structure that is to be used in a multi-threaded environment. The basic API is simple: insert element, remove element, retrieve element, check that element exists. The structure's implementation uses implicit locking to guarantee the atomicity of a single API call. After i implemented this it became apparent, that what i really need is atomicity across several API calls. For example if a caller needs to check the existence of an element before trying to insert it he can't do that atomically even if each single API call is atomic: if(!data_structure.exists(element)) { data_structure.insert(element); } The example is somewhat awkward, but the basic point is that we can't trust the result of exists call anymore after we return from atomic context (the generated assembly clearly shows a minor chance of context switch between the two calls). What i currently have in mind to solve this is exposing the lock through the data structure's public API. This way clients will have to explicitly lock things, but at least they won't have to create their own locks. Is there a better commonly-known solution to these kinds of problems? And as long as we're at it, can you advise some good literature on thread-safe design? Thank you.

• C#/.NET: Process.HasExited returns true even though process is running??

  I have been observing that Process.HasExited sometimes returns true even though the process is still running. My code below starts a process with name "testprogram.exe" and then waits for it to exit. The problem is that sometimes I get thrown the exception; it seems that even though HasExited returns TRUE the process itself is still alive in the system - how can this be?? My program writes to a logfile just before it terminates and thus I need to be absolutely sure that this logfile exists (aka the process has terminated/finished) before reading it. • Usinng svnadmin dump to revert the latest revision committed

  What I need is that the latest (mistake) revision being reverted and that the repository does not store it in anyway. That is, I'm trying to erase the latest revision out of existence, NOT trying to fix things by coming back to the latest-1 revision. In other words, I want to avoid the repository growing in size. Suppose head revision is 100. I knew that the suggested answer is that svnadmin dump -r0:80 old-repo | svnadmin load --force-uuid new-repo. What I'm confusing myself about is why not svnadmin dump -r81:100 old-repo Why the first and not the second solution? I suppose svnadmin dump will erase the repository completely? And keeping only revision 0 - 80 in a dump file? Is my understanding of "taking a part out of the repository into a dump file" about svnadmin dump completely wrong? (That is revision 81 - 100 is still there) Sincere apologies if this has been asked. I did spend some time searching though no specific things about this were found. Basically I have defined Parameters!RP_cll_typ_l1 as multivalued into my subreport as per ssrs multivalued parameter passing method. The value is going on sub report as '1,2,3,4' (not understandable by data set) It should be like as '1’,’2’,’3’,’4' or 1,2,3,4 How can I resolve this please help if any have solution?   Any help is appreciated: I'm developing a C#.Net app in VS2010 that interacts with Excel. The app works correctly on my local machine. Uploading to a remote Windows 2003 server however, breaks the app. Originally, I received the following message Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80070005 After Googling the problem (which suggested a permissions problem) i tried this: Installing Excel 2007 Going into Component Services on the remote server and following the instructions here: http://blog.crowe.co.nz/archive/2006/03/02/589.aspx Now I get this message on the same operation: Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A03EC Google searches seem to be suggesting that this is a version match error. • Efficient 4x4 matrix inverse (affine transform)

  Hi, I was hoping someone can point out an efficient formula for 4x4 affine matrix transform. Currently my code uses cofactor expansion and it allocates a temporary array for each cofactor. It's easy to read, but it's slower than it should be. Note, this isn't homework and I know how to work it out manually using 4x4 co-factor expansion, it's just a pain and not really an interesting problem for me. Also I've googled and came up with a few sites that give you the formula already (http://www.euclideanspace.com/maths/algebra/matrix/functions/inverse/fourD/index.htm). However this one could probably be optimized further by pre-computing some of the products. I'm sure someone came up with the "best" formula for this at one point or another? Thanks.

Basically Google music displays links to song and when clicked it opens flash based player. Using my application i am collecting music links into a list box, when an song is clicked it opens the link in a separate webbrowser and it starts playing. As of now to achieve playlist functionality i also collect the time for each song and based on that i create a timer, once the time is over it switches to other song. My Question here is that, is it possible to detect when the flash player is done playing music. Currently the timer functionality that i have built is not reliable.
