• Accessing my Rails webrick behind proxy?

  I am looking for a reasonable solution for network location switching after VPN connection is established for Windows 7. The scenario is as follows: For location public (employee plugging in his laptop in hotel, public wi-fi,etc) all inbound connections are restricted, only outbound VPN + www is enabled. Employee then initiates a VPN connection, VPN pushes routes to 10.0.0.0/8 subnet Now I would like to have lax security rules for traffic from/to 10.0.0.0/8 that comes through the VPN interface, while still protecting the laptop from traffic that comes via uplink interface as if it was private. How to achieve this switching and duality? One option I see is switching to IPSec...

• Changing administrator for hosted Exchange account

  We are using a hosted MS Exchange provider, and they claim that our account can only have one administrator. They also claim that they cannot change which login is granted administrator privileges. This means that the user account that was initially created five years ago is the only account that can change our billing information, among other things. The employee associated with the current admin account is no longer with the company, so we'd like to move the admin privileges to a new "sysadmin" account, and delete this employee's account. Shouldn't this be really easy to do? Is my hosted exchange provider telling the truth?

• How can I restrict SSH access when the source IP is dynamic

  Hi I want to protect SSH access to our live web server from all IP's except our office static IP. There are some employees who connects to this live server from their dynamic IP's. So, it is not always possible for me to change in the iptables rule in live server whenever the dynamic IP of the employee changes. I tried to put them in office VPN and allowed only SSH access from office IP but the office connection is slow in compared to our employee's private internet connection, moreover it adds an extra overhead to our office network. Is there any way I can solve this problem ?

And Contains messages that match any of the following conditions: Message is Unread Message is not in Mailbox News (AT) lovejungle.com Message is not in Mailbox Info (AT) lovejungle.com For some reasons, it is still displaying messages in either News@ or Info@.   I've read the "answers" on this question, which is pretty much what I'm asking, but no one actually provides an answer. Nowhere in the Developer Tools (that I can see, anyway) is there a clear indicator of the current page's referring page. This is something that's really easy to find in Firefox; just right-click and choose Page Info. Where is this functionality in Chrome? If it's in the developer tools, which tab is it under? If it's not, is there an extension I can use to get this info? I've tried the Web Developer extension, and can't seem to find this very basic piece of info there, either.

• How can I disable logging in Tomcat 7?

  I have a Tomcat 7 server running in a VM that has very little disk space (20G). Over the course of a few days Tomcat will fill the space with logging info (usually about 15G before it runs out). I've tried turning down the log level (from INFO to SEVERE) in the logging.properties file, I've also tried sending the log info to /dev/null. It doesn't seem to work as I still get a full log directory after no time at all. Can I put a file size limit on the log files? Is something overriding the properties I'm setting? Where can I find this information? My Google Fu just returns information about logging from within an application using JULI.

  Please help. Every time I turn on computer I receive a different BSOD. I can't even give my computer info because I haven't been able to stay on it long enough. The following are the BSOD that I just received in the last hour. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA BAD_POOL_HEADER MEMORY_MANAGEMENT I has also started with Windows Error Recovey which I have done but that has froze on me or hasn't helped. I have also reset computer to its original state. Now as soon as I turn on it goes to a BSOD almost immediately. I know you need more info about computer, so if you can tell me what info it is you need, I will get it. I can tell you that it is a desktop.

In Gmail, I've added the [email protected] account so I can send and receive mail from it. Problem: The "from" field on all the e-mails this address sends always says "info". I want it to say "Domain.com" so recipients can know where it's coming from. How do I change this? I've looked in gmail but can't seem to spot a setting that controls this.

  I have a very basic question regarding to Puppet 3.0.1 configuration. I setup a puppet master server (CentOS) with 2 agents (CentOS and Windows 7), all 3 can ping and access each other. There is no error at all.   Hi everyone Im looking for an app pr line of code that could let me observe a process, save the info in a number of variable and then put the gathered info on a file. Ive been trying with variations of top but no luck. I am running several CentOS virtual servers, VM is 2gb ram 2 processor. Maybe a script that works over a specified amount of time while writing lines with the info on a text file so at the end i can have a sort of table with the data. The thing is Im going to stress test the server and I would like to have the data to make some statistics. Any comments and suggestions are most welcome.

  Where is the php.ini file in Ubuntu hardy? The file found in path called /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini.ucf-dist. Do I need to rename file 'php.ini.ucf-dist' to 'php.ini'? Where is the system currently reading the php information when I run info.php file? I tried to compare one item what gets displayed when I run info.php file and when I edit the 'php.ini.ucf-dist' file. The 'memory_limit' shows 128M when I run info.php file but in the 'php.ini.ucf-dist' file it is set to 16M. So this cant be the same file being read by the system currently? Thanks for help.

  In postfix, I'd like a way to deal with e-mail accounts that are no longer active by having postfix send the standard "Recipient address rejected" type message, but still forwarding the e-mail to another user. Thus, if someone sends an e-mail to employee[email protected], it will bounce the message back to the sender for future reference, but the mail will still get forwarded to [email protected] to deal with. .vacation and / or .forward files let me down because they will either reply or forward, but not both. Any tips?

  I work for a company in which an ex-employee had administrative access to Microsoft Exchange 2007, and I understand that at some points this person had email which was sent to other employees also forwarded on to him. Upon taking over the administration of the server, of course all of his known accounts were closed, and any of those forwarding rules were removed. However, I would like to ensure that we didn't miss anything. What would be the best way to ensure that: (1) There isn't still some sort-of email being forwarded on to him somewhere? (2) That he doesn't have some sort-of other access to an inbox or another employee's email? I am less concerned about access to the box itself as I am that there is an existing email rule somewhere that is still getting run, or that there is a distribution list that we missed, etc.

How should I choose between which TLD would be a good candidate for being the root server for my NS name? More Info I am switching over 800 DNS zones to an outsourced DNS provider. I originally planned on setting the zone names to nsX.company.com, but think it would be best to have multiple TLDs such as .net , .org and .info Since I plan on supporting DNSSec at company.com I think all the 1st tier Name servers must support it as well. Part of the inspiration for this question came from our provider UltraDNS.   So I have a info.php page which is located on the folder /var/www/nginx-default, however when I go to my ip address/info.php, it always redirects me to this site: http://www.iana.org/domains/example/ is this because I have a virtual host that I called example?   In my windows 7 home premium, several of my application crashes after some minutes even wehn I am not touching system. For example I have outlook 2007, that works fine, but suddenly crashes. The same about visual studio 2012. It is also crashes after some minute no matter if I am working on a project or I am not touching it. the same behaviour is there, for other applications (skype, oovoo and ...). I use Microsoft security essential and there is no virus on my system. I also checked my system with Sophos anti root kit and there is no root kit there. What would be the problem?

When employees are selected and the active step is changed, the Wizard1_ActiveStepChanged function is called and it dynamically creates a DropDownList Array for each employee that is selected. Each DropDownList specifies a condition of the employee. The DropDownList is created properly. When the user clicks submit, the DropDownList array is deleted and no selected values can be pulled from the array. I understand this is an issue with the PostBack and can be fixed with ViewState, but I am trying to figure out what I can do to fix it. ViewState is enabled for the checkboxlist and the DropDownList. I've tried changing buttons to images, playing with the AutoPostBack feature. I'm lost on how to get my dropdownlist array saved to the ViewState and accessing it after the postback.

If i build the code on my local machine then copy over the complete \bin directory it works. If I pull the code from source safe, build then copy, I get this error.
