  • ExtJS: Add Single Click Action To A Node In A TreePanel

    - by FluidFoundation
[revised] I'm creating a TreePanel in ExtJs that is loading its children from a JSON file. I'm having trouble adding a click action to the nodes. I'm not sure whether it's added in the script creating the tree, or if its added as a property in the JSON, and if so, what the syntax would be. Any help would be appreciated! Please provide an example if possible.

  • What folders are commonly used by version control systems?

    - by a_m0d
I need to know what folder names are commonly used by Version Control systems. Many VCSs will create a hidden folder, usually in the top level of the source tree, to store the information that they use. So far, I only know that Git uses .git/ and SVN uses .svn/. What are the folder names that other popular VCSs use?

Are there any good tutorials out there to develop a selectable TreeView in Visual Studios? What I am searching for is for something that would display my drives in a tree view and have a checkbox next to each drive, folder and file. This will be used in a replication program. Thanks a million.

  • Best JSF framework/library for "conversation state"

    - by stacked
What do people think is the best JSF framework or library for a saving state longer than request scope (but w/o using session scope) that is backbutton/new window safe -- i.e. you have a "wizard"/multi-page form. For example, MyFaces has the 'SaveState' tag (http://bit.ly/8QHmX5) that allows you to maintain state across pages by saving state in the view's component tree. Any comments on SaveState (pros/cons) or suggestions for any better framework or library for this capability?

  • descending heap sort

    - by user1
use heap sort to sort this in descending order and show the steps or explanation please below is the tree 79 33 57 8 25 48 below is the array 79 - 33 - 57 - 8 - 25 - 48 ok ascending is easy because the largest element is at the top we can exchange the last element and the first element and then use heapify as the sample code in wikipedia describes it.

  • Using many mutex locks

    - by hanno
I have a large tree structure on which several threads are working at the same time. Ideally, I would like to have an individual mutex lock for each cell. I looked at the definition of pthread_mutex_t in bits/pthreadtypes.h and it is fairly short, so the memory usage should not be an issue in my case. However, is there any performance penalty when using many (let's say a few thousand) different pthread_mutex_ts for only 8 threads?

  • C#: Deal with xml, treeview datagridview and datatables

    - by renulren
Hi all, I am working on a project that pulls data out of an xml files and also uses a tree-grid combination in order to display the data. For example depending on the selected treeview node, the datagridview will display only the records related to that node. What do you think it would be the appropriate approach in dealing with this? Thanks!

Thanks

  • Hi, i want to implement a small routing table for my learning? I know it is implemented using radix/

    - by aks
Hi, i want to implement a small routing table for my learning? I know it is implemented using radix/patricia tree in routers? Can someone give me an idea on how to go about implementing the same? The major issue i feel is storing IP ADDRESS. For example : 10.1.1.0 network next hop 20.1.1.1 10.1.0.0 network next hop 40.1.1.1 Can someone give me a declaration of the struct from which i can have an idea?

  • a design to avoid circular reference in this scenario

    - by BDotA
Here is our dependency tree: BigApp - Child Apps - Libraries ALL of our components are HEAVILY using one of the Libraries as above ( LibA). But it has a ‘few’ public methods that require classes from ‘higher-level’ assemblies and we want to avoid CIRCULAR references. What do you propose as a good design for this?

  • svn: default name for a tag when name is not important?

    - by Jason S
I need to tag the current state of my source tree in svn. My problem is I don't care what the name is, I just need to mark the current revision in an immutable* manner. (*subject to malicious behavior) What's the best way to do this? branches/ tags/ ??? trunk/ should ??? be the date, an incrementing sequence, the repository rev # ...?

  • Are there IDEs in which the code-completion widget is not a linear list?

    - by Uri
Most mainstream IDEs use code-completion in the form of a linear list of suggestions (typically methods). Are there any IDEs (mainstream or not) or IDE plugins that use a non-linear widget, such as a tree? (e.g., pick category first, then the actual recommendation)? I'm working on an IDE feature and want to make sure I'm not reinventing the wheel or infringing some patent.

  • Including some static html files?

    - by user246114
Hi, Where can we place static html files in our war file? For example, a default project has this: war/projectname.html I'd like to just make a few static folders with static pages that are like: war/projectname.html war/signup/index.html war/about/index.html so that my users can just hit those static pages like: www.myproject.com/signup www.myproject.com/about where would I put folders like that in our project tree? I tried putting them under war/, just beside projectname.html (like above), but they don't seem to be available there, I just get a 404 error, Thanks

  • Jump to 'git add -i' patch command (5) directly

    - by felixge
How can I get "git add -i" to start up in patch mode directly without having to type "5" + Enter? I know about "git add -p", but it's not the same as it doesn't show me a list of files to select from first. This is very annoying because I'd like to jump between "git add -i" and "git commit" very quickly to turn my dirty tree into some nice looking commits.
