Especially, animation, graphics are needed.. 2) By the way, I'm now learning Adobe Air for Android ... Is it useful? I mean Adobe Air do not need to know programming knowledge..but it's simple.. • How do I focus an "urgent" application?

  Sometimes applications will wiggle in the launcher and have a blue triangle. (See compiz config settings for Unity.) How can I set a keyboard command to bring that application to the front in Ubuntu 11.10? I had it set in 11.04, but I don't remember how. This is useful when programs open in the background or if you activate them from another app. (I have an alias to send files to a single gvim instance from Terminal instead of opening them in their own window. When gvim gets the file, it wiggles but doesn't gain focus.)

  The number of URLs on my website is constantly growing (by 10-50 per week or so). Should I Regularly submit an updated sitemap including all URLs. Have a sitemap of only the static content of my website. Have some tool which automatically creates sitemaps on any changes. As for 3) is googlesitemapgenerator useful in this respect? I am a bit anxious allowing a beta product mess with my apache. Is anybody using it or has another recommendation of similar tools?

• Recommended Books for OpenGL [closed]

  I'm fairly new to OpenGL and I'm have been researching any books that would be beneficial, I've had suggested to me (I've finished reading the OpenGL Book online): Real Time Rendering GPU Gems 3 OpenGL Super Bible Does anyone know any other books that they've found useful in the past, even if it covers higher level algorithms. Also, can anyone suggest an IDE/Text Editor for Linux? I'm using Komodo and it's super buggy, I just booted into Windows today and tried Visual Studio and loved it, is their anything similar for Linux? Although, the books I've been reading are saying to not use IDEs, partly because of the reliance you place onto them, per se. I use Eclipse a lot for my Java programming, can I use C and OpenGL with that? Lastly, do you think it would be more beneficial staying on Windows and programming in C/OpenGL on their, I do like Linux, but I found Visual Studio to be pretty good in some aspects?

• How easy is it to change languages/frameworks professionally? [closed]

  Forgive me for asking a career related question - I know that they can be frowned upon here, but I think that this one is general enough to be useful to many people. My question is: How easy/difficult is it to get a job using language/frameowork B, when your current job uses language/framework A? e.g. If you use C#/ASP.NET in your current job, how difficult would it be to get a job using python/django, or PHP/Zend, or whatever (the specifics of the example don't matter). Relatedly, if you work in client side scripting, but perhaps work on server-side projects in your own time, how difficult would it be to switch to server-side professionally? So, to sum up, does the choice of which languages/frameworks use at work tend to box you in professionally?

• Get Local IP-Address using Boost.Asio

  Hey, I'm currently searching for a portable way of getting the local IP-addresses. Because I'm using Boost anyway I thought it would be a good idea to use Boost.Asio for this task. There are serveral examples on the net which should do the trick. Examples: Official Boost.Asio Documentation Some Asian Page I tried both codes with just slight modifications. The Code on Boost.Doc was changed to not resolve "www.boost.org" but "localhost" or my hostname instead. For getting the hostname I used boost::asio::ip::host_name() or typed it directly as a string. Additionally I wrote my own code which was a merge of the above examples and my (little) knowledge I gathered from the Boost Documentation and other examples. All the sources worked, but they did just return the following IP: 127.0.1.1 (Thats not a typo, its .1.1 at the end) I run and compiled the code on Ubuntu 9.10 with GCC 4.4.1 A colleague tried the same code on his machine and got 127.0.0.2 (Not a typo too...) He compiled and run on Suse 11.0 with GCC 4.4.1 (I'm not 100% sure) I don't know if it is possible to change the localhost (127.0.0.1), but I know that neither me or my colleague did it. ifconfig says loopback uses 127.0.0.1. ifconfig also finds the public IP I am searching for (141.200.182.30 in my case, subnet is 255.255.0.0) So is this a Linux-issue and the code is not as portable as I thought? Do I have to change something else or is Boost.Asio not working as a solution for my problem at all? I know there are much questions about similar topics on Stackoverflow and other pages, but I cannot find information which is useful in my case. If you got useful links, it would be nice if you could point me to it. • IPhone/Objective-c RSA encryption

  Hello, I have been google-ing and researching for an answer on how to do a simple RSA encryption using objective-c on an iphone. The main problem i have is that i have been supplied the Exponent and Modulus as an NSData object and i need to then convert them to a SecKeyRef object in order to perform the RSA encryption.   When using an HttpConnection in a BlackBerry app, you often get HTTP cookies in the response headers. Unfortunately there are no built-in APIs to assist with the parsing of the cookie headers. Has anyone found a third-party library to assist with the parsing of the cookie header(s) into a more useful data object? Creating some custom code that just parses out the name and value of the cookie isn't too difficult, but I'd like to also consider other fields within the cookie such as the expiration and domain fields.
