    Hi all, I tried this script to copy release folder of one of my Xcode projects to desktop: tell application "Finder" set targetFolder to folder "release" of folder "build" of folder "8_15pm" of folder "26th_March" of folder "XYZ" of startup disk set destinationFolder to folder "Desktop" of folder "miraaj" of folder "Users" of startup disk copy targetFolder to destinationFolder end tell I was expecting that I will obtain a folder named as release on my desktop but I did not get any :( Can anyone suggest me where I am wrong or some better way to do this??   • Restore Emacs Session/Desktop

    I've been searching for how to restore an emacs session, with no luck. I'm looking to restore all previously open buffers, some of which might contain erc, shells, directory listings, files, etc. Every time I open emacs, I spend a considerable amount of time arranging my buffers; splitting them into rows and columns, opening a shell, arranging irc channels. It takes a while to get onto work. I've tried adding the following to my init.el (desktop-save-mode 1) And then using M-x desktop-save. This only seems to restore files that are open, not shells or anything else running within buffers. I've also checked the following questions (sorry, not able to post links yet): Session management in emacs using Desktop library Emacs session / projects / window management Emacs: reopen buffers from last session on startup? And read through: DeskTop and EmacsSession at emacswiki.org/emacs/SessionManagement Here's a screenshot example of my emacs session. A simple answer would be to just focus on real work :P

To be more precise - I have some java code and then at some point I need to execute a long running operation.     Hi all, I'm loading an external video stream in my embedded player. Since it takes a little while to connect and preload you see a black background for +- 7 secs untill video plays . I would like to know if its possible to have a background image saying 'Stand by loading video' with my logo on it before the video starts to play. Only thing i could find was bgcolor parameter but that's not what I want. I hope someone can help me thanks!!

    Dear SO family, I have created an iframe which contains the label, "powered by MyWebsite.site" The "iframe itself" accepts arguments, so other webmasters may customize the appearance of it. The problem is that since the background of the iframe could be customized, anyone can "vanish" the "powered by MyWebsite.site". So what option do i have? How should i dynamically change the label color depending on any background?

    I am setting GtkEventBox with an Transparent image from gtkrc file using pixmpa engine. but issue is that in transparent are of the png image gtk is filling default window back ground color. I wan to tell gtk to fill it's parents base/bg/fg color in transparent are of the background image other than default background color. how to do it using gtkrc file or coding? Thanks, PP.

I'm making the application backgrounded by setting "Application is background only" in the Info.plist But no matter what I do I can't make any window the keyWindow. makeKeyWindow makeKeyAndOrderFront Both don't work...   • Best way to display a background with a pattern in an iPhone/iPad app

    Here's an example of the type of background image I'm talking about... Clearly, there's a pattern in it. My question is, if this were an iPad app and the background image was twice the size, would there be any significant benefits to taking advantage of this pattern by tiling the image? Or would it really make no difference in terms of performance and just be easier to load the entire image into a UIImageView? Thanks in advance for all your wisdom!
