    I need to store a password has in a SQL server 2000 database. The information isn't critical but I really don't want to store the password in clear text. How can I get a unique hash (sha, sha1, md5, etc) in SQL server 2000 as HashBytes isn't available. I'm not looking for compiled DLL or the ilk, I dont have access to the server, needs to be pure MS SQL.

    Hi, I have custom control which i am rendering inside dailouge box. this custom control has a link lable lnkLable. I want to close the opened window when i click on lnkLable. right now i am finding the parent of my conrol which will be dialouge control in the end and then calling the dispose method of that, which i dont feel very good technique to do this.     Hi, I have a problem with a list in srss 2005. The list is grouping too much information and I dont know how to un-group it. I made a picture to show it.   • find words in a hashset or treeset?

    I am piping in a file and storing it into a treeset. I am trying to count unique words.. I am placing words that i dont want into a hashset. "a","the", "and" I want to check to see if the file contains those words, before i place them into the TreeSet.. i know i need some sort of if(word == find) ? i just dont know how to do it..     i have been sent a directory tree of source code that i want to import into my subversion repository. The issue is that at some point this code was in a different subversion repository. There are a huge number of directories and subdirectories and i basically want to clean up all of the subversion .svn folders before i attempt to import to a new repository and i dont want svn to get confused. is there anyway to clean out a directory structure to remove all svn references?
