  I'm trying to execute a SELECT statement that includes a column of a static string value. I've done this in Access, but never with raw SQL. Is this possible? Example: Name Status John Unpaid Terry Unpaid Joe Unpaid In the above example, the "Status" column doesn't exist in the database.

  I need some classes for playing short wav sounds, this classes would load this wav files into memory when an instance created, play sounds in background when needed, release this wav files from memory when an instance disposed. How can I do this on C# for windows (.Net 2.0)? (Win API's sndPlaySound, OpenAL or may be any wrapper) Ideally I would love to find an exist solution that simple and able to solve my task.   One of my web services returns the list of ids of the the projects a person is owner of. That is, when I GET http://example.com/wsListProjects?user=eric I get back xml with the list of projects. However, when I specify user=xxx, who doesn't exist, I currently return a 404 response? Is this the correct response to return? Thanks.

I have checked that csc.exe is also exist in the .net frame work folder. When i change compiler version 3.5 to 2.0 it starts working but My 3.5 Features are not available there like LINQ. I have try everything, Update .Net Framework, Install latest service Pack. Please help me out this Problem.

  I've looked at log4jdbc (which does not support datasources), p6spy which seems to be what I am looking for but it has not been updated since 2003 which makes me nervous and lists only JBoss 3.x (we use JBoss 5), and JAMon which seems heavyweight for what I am trying to accomplish (a simple log of all SQL statements running through a JBoss application server). I was hoping that JBoss itself would have a switch to log all the sql (as Websphere does) but I cannot find any documentation for it so that functionality might not exist.

However, in a dynamic language, all objects can be used in a uniformed way as long as they define certain methods. Does interface exist in dynamic languages? It seems unnecessary to me.

• Why is there no way to resize SRFI-4 vectors in Scheme?

  I see that SRFI 4 does not mention resizing of vectors. I'm using f64vectors (for which I need fast access), and I'd like to be able to resize them quickly (similar to what realloc does in C), and not necessarily copy the whole vector. Since I didn't find any references to a "resize-f64vector" procedure, I'd like to know why it doesn't exist (and if making a new vector and copying over is my only option).

  Howdy, I followed these two tutorial to get Client Application services working using WCF instead of the traditional web services project: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb398990.aspx http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb546195.aspx But when configuring the winforms project services tab with the wcf services location, the generated code in app.config points to a "Authentication_JSON_AppService.axd" service uri that doesn't exist. How can I use Client Application Services using WCF as the "transport" and still use the services tab to configure the settings on the client windows application? Thanks

  I create a global hot key to show a window by PInvoking RegisterHotKey(). But to do this I need that window's HWND, which doesn't exist until the window is loaded, that means shown for the first time. But I don't want to show the window before I can set the hot key. Is there a way to create a HWND for that window that is invisible to the user?

The simplest solution to this I can think of would be to use a tool to minify all static content so that (after encryption) only a small number of result sizes exist so as to minimize the information available to an eavesdropper.
