  I've just read the accepted excellent answer to this question that clarifies the conceptual differences between strong and weak pointers in Objective-C, and I'm still trying to understand the practical differences. I come from a C++ background where these concepts don't exist, and I'm having trouble figuring out where I would use one vs the other.   I'm currently building a LOB application in Silverlight 4. I've been considering the question of typography for the application. After some experimentation on the design side the font that people like is Segoe UI. Now I can embed this font and although the font is freely available in Windows we don’t have distribution rights for this font. I am looking for an open source font visually equivalent of the Segoe family that can be freely distributed. Does such a font exist?

  I know about the boolean column type, but is there a boolean literal in SQLite? In other languages, this might be true or false. Obviously, I can use 0 and 1, but I tend to avoid so-called "magic numbers" where possible. From this list, it seems like it might exist in other SQL implementations, but not SQLite. (I'm using SQLite 3.6.10, for what it's worth.)

It insists on using annotations, no-arg constructors, doesn't work with anonymous class instances, doesn't work with scala collections, has an outdated string-based query model, etc. I'm looking for something that really fits Scala.   I'd like to have my PHP script upload a file with a certain filename in a directory of my choosing. However, the catch is that I need it to exist there immediately upon upload so I can moniter it on my server. I don't want to use a PHP extension or something - this should be very easy to transfer to any PHP setup. So basically: Is there a way to guarantee that, from the very beginning of the file upload process, the file has a certain name and location on the server?

I'm not having trouble reading each file into a string (IO.read()), but I'm not finding any package that can generate a unified diff. Does one exist?
