• ASP.net: Radio Button Not Maintaining Selection After Postback, Inside DIV/Thickbox

The doPostback javascript function posts the button click back, and hits btnSubmit_Click where a report is then generated. If I see if a radio button is checked, it's always rbReportTypeCust.checked = True, never the rbReportTypeProg.checked = True even if I click it. Any suggestions?

  Django newbie here. I wrote simplified login form which takes email and password. It works great if both email and password are supplied, but if either is missing i get KeyError exception. According to django documentation this should never happen: By default, each Field class assumes the value is required, so if you pass an empty value -- either None or the empty string ("") -- then clean() will raise a ValidationError exception I tried to write my own validators for fields (clean_email and clean_password), but it doesn't work (ie I get KeyError exception). • PHP, what is the better choice for removing a known string?

  I am looking to search for and replace a known string from within another string. Should I use str_replace() or ereg_replace()? The string to be replaced would be something similar to [+qStr+], [+bqID+], or [+aID+] and it would be being searched for in a code chunk similar to this: <li> [+qStr+] <ol class="mcAlpha"> <li><input type="radio" name="[+bqID+]" id="[+bqID+]_[+aID+]" value="[+aID+]" /><label for="[+bqID+]_[+aID+]">[+aStr+]</label></li> </ol> </li> I would be replacing the strings with the results from a MySQL query, and be performing this action or similar up to 200 times at a time. Which function str_replace() or ereg_replace() would be the easiest and/or quickest method to take.

• jQuery UI split button toggle - toggle both parts of the button

  I would like to implement a toggle splitbutton with jQuery UI that would on toggle action change the style of the "dropdown" part as well (as seen in http://jsfiddle.net/8khz2/3/ - I'd like to appear it on 1st click as white, same as "Toggle" button does). Does anyone see a way to achieve that out of the box or only with CSS, without additional javascript code?   Hi I am not sure why I am having this problem, maybe I am using the check_box_tag incorrectly. I have a form that is used to send an email message. Is this just a difference in versions of Interface Builder? Where did it go?

• How do I layout a form in WPF using grid or other controls for maintainability

  I have a WPF form, I want to lay out a standard form onto it. Each form element will have a label, and then a control. Pretty standard stuff. If I use a wrap panel, it can cause the label and the control to be separated, but I want them to stay together. is there some WPF equivalent of nobr? Grid works, and allows for column spanning etc, however I really really hate that you specify the column and row on each control. This makes it extremely inconvenient to reorder or insert things into the list. Is there a way to get the grid to use more HTML style column/rows where the items are a child of the row they are in, so that I can re-order easily? Is there some other control that will let me layout a form easily?

  Although there are some similar questions I’m having difficulties finding an answer on how to receive data in my form from a class. I have been trying to read about instantiation and its actually one of the few things that does make sense to me :) but if I were to instantiate my form, would I not have two form objects? To simplify things, lets say I have a some data in Class1 and I would like to pass a string into a label on Form1. Is it legal to instantiate another form1? When trying to do so it looks like I can then access label1.Text but the label isn’t updating. The only thing I can think of is that the form needs to be redrawn or there is some threading issue that I’m unaware of. Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

• Rails, Edit page update in a window

  I have my code working so that I have a table of businesses. There's a pencil icon you can click on the edit the business information. The edit information comes up in a partial inside of a modal pop up box. The only problem is that once they make the changes they want and click update, it sends them to the 'show' page for that business. What I want to happen is have the pop up box close and have it update the information. • attaching a file path in a html form

  <form><label for="attachment">Attachment:</label> <input type="file" name="attachment" id="attachment"><input type="submit"></form> i want to attach the file path to a form. i am doing it using the following code. but i want that the pop up window should open to a specified path. say D:\newfolder, so that user need not go to D: and then newfolder to attach the file. is there any way i can set this predefined path. any help is really appreciated and also i am really sorry for formatting , i dont know how to format it.
