  • Dismiss android activity displayed as Popup

    - by Sit
    So i have a service, that starts an activity displayed as a Popup thank's to "android:style/Theme.Dialog" This Activity shows a Listview, with a list of application. On each element of the listview, there is a short description of the application, and two buttons. 1 for launching the application 2 for displaying a toast with more informations. Here is the code in my service : it starts the activity Intent intent = new Intent(this, PopUpActivity.class); intent.addFlags(Intent.FLAG_DEBUG_LOG_RESOLUTION); intent.addFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_NEW_TASK); getApplicationContext().startActivity(intent); this activity uses a custom layout, with a listview, adapted with a custom ArrayAdapter In this adaptater, i've put an action on the start button in order to start the current application Button lanceur = (Button) v.findViewById(R.id.Buttonlancer); lanceur.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() { public void onClick(View v) { p.start(mcontext); } }); with p.start, i start the application. But now, if i press "back" from the application, i go back to the popup... and i can start another application. I don't want it to be possible. That's why i wish i could dismiss/destroy/finish my PopupActivity, but i can't manage to do it with the code i have.

  • How do you make an added row from QueryAddRow() the first row of the result from a query?

    - by JS
    I am outputting a query but need to specify the first row of the result. I am adding the row with QueryAddRow() and setting the values with QuerySetCell(). I can create the row fine, I can add the content to that row fine. If I leave the argument for the row number off of QuerySetCell() then it all works great as the last result of the query when output. However, I need it to be first row of the query but when I try to set the row attribute with the QuerySetCell it just overwrites the first returned row from my query (i.e. my QueryAddRow() replaces the first record from my query). What I currently have is setting a variable from recordCount and arranging the output but there has to be a really simple way to do this that I am just not getting. This code sets the row value to 1 but overwrites the first returned row from the query. <cfquery name="qxLookup" datasource="#application.datasource#"> SELECT xID, xName, execution FROM table </cfquery> <cfset QueryAddRow(qxLookup)/> <cfset QuerySetCell(qxLookup, "xID","0",1)/> <cfset QuerySetCell(qxLookup, "xName","Delete",1)/> <cfset QuerySetCell(qxLookup, "execution", "Select this to delete",1)/> <cfoutput query="qxLookup"> <tr> <td> <a href="##" onclick="javascript:ColdFusion.navigate('xSelect/x.cfm?xNameVar=#url.xNameVar#&xID=#qxLookup.xID#&xName=#URLEncodedFormat(qxLookup.xName)#', '#xNameVar#');ColdFusion.Window.hide('#url.window#')">#qxLookup.xName#</a> </td> <td>#qxLookup.execution#</td> </tr> </cfoutput> </table> Thanks for any help.

Let me explain - getSelectionHTML() method is for selection of characters from 0 to 10. I am getting the values by "myDiv" id. but inner bold, italic & other tags are putting me in trouble. In simple words, I just want to make selection of first ten characters (& apply them span tag) which are in "myDiv" tag. What exactly I am missing ? Can anyone help me ? • JQuery to PHP function and back Ajaxed

    - by Xaris
    Hi all, i have a set of php function that i want to call on different events mostly onclick with jquery async (ajax). The first function is called on load $(document).ready(function() { $("#div2").hide('slow'); $("#div1").empty().html('<img src="ajax-loader.gif" />'); $.ajax( { type: "POST", url: "WebFunctions.php", data: {'func':'1'}, success: function(html) { $("#div1").show('slow').html(html) } }); The Data: {'func':'1'} -- is a switch statement on the php side switch($_POST['func']) { case '1': getParents(); break; case '2': getChilds(params); break; case '3': getChildObjects(params); break; default: } "This functions are calls to a soap server" <-- irrelevant. So when that function finishes i get an array which contains IDs and Names. I echo the names but i want the ID for reference so when i click on the echoed name i can call an other php function with parameter the ID of the name... How do i get rid of the switch statement?? How do i call properly php functions and pass params to it??? How can i save this IDs so when i click on an item with that id an other php function is called?? Plz feel free to ask any question, any answer is welcome :)

  • Very Urgent :How to start a new session if a user click on the new tab in IE or mozilla on websphere

    - by ha22109
    Hi, I have one "user search" portlet on the home page of one application running on websphere portal server.Which display the matching user records as per the search criteria filled in the search form.I have requirement to have a "back to search input" link on the results page which onclick should show the filled form on the input jsp. The issue which i am facing is if i open the application in two diff tab of same IE browser and start giving some search criteria and submit and same time search for some other input from other IE tab (in the same browser)and then go back to previous tab and click on "back to search input" link then instead of showing me the first input it will show me the imput which i entered in the next IE tab. I am setting and getting the bean(form bean) through portlet session.but in the two diff tab of same IE it will be the sae user session (and may be the same portlet session..) Please tell me solution for this. The one thing to be notice here is i can access this "user search" application even without doing login also.so it must be taking the default portlet session in this case. what wil happen once i login and then search,will it going to overwrite the portlet session and http session or howz is that?

However, when i was working this into my android application i am getting an unexpected error and was wondering if everyone could take a look at my code and help me see what i am doing wrong. Link to the initial question: passing reference of class to another class My ERROR: "The constructor ConnectDevice(new View.OnClickListener(){}) is undefined" The above is an error detected by eclipse. Thanks in advance! Below are My code snippets: public class SmartApp extends Activity { /** Called when the activity is first created. */ @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.intro); final Button connectDeviceButton = (Button) findViewById(R.id.connectDeviceButton); connectDeviceButton.setOnClickListener( new View.OnClickListener() { @Override public void onClick(View v) { Thread cThread = new Thread(new ConnectDevice(this)); cThread.start(); } }); } } public class ConnectDevice implements Runnable { private boolean connected; private SmartApp smartAppRef; private ObjectInputStream ois; public ConnectDevice(SmartApp smartAppRef) { this.smartAppRef = smartAppRef; } }

  • How do I change the application background color at run-time in a Flex 3.5 application?

    - by Adam Tuttle
    I have a Flex 3.5 application that will serve multiple purposes, and as part of the visual changes that I'd like to make to indicate which mode the application is in, I want to change its background color. Currently, the application tag looks like this: <mx:Application xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" xmlns:com="ventures.view.component.*" xmlns:views="ventures.view.*" layout="absolute" preinitialize="onPreInitialize()" creationComplete="onCreationComplete()" applicationComplete="onApplicationComplete()" click="onClick(event)" enabled="{(!chainController.generalLocked)}" backgroundGradientColors="[0xFFFFFF, 0xFFFFFF]" > I've tried using a binding, for both the backgroundColor and backgroundGradientColors attributes: <mx:Application xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" ... backgroundColor="{app_background_color}" > —and— <mx:Application xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" ... backgroundGradientColors="{app_background_color}" > but for the former binding is not allowed, and for the latter there is a warning that: Data binding will not be able to detect assignments to "app_background_color". I also ran across this page which seems to indicate that I could do it with the setStyle() method, but the documentation seems to indicate that this method is only available for components, not the main canvas. I suppose I could wrap everything in a <mx:Canvas></mx:Canvas> specificially for this purpose, but that seems wasteful—like Div-itis in HTML or something. What's the best way to change the main application background color at run-time?

  • javascript created input[type="text'] doesn't post it's variable

    - by ivannovak
    hey there, I'm creating a series of input elements and for some reason their values aren't $_POSTing. Any light shed on the subject would be appreciated! My current code is as follows: javascript Afields = 1; function addAdultInput() { if (Afields != 10) { document.getElementById('adultMembers').innerHTML += "<input type='text' value='' name='adult_members_"+Afields+"' /><br />"; Afields += 1; } else { document.getElementById('adultMembers').innerHTML += "Only 10 Adult Member fields allowed."; document.getElementById('addAdultMember').disabled=true; } } HTML <form name="form1" method="post" action=""> <tr> <td class="style12" valign="top">Adult Members' Names:<br /><small>10 Max </small><input id="addAdultMember" type="button" onclick="addAdultInput()" name="add" value="Add Adult" /></td> <td id="adultMembers"> <span class="erorr">*for paid members only</span><br /> <input type='text' value='' name='adult_members_0' /><br /> </td> </tr> <input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Register"> </form>

  • Appended content using jQuery 'append' is not submitted?

    - by YourMomzThaBomb
    I'm new to jQuery so this may be a real simple answer. I have a ASP.NET project that I'm trying to dynamically add content to a span element by typing into a text box and clicking a button. Sounds simple right? Well, I can get the content to added, but when the form is submitted the span element is still empty? Why is the new data not submitted? What step am I missing? Please help. Here's some sample code: < span id="tagContainer" runat="server"< /span < input type="text" name="tag" id="tag" / < input type="button" name="AddTag" value="Add" class="button" onclick="addTag();" / function addTag() {    if ($("#tag").val() != "") {       $("#tagContainer").append('$("#tag").val()');       $("#tag").val("");    } }

  • integrating jquery with AJAX using MVC for ddl/html.dropdownlist

    - by needhelp
    the situation: a user on the page in question selects a category from a dropdown which then dynamically populates all the users of that category in a second dropdown beside it. all the data is being retrieved using LinqtoSQL and i was wondering if this can be done a) using html.dropdownlist in a strongly typed view? b) using jquery to trigger the ajax request on selected index change instead of a 'populate' button trigger? sorry i dont have code as what i was trying really wasnt working at all. I am having trouble with how to do it conceptually and programatically! will appreciate any links to examples etc greatly! thanks in advance! EDIT: this is kind of what i was trying to achieve.. first the ViewPage: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready function TypeSearch() { $.getJSON("/Home/Type", null, function(data) { //dont know what to do here }); } </script> <p> <label for="userType">userType:</label> <%= Html.DropDownList("userType") %> <%= Html.ValidationMessage("userType", "*") %> <input type="submit" runat="server" onclick="TypeSearch()" /> <label for="accountNumber">accountNumber:</label> <%= Html.DropDownList("accountNumber") %> <%= Html.ValidationMessage("accountNumber", "*") %> </p> Then home controller action: public ActionResult Type() { string accountType = dropdownvalue; List<Account> accounts = userRep.GetAccountsByType(accountType).ToList(); return Json(accounts); }

  • Using input type="submit" to change content

    - by Conti
    Okay, I'm pretty sure I'm missing something very obvious here, but I just couldn't find a proper solution so far. What I'm trying to do is simple: Have a user write something into a form, have him submit the form, and write that input into a textarea on the same page. This is my code: <html><head></head> <body> <form name='registration'> <label for="input">Input:</label> <input type="text" id="input"/> <input type="submit" id="submit" value="Submit" onclick="execute()"/> </form> <div id="results"> <span>Result</span> <span><textarea cols="30" rows="5" id="resulttext" readonly="readonly"></textarea> </span> </div> <script> function execute() { var result = document.getElementById("input").value document.getElementById("resulttext").value=result; } </script> </body> </html> Now what happens if I enter something into the form is that the textarea briefly shows my input before reverting back to showing nothing. My guess is that the textarea field is only changed for the duration of the execute() function. When I change input type="submit" to a <button> everything works as intended, but I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to do that.

  • Make form redirect users after posting

    - by Liso22
    I need to change a form so that instead of reloading the page after submitting it, it redirects the user to another page, this is the form: <form class="questionform" name="questionform-0" id="questionform-0"> <textarea class="question-box" cols="12" rows="5" id="question-box-' . $questionformid . '" name="title" type="text" maxlength="200" size="28"></textarea> <input type="text" class="ubicacion" value="" name="question"> <input type="button" name="ask" value="Publicar" onclick="askquestion('questionform-0'); window.location.reload(true);"> I want to remove the window.location.reload and change it for a redirect that sends users to the page their comment will appear. Which is: www.chusmix.com/s?= (the content of the second field) The problem is that the content of the second field is part of the url I want to redirect, it's not simply always the same URL. So I have no idea how to do it. How do I do it? Anyway thanks for any info or whatever that points me on the right direction. Thanks

  • select (or click) specific radiobutton using jQuery

    - by Oleg Babanov
    I am trying to make specific radiobutton checked on page load and tried a lot of ways, but no one worked for me. This is a part of orderform on my webstore. <input type="radio" name="sPaymentCarrier" id="pC_2-1" value="1;2;0.00" onclick="countCarrierPrice( this )" /> <label for="pC_2-1">0</label> Actually this radiobutton is the only on radiobutton on page, and it must be checked to let user make order. I tried $(function() { var $radios = $('input:radio[name=sPaymentCarrier]'); if($radios.is(':checked') === false) { $radios.filter('[value=1;2;0.00]').attr('checked', true); } }); and $('input:radio[name="sPaymentCarrier"]').filter('[value="1;2;0.00"]').attr('checked', true); but none of these ways worked. Also I tried a lot of other codes, but when I refreshed page I still saw this button unchecked. I guess maybe I have to set up jquery click on this button instead of select, but actually I cannot make this work. Any help is appreciated!
