  • Detect at runtime which country's App Store my iPhone app was downloaded from?

    I have a feature in my iPhone application that, for business reasons, should only be shown/available to customers in the US. If I want to release this app to App Stores outside the US, what's the best way to figure out which country I'm in without relying on user-defined settings such as language and locale? In my mind, the ideal solution is that there's some runtime property that can tell me which App Store country the app was downloaded from, and I can take action accordingly. Looking through the docs and searching the web, I'm not coming up with anything in this department. I don't expect the solution to be 100% foolproof as far as users not being in the country they say they're from, but as close as possible would be nice. I suppose one solution would be to make a separate build for a new product on the App Store and have two versions, one for the US and one for the others, but that doesn't seem ideal. I'm hoping it can be the same product on the App Store to prevent things like fragmentation of user reviews. Thanks in advance!

I tried to delete this file and then start apache.But this file had been created again. Any solution?

  • Why doesn't Win Forms application update label immediately?

    I am doing some experimenting with threads, and made a 'control' method to compare against where all the processing happens in the UI thread. It should run a method, which will update a label at the end. This method runs four times, but the labels are not updated until all 4 have completed. I expected one label to get updated about every 2 seconds.     Hello I have some code that is cross-platform by unsing #ifdef OS, I have a Queue protected by a CriticalSection on Windows, and by a pthread_mutex_t on Linux. I would like to implement a Wait(timeout) call that would block a thread until something has been enqueued. I though about using WaitForSingleObject on windows but it don't seem to support CriticalSection. Which Win32 and which Linux functions should I use to Wait and Signal for a condition to happen.   • mysqldump problem with case sensitivity? Win->linux

    When i dump a table with uppercase letters using mysqldump it comes out as lower case in my dump.sql file. I found a report here in 2006, almost 4 years old http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=19967 A solution here suggest making linux insensitive. I rather not if possible. Whats the easiest way to copy a win32 db into linux?

  • WebDav alternatives? Win server 2003, win 7.

    I have an internal web page that I have an iframe with the source pointing to a webdav folder. This allows the user to drag and drop a number of files on the iframe window which a button on the main page then kicks off a server side task to process the files. I am looking for an alternative that will allow me to drag a group of files and drop them onto a target area of a web page which will then upload them to the web server. Ideally this would be in ASP.Net 2,3 or 4. Any suggestions? TIA J

  • None of my Win Forms buttons work

    I have a windows form which connects to a SQL Server though a dataset. The form was working fine since my last compile. All of a sudden, none of my buttons work! The data is loaded on the form, all the tabs work fine, drop down boxes work fine, but the buttons are literally unresponsive to any clicks. I added a test button and I get the same results. I can visually see the button getting clicked but no events. Any ideas?

  • (Win Api) Check if an external application window is on the taskbar

    Hello. I'd like to know if it's possible to know if an external application has an window that is showing up on the taskbar. I have a program that sometimes shows up an error message and it appears on the taskbar. If I "close" the message, it will go invisible, but from what I've seen it still exists. So the only way for me to know if that window is visible and thus "clickable" is to check if it is being shown on the taskbar or not. How can I do this? Thanks
