    Hi , I have generated a Google map key by login as a [email protected] . Is there any restriction in generating the number of keys for each user. Since we have 2 different domains and i need to generate key for that too. Actually i am not sure about of how many keys the person who used this id has created.. And is there any way to find of how many keys had already been created for the same account previously???

    Im trying to make a gradient that emits from the middle of the screen in white, and turns to black as it moves toward the edges of the screen.     Hello, I'm new to Android development and working on an Android application that requires the phone to be connected to the internet, through either Wifi, EDGE or 3G. This is the code that I'm using: public static boolean isConnected() { ConnectivityManager cm = (ConnectivityManager) getSystemService(Context.CONNECTIVITY_SERVICE); return cm.getActiveNetworkInfo().isConnectedOrConnecting(); } I've also set these permissions in the manifest file: <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET" /> <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE" /> This works fine in the emulator running version 1.5 of Android when 3G is enabled, but it crashes when I disable the 3G connection. My application throws a null pointer exception when I call isConnectedOrConnecting(). Hope that anyone knows the solution to this. Thanks in advance!

    For some reason the compiler won't let me retrieve the vector of integers from the map that I've created, I want to be able to overwrite this vector with a new vector.   • Google Maps API : V2 : marker icons are not square

    I have generated a bunch of png files to use as markers on my site. However when I applied them using GIcon(). I see that they are squeezed such that the height is more than the width. This even though my png files are exactly 22x22 pixels. I don't think I have the resources to generate the whole set to fit the odd 20x34 or some such size. Is there any way this can be fixed ? I tried specifying a GSize() to unsqueeze them, but that didn't work.

When the marker comes up I just want Title and Description available for edit(only once, so others cant change it). However, when I install the apk file, it says it also needs access to read the phone state and identity, and access to storage.   • How to get feedback on mobile application

    I am relatively new to programming. I have been programming with Java and Android for about 2 years now and just recently released my first app to the Google Play app store. I have passed the word on to everyone I know and posted a few times on Facebook about it. But I am not really seeing anyone install them. I love to code I'm not looking to have the next big time app, but it would be nice to get some installs and feedback/ratings so I can get an idea of how well its doing and if there are any fixes or improvements I can make. I thought about doing an AdMob campaign a couple times here and there at about $10 to $20 per day. But I'm not sure if that will generate any kind of worthwhile feedback.     I'm just wondering what would be the best strategy to publish an application on the Android Market. If you have a free and paid version you have two codes to update (I know it will be 99% the same but still) and besides all the popular paid apps are quite easy to find for "free" in "alternative" markets. Also if you have any stored data in the trial/free version you lose it when you buy the full version.. On the other hand if you put a free application but inside you allow the user to unlock options (remove ads/more settings/etc...) you only have to worry about one code. I don't know the drawbacks of that strategy and how easy/hard is to hack that to get all the options for "free".

  • Get income on a free app, offline?

    I have an Android app which I added adMob ads to. They only work tough when the user is online. Now the problem is, the app is specially made for offline use, so pretty much nobody will ever get to see one. The app is free to download, but I would still like to make a few cents out of it. It currently has around 300, which I guess will look at it about twice per workday. Any help on how to make some money with this free, offline app?
