• Blob ID matching over multiple frames in C++ (image analysis)

  Dear reader, I'm working on a blob matching and tracking library in C++. Currently I'm using openCV to detect blobs and try to match blobs in a new frame by checking the position, velocity and size of the blob. This works quite okay and I'm receiving a high blob match rate (95% or higher). Sometimes blobs fall out of the image or new blobs appear. Now I need to give matched blobs the same ID as they had before. I'm wondering if there are typical or commonly used techniques for doing this. Or even some keywords I can use to google on. Thanks

  I would like to use Esper to generate episodes of events. I am trying to detect the changes in robot movement during each time period and was wondering what would be the best way of implementation. The rules for generation of episodes from the events would be If the new event time(eg. 7sec, robot A) of a robot is more than 3 sec than the latest event(eg. 3 sec, robot A) of the same robot, the new event belongs to a new episode. Each episode should represent only one robot (eg. 2sec, robotA and 3sec, robotB should output 2 episodes) Input data: Event Time Robot Position 1 1 A 0 2 2 A 1 3 6 A 2 Output data should be: Array[0]={Event 1,Event 2} Array[1]={Event 3} //more than 3 sec Input data: Event Time Robot Position 1 1 A 0 2 2 A 1 3 4 B 0 4 6 A 2 Output data should be: Array[0]={Event 1,Event 2} Array[1]={Event 3} //different robot Array[2]={Event 4} Please help provide suggestions. I have tried using mulitple listeners, one for each robot, to create episodes and it works but I am trying to use a single EPL statement to do it. I have tried win:time_accum(3sec) group by robot but the second example output: Array[0]={Event 1,Event 2, Event 4} Array[1]={Event 3} as the time window is shifted everytime an event comes in, the system still thinks that event 4 is less than 3 sec due to event 3. how do I create a unique time window for each robot? • Completed Event not triggering for web service on some systems

  Hi, This is rather weird issue that I am facing with by WCF/Silverlight application. I am using a WCF to get data from a database for my Silverlight application and the completed event is not triggering for method in WCF on some systems. I have checked the called method executes properly has returns the values. I have checked via Fiddler and it clearly shows that response has the returned values as well. However the completed event is not getting triggered. Moreover in few of the systems, everything is fine and I am able to process the returned value in the completed method. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have tried searching around the web but without any luck :( Following is the code.. • How to return an enum ID instead of the enum text in WebAPI

  I am using the WebAPI with .NET 4.5. I have a enum called DareStatus which is a list of statuses and their corresponding integer ID's. To minimize bandwidth traffic I want to send the int values of the enums, not the full text as it is currently doing. (I have control over the client so I can map it on the clientside). • jQuery .die isnt killing an attached event?

  Hi I've just started experimenting with .live and .die and having some great results but one thing isn't working. I've been tinkering with firebugs console to try out my written code live to see if i can figure out the reason why .die isn't killing off an attached event. First if i do this //attach ajax submission $('a[href$=edit]').live("click", function(event) { $.get($(this).attr("href"), null, null); return false; }); Then as expected when I click on a link the ajax fires off and my server side code injects a form for inline editing. But sometimes I want to disable this behaviour and also make the link unclickable so I do the following //unbind ajax form creation when we click on a link, then disable its semantic behaviour $('a[href$=edit]').die("click").click( function(){ return false; } ); which works but if then try to remove this and restore that ajax goodness with the code below it doesn't work, Instead the link remains unclickable. I cant figure out why?   I am working on a simple news module. There is a form where user adds multiple image IDs to one textbox then submits it. To improve the usability, I listed all the images they can add (ID numbers displayed next to it) on one side. However, this still is little bit confusing. I want image IDs added/deleted to the textbox when user clicks on the images. Spare me codes, methods, ideas, examples... I will take anything.

  Hi Say I have a model Taggable has_many tags, how may I find all taggables by their associated tag's taggable_id field? Taggable.find(:all, :joins => :tags, :conditions => {:tags => {:taggable_id => [1,2,3]}}) results in this: SELECT `taggables`.* FROM `taggables` INNER JOIN `tags` ON tags.taggable_id = taggables.id WHERE (`tag`.`taggable_id` IN (1,2,3)) The syntax is incredible but does not fit my needs in that the resulting sql returns any taggable that has any, some or all of the tags. How can I find taggables with related tags of field taggable_id valued 1, 2 and 3? Thanks for any advice. :)

  I originally started by selecting customers from a group of customers and then for each customer querying the records for the past few days and presenting them in a table row. This is especially useful when users who have many different interests and skill levels share the same database.   Background: I am customizing an existing ASP .NET / C# application. It has it's own little "framework" and conventions for developers to follow when extending/customizing its functionality. I am currently extending some of it's administrative functionality, to which the framework provides a contract to enforce implementation of the GetAdministrationInterface() method, which returns System.Web.UI.Control. This method is called during the Page_Load() method of the page hosting the GUI interface. Problem: I have three buttons in my GUI, each of which have been assigned an Event Handler. My administration GUI loads up perfectly fine, but clicking any of the buttons doesn't do what I expect them to do. However, when I click them a second time, the buttons work. I placed breakpoints at the the beginning of each event handler method and stepped through my code. On the first click, none of the event handlers are triggered. On the second click, they are triggered. Any ideas? The row houses the artist id involved along with other information (what type of change, time and date, etc). My users have a "favorite artists" section where they can do just that -- mark artists as their favorites. As such, I'd like to create a new feature that shows the user the changes made to their various favorite artists. How should I be doing this efficiently? SELECT * FROM table_updates WHERE artist_id = 1 and artist_id = 500 and artist_id = 60032 Keep in mind, a user could have 43,000 of our artists marked as a favorite. Thoughts?

• How can i get the selected option name or id of a select element using jQuery

  Hi All, i have a "questionairre" that is made up of a series of select boxes. i need to use two properties in the options. For each selected option i need the value (which i know how to get and is working fine) but i also need to store an additional value which represents the id of the specific option in a DB. One solution would be to put the two values in the "value" property and parse it out.. but if there is some other property i can use that might be easier and clearer.. can i add a custom property?? like databaseId that could be accessed with jQuery? thanks for ANY suggestions.

  I'm using an INSERT ON DUPLICATE KEY statement for my website. It's for creating news items, so I figured I could use the same MySQL command for both creating and updating news items. However, when I use the following: INSERT INTO table (id,title,content) VALUES(NULL,"Test","Test"); Instead of creating a new auto increment value it throws an error. However, the command works on my main development server. But not on my laptop. Both versions of MySQL are the same, the only difference being MySQL was installed manually on my server, and with WAMP on my laptop. Are there any MySQL Variables that could be causing this?

  I am current in planning on creating a big database (2+ million rows) with a variety of data from separate sources. I would like to avoid structuring the database around auto_increment ids to help prevent against sync issues with replication, and also because each item inserted will have a alphanumeric product code that is guaranteed to be unique - it seems to me more sense to use that instead. I am looking at a search engine to index this database with Sphinx looking rather appealing due to its design around indexing relational databases. However, looking at various tutorials and documentation seems to show database designs being dependent on an auto_increment field in one form or another and a rather bold statement in the documentation saying that document ids must be 32/64bit integers only or things break. Is there a way to have a database indexed by Sphinx without auto_increment fields as the id?

In these cases, I want to disable the TextChanged event until I'm done programmatically setting the value. Then, when I'm done, I want to restore the event handler to behave as it was. For a single TextBox, I know I can accomplish this by doing the following: myTextBox.TextChanged -= myTextBox_TextChanged; myTextBox.Text = "[Some Value]"; myTextBox.TextChanged += myTextBox_TextChanged; However, I want to write this functionality into a single method that can be accessed by several methods. For instance, I'm trying to do so something like the following private void UpdateTextValue(TextBox textBox, string newValue) { object eventHandler = textBox.TextChanged; textBox.TextChanged -= eventHandler; textBox.Text = newValue; textBox.TextChanged += eventHandler; } Unfortunately, this approach doesn't work. • psloglist -w into a file

  I'm trying to redirect windows event log continuously into a file. psloglist.exe has the -w feature (that listens for new events and outputs to console) so I tried combining it with redirection into a file like so: psloglist -w > out.txt It doesn't work. As new events are logged they do not show up in the file. However, if I remove > out.txt new events do shows up in the console!
