  • Jquery slider going the wrong way

    Im using a jquery slider and having an issue with what direction it scrolls on click. It seems to screw up after clicking the right arrow then left, but will scroll left if clicked first, weird. Is this a bug or am I missing something here? PS- Im using Chrome (Mac) but seems to behave the same with Firefox and Safari See example http://www.warface.co.uk/clients/warface.co.uk/blog/ Please click the red central arrow to reveal the slider.     How do I simulate a scrollbar click with jQuery? So, if a user clicks on a div that says "scroll down," it'll be the exact same behavior as if he/she clicked on the down arrow of the browser's scrollbar. Using the current browser's behavior would be optimal, vs. doing something like $.browser.scrolldown(200,'fast'). Something like $.browser.triggerDownArrowOnScrollBar() would be sweet!

    Hi all, I have a strange bug. I create a qx.ui.table.Table and if not all specified columns fit into window (horizontal scroll appear) my browsers (firefox 3.5.6 and chrome 5.0.344) hangs. If i just set width for window large (e.g. from 600px to 800px) - all works fine. May be I'm doing something wrong? Or how can I fix/avoid this 'strange' behaviour?

  • How can I make sure a ListView item always resizes to show all rows?

    I have a panel which contains a TableLayoutPanel which itself contains a number of ListViews and Labels. What I'd like is for each list view to resize to fit all of it's contents in vertically (i.e. so that every row is visible). The TableLayoutPanel should handle any vertical scrolling but I can't work out how to get the ListView to resize itself depending on the number of rows. Do I need to handle OnResize and manually resize or is there already something to handle this?

  • disable horizontal scrolling by finger swipe

    This may just be a mac issue, but I have a page with an element which is twice the size of the page and is moved into view dynamically. in my css I have overflow-x:hidden set so that this element won't create an ugly bottom scollbar, the problem is on my laptop (and probably on ipads and other devices) I can just swipe with two fingers to scroll and view this content. This breaks the whole layout and looks really bad, and I am looking for a way to completely disable this horizontal scrolling action with javascript or css. Thank you

    window.resize event in IE doesnt do what i thought it does. I thought it only triggered when the physical window/view-port changed size (ie user hits maximize on the browser window for example), but it is also triggered if i change the document size, introducing scroll bars. is there any way to tell those two things apart: view port resize, and document resize without writing an elaborate hack?
