    I use BroadcastReceiver to intercept incoming call on Android phone as below tm = (TelephonyManager) context.getSystemService(Context.TELEPHONY_SERVICE); Bundle bundle = intent.getExtras(); String number = bundle.getString(TelephonyManager.EXTRA_INCOMING_NUMBER); In the "private number" case, I tested on two devices, it shows the number as -1 on HTC Wildfire and -2 on Galaxy S. I checked the android.telephony.PhoneNumberUtils but it could't help me. Is there a function or a generic way to detect a private number on Android phone? Thanks

    I am trying to right a Google Cloud Platform app in python with Flask that makes an MQTT connection. I have included the paho python library by doing pip install paho-mqtt -t libs/. However, when I try to run the app, even if I don't try to connect to MQTT. I get a weird error about IP address checking: RuntimeError: error('illegal IP address string passed to inet_pton',) It seems something in the remote_socket lib is causing a problem. Is this a security issue? Is there someway to disable it?   • Can this be improved? Scrubing of dangerous html tags.

    I been finding that for something that I consider pretty import there is very little information or libraries on how to deal with this problem. I found this while searching. I really don't know all the million ways that a hacker could try to insert the dangerous tags. I have a rich html editor so I need to keep non dangerous tags but strip out bad ones. So is this script missing anything?     Maybe this is just my unfamiliarity with unicode, so please correct me if I'm mistaken. Looking at http://json.org/, the spec says that a string can include "any UNICODE character", but this confuses me. JSON is a communication format correct? At the core of it, everything must translate down to bytes. In contrast, UNICODE is a logical format and must be encoded to be able to transmit it, right? So what did they mean there?
