    I am trying to query the google datastore for something like (with pm -- persistanceManager): String filters = "( field == 'value' || field == 'anotherValue' )"; Query query = pm.newQuery(myType.class, filters); When I execute - I am getting back: App Engine datastore does not support operator OR. What's the best approach in people experience for this kind of queries? Any help appreciated!

    I need a regular expression for which: the string is alphanumeric and have exactly 6 characters in the first half followed by hyphen(optional) followed by optional 4 characters:(cannot have more than 4 characters in the second half) so any of the following is valid 11111A 111111-1 111111-yy yyyyy-989 yyyyyy-9090 I have ^[a-zA-Z0-9]{5}(-[a-zA-Z0-9]{1,3})?$ as the regex expression what if i want to add another condition stating that the first half cannot have all zeros and also the whole expression cannot have zeros so 00000 or 00000-000 is invalid

My question is: is it possible to define two regex expressions as follows: every path starting with /foobar/* every other path not starting with /foobar The important part here is that the second path should also match if somewhere within it, but not in the beginning, it cotains the /foobar/ string.     I have 3 UITextFields in a grouped UITableView and am trying to figure out the correct logic to only have my 'Save' UIBarButtonItem enabled when none of the UITextFields are empty. I'm currently using the - (BOOL)textField:(UITextField *)textField shouldChangeCharactersInRange:(NSRange)range replacementString:(NSString *)string UITextField delegate method to detect changes to the field character by character, but it is providing inconsistent results. Any ideas?

    I have the following code. What I want to achieve is to update the shown list when I click an entry so I can traverse through the list. I found the two uncommented ways to do it here on stackoverflow, but neither works. I also got the advice to create a new ListActivity on the data update, but that sounds like wasting resources? EDIT: I found the solution myself. All you need to do is call "SimpleCursorAdapter.changeCursor(new Cursor);".     I want to show a table with the list of strings which are localized. The straightforward method would be: a) Point data source to my ViewController b) Define an array c) Allocate the array in my ViewController and init (arrayWithObjects) it with the strings from localized resources (NSLocalizedString) d) Use this array in UITableViewDataSource delegated methods Mainly my concern is item b). The construction looks quite heavy and I wonder whether I can somehow specify and load whole list of localized string at once.
