  • Android adding external libraries to project

    I have a project that I would like to add external libraries to (and have them packaged with the application) but I am not sure it is happening. I read on this link: http://developer.android.com/intl/fr/guide/appendix/faq/commontasks.html how to, but they do not show up in any of the /data/data/project directories. Does anyone know how I can confirm that the libraries were in fact added to the project for use at runtime? Thanks.

    hello all i have my splash screen which i want to show in landscape mode and all other screen in potrait mode. My root view controller is acting as a splash screen i am writing this code in viewdidload method [[UIDevice currentDevice] setOrientation:UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight]; But this code is not working and shows me that UIdevice may not respond to setorentation please guide me that how could i change the orentation for only first splash screen and also other screen should be in potrait mode

And, I am trying to host these services under Windows Service. Can anyone please guide me if App.config in Windows Service will be same as the one in WCF Library?     All, How can we debug a Eclipse plug-in based on GEF? Currently, I have a Activator class and custom editor from Example . Yet I am not able to find any output for the plugin. I tried using the "Launch Eclipse in Debug Mode" and setting a breakpoint in the Activator constructor method, but do not find any debugging activities taking place. Can anyone please guide on how to go about with debugging?

I can't find in the API how to get the "TO" recipients as String for each Message. Can anyone guide me on how to do this? At least a link where someone has already done it. Thanks in advance

    Hi I have created an Amazon EC2 Instance that provides Windows Server 2008 with SQL Sever 2008 pre-installed. Now in order to use the SQL Server for creating databases, or restoring backups of the databases that I have on my local machine, I need the "sa" password for SQL Server 2008. I have tried using the following but with no luck: sa password "blank password" "same password as the admin password for my EC2 instance" Could someone please guide me as to how to get started with using the Amazon EC2 Datacenter with respect to the "sa" password.   • How to generate a certificate request with SubjectAltNames on IIS 6.0 ?

    I'm looking for a way to add a Subject Alternative Name in my certificate request in the IIS 6.0 certificate creation wizard. It seems I can only fill the Subject field and not the Subject Alternative Name. Trying to follow this guide (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931351) using certreq.exe doesn't help, it fails without any hint except that it prints its manual. Any suggestions appreciated, I hope I won't have to export my public key and generate the csr with openssl :/

    From the docs: When Core Data turns an object into a fault, key-value observing (KVO) change notifications (see Key-Value Observing Programming Guide) are sent for the object’s properties. If you are observing properties of an object that is turned into a fault and the fault is subsequently realized, you receive change notifications for properties whose values have not in fact changed. So if an object turns into a fault, Core Data does send KVO notifications for changed properties? So I must always check for isFault == NO before beeing happy about the notification?
