  • Convert UTF-16 to UTF-8 under Windows and Linux, in C

    I was wondering if there is a recommended 'cross' Windows and Linux method for the purpose of converting strings from UTF-16LE to UTF-8? or one should use different methods for each environment? I've managed to google few references to 'iconv' , but for somreason I can't find samples of basic conversions, such as - converting a wchar_t UTF-16 to UTF-8. Anybody can recommend a method that would be 'cross', and if you know of references or a guide with samples, would very appreciate it. Thanks, Doori Bar

    I'd like to create an MDI application using SWT. I've done extensive searches and reach that the Decorations Object is the one responsable for trying supporting behavior. However, I've a Linux box, and the example provided here: http://java-gui.info/Apress-The.Definitive.Guide.to.SWT.and.JFace/8886final/LiB0070.html#ch08fig02 doesn't works with me. the output of the example provided by the above link is: However, On Linux (GTK), I see only labels without control bars or boxes!! could you please help?

However they still have the subdirectories. Does anyone know of a guide I can walk through which might explain how you do this, especially to include the revolution-slider which has a whole subdirectory of CSS and images.     It's been a while since I've installed PHP for Windows, but every guide I've seen online tells me to set IIS to recognize .PHP files with php5isapi.dll. However, I can't seem to find php5isapi.dll anywhere after installing PHP 5.3.0 and PHP 5.2.10. If I recall correctly it should be in C:\InstallDir Am I missing something important?

I'd like to compile the wxWidget source code, but haven't found a good guide yet. As GPRS bandwidth is low, I don't want to use HTTPS. So I want to encrypt the header only. Is it possible? If yes, how? Please guide me.
