  • How to make a jquery datePicker button image unclickable

    I have a jquery UI datePicker in my page. I have a text box on which the date is displayed. The code is: $("#cal").datepicker({ minDate: new Date(), defaultDate: new Date(), buttonImage: '/images/calendar.gif', constrainInput: false, closeText: 'Close', showButtonPanel: true, showButtonText: 'Choose a date', buttonImageOnly : true, showOn : 'button' }); $("#till").datepicker('setDate', today); I want to disable this on some conditions. I use the following code to disable: $("#cal").datePicker('disable'); It blacks out the text box but the image is still clickable. The problem is in IE, the date picker pop up comes up but does not close when the image button associated with the date picker is clicked. I also tried to bind a onclick function with the image to make it non-clickable. But that does not work as well. How can make the date picker image button non-clickable when the date picker is disabled. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Farzana

I mean: MyObject.objects.filter(datetime_attr=datetime.date(2009,8,22)) I get an empty queryset list as an answer because (I think) I am not considering time, but I want "any time". Is there an easy way in Django for doing this? * I have the time in the datetime setted, it is not 00:00.

    Haha.. I'm using Chronic to parse the time users add in the Calendar. Where the code works and implements the right time, the end result is that, IF a user adds a time, then it has no date, and because it has no date, it will not show in results.     I have a list of tasks. A task is defined by a name, a due date and a duration. My TaskManager class handles a std::list<Task> sorted by due date. It has to provide a way to get the tasks due for a specific date. How would you implement that ? I think a good way (from API point of view) would be to provide a std::list<Task>::iterator pair. So I would have a TaskManager::begin(date) method. Do you think this method should get the iterator by iterating from the start of the list until it finds the first task due on that date, or by getting it from a std::map<date, std::list<Task>::iterator> (but then we have to keep it up-to-date when adding or removing tasks) ? And then, how could I implement the TaskManager::end(date) method ?

    so i create in my view: <%=date=Date.today%> How do i get the name of the month out of the date? I was trying to do sth like <%= DATE::ABBR_MONTHNAMES(date.month)%> But without success. I am prompted to choose from Send by SMS, Send by Email, Send by Bluetooth, Send by Fring etc. How do I make such a popup, it seamed to be automatically built? Also how do I tell what message to use? And if needed how do I tell who the contact is? Maybe chooses the options based on the contact, (if has email, show email)

    Hey guys, I created a list for fixtures. $result = mysql_query("SELECT date FROM ".TBL_FIXTURES." WHERE compname = '$comp_name' GROUP BY date"); $i = 1; $d = "Start"; while ($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)) { $odate = $row['date']; $date=date("F j Y", $row['date']); echo "<p>Fixture $i - $d to $date</p>"; } As you can see from the query, the date is displayed from the fixtures table. The way my system works is that when a fixture is "played", it is removed from this table. Therefore when the entire round of fixtures are complete, there wont be any dates for that round in this table. They will be in another table. Is there anyway I can run an other query for dates at the same time, and display only dates from the fixtures table if there isnt a date in the results table? "SELECT * FROM ".TBL_CONF_RESULTS." WHERE compid = '$_GET[id]' && type2 = '2' ORDER BY date" That would be the second query!

  • Different data for different dates

    I am making a web page which will allow users to input and view data for different dates, and to change the date, there are two buttons, one of which will display the previous day, and one which will show the next day. I know that I can do this by submitting forms and reloading the page every time they press one of these buttons, but I would rather use javascript and not have to submit a form, but I am having troubles getting it to work. So here are my questions: 1) Is it possible to dynamically change data (such as text, and in the future, SQL queries) on a page using javascript without having to reload a page when clicking on a button? 2) If possible, how can I make those changes? 3) How can I fix this so that it will increment and decrement through dates every time a button is clicked?
