• Strange iPhone application icon view in the iTunes's Applications section

  When I drag 'My iPhone App' application's file into iTunes it has proper view. Rounded corners and transparent background. Then I close iTunes and open it again. Corners are still rounded but...   Hello, I have 13 quantitative variables in a data.frame (called 'UNCA'). The variables are named q01_a, q01_b, ...q01_m. I want to create 13 new variables that have the same values but are coded as a factor. I would like to name these 13 new variables q01_a.F, q01_b.F, ...q01_m.F.   Suppose, I want to record say poll choices by users everyday. In this case, i have a table named vote which has columns poll , choice and user-id . So how can i out the constraint (maybe in the django models or wherever possible) that poll and user-id both should not be the same for any entry but like the same user can vote for various different polls once and obviously various users can vote for the same poll.   Which files are the actual files holding the data in the tables in a mysql db? I went to /var/lib/mysql/ and I can see there a bunch of relatively small directories corresponding to my tables, and a lot of files named servername-bin.0000001 etc. Is the data stored in those files?

  I have a special content-type that I have created, and one of the fields is a radio button list. The last element is named 'Other' and I would like to have a textbox appear and allow the user to enter in a non-defined value. Is this sort of capability provided by any sort of module, or is this something that needs to be coded by hand? (If so, would you mind pointing me in the correct direction?)

  I want to select data from one table (T1, in DB1) in one server (Data.Old.S1) into data in another table (T2, in DB2) in another server (Data.Latest.S2). How can I do this ? Please note the way the servers are named. The query should take care of that too. That is, SQL server should not be confused about fully qualified table names. For example - this could confuse SQL server - Data.Old.S1.DB1.dbo.T1.

  Imagine a have a table with a column named status: status ------ A A A B C C D D D How can I count how many rows have A, how many rows have B etc? this kind of output: A |B |C |D |E ------------------ 3 |1 |2 |3 |0 As for E = O , this will always be A,B,C,D and E Output should be one row (thus 1 query). When doing a distinct count (most returning answer on my searches, it does return how many different elements there are, 4 in this case...)

On average, for every row in the main table will have about 8-10 detail rows in it. My question is: What kind of performance impacts does this have over adding these details as additional nullable columns on the main table?

  I'm having an issue with the treeview control from the silverlight 4 toolkit. I can't get it to view to display my data correctly, the toplevel items are shown but the childnodes are nowhere to be seen. More info: I have a wcf service that delivers a list of Categories with nested subcategories to my viewmodel (I made sure to explicitly include my subcategory data).
