This is an E-commerce project and I am looking for something to manage Product and system URL from database. Something Similar like magneto dose. Basically anything after the domain say like domain.com/demo/12/my_iphone so now demo/12/my_iphone will be sent to database for querry and in databases there will be a destination URL which could be productlisting.php?searchstring=iphones so the user will see link domain.com/demo/12/my_iphone but actualy he will be seeing productlisting.php?searchstring=iphones basically demo/12/my_iphone = productlisting.php?searchstring=iphones and tomorrow if the user want to edit demo/12/my_iphone to demo/12/myiphone he can just do so using simple form which will update in the database. How can i achieve this ?

  • .htacces Rewrite Rule to Keep .php File Extensions

    I'm upgrading my static website that had .php extensions on the content pages. I've created my own simple cms which will start retrieving data from mysql database from now on, keeping the url structure same as the old once. The cms has get function to retrieve url structure from the database. Overall it started working fine with .html when i tested. But when i change the .html extension to .php in my .htaccess code the content pages starts reflecting "Internal Server Error. The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request." Here is my .htaccess code which i've used: RewriteBase / Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^([^?]*).php$ content.php?pid=$1 Perhaps there is a conflict, here is the code with .html extension that actually works fine. RewriteBase / Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^([^?]*).html$ content.php?pid=$1 So basically, content pages with .html are working & .php are not working. But i need my content pages to be with .php Please help. Thanks in advance... :)

  • Silverlight Not Rendering On Navigation

    I'm trying to create a site that requires login. Its entirely designed in silverlight. So my first page, home.xaml loads in mysite.aspx and it basically has a login page. AFter login, the user is redirected to another page user.aspx. in that page, i've embedded another silverlight control called nav.xaml. so now when user.aspx loads it is supposed to load a silverlight control. i've programmed app.xaml.vb such that it loads nav.xaml in the rootlayout when the page requesting is user.aspx. but for some reason its not working. my app.xaml.vb code: Private Sub Application_Startup(ByVal o As Object, ByVal e As StartupEventArgs) Handles Me.Startup If e.InitParams.ContainsKey("ReqPage") Then If e.InitParams("ReqPage") = "userpage" Then Me.RootVisual = New Nav() End If Else Me.RootVisual = New Home() End If End Sub in IE, half of the nav.xaml is rendered. but in firefox nothing is rendered. so wats going on exactly? pls help!

    I've a Html page index.htm which has an iframe to page search.htm the search.htm has code like this function executeSearch() { window.parent.location = "/SearchResults.aspx?t=" + txt_Search.value; } this code executed now from index.htm page and it works great on IE and Chrome, but not FireFox ... is there any work around ?? I tried window.parent.location.href, window.opener.location, window.parent.document.location ... but nothing of those worked. after searching the web i found some one with similar prob he said that this is a security settings in Firefox ... is this true?? and if so is there any workaround ?

    I am at an absolute loss as to what I am doing wrong with the following code. I am trying to implement a messaging system within my application, but want it to be handle different types of messages. In this case, I want to create a "request" message of ':message_type = 1'. Instead of using forms as I usually have, I want to make this instance the moment the link is clicked.   • Server.Transfer - What could be the issue here?

    We have implemented a website with the ability for the user to post his actioncode. This then will be checked by the code and when the user has a price the website will Server.Transfer him to another page. The strange thing here is that the user information will be submitted to the database and the actioncode can't be used again. Here we go... I have one user in this database that is inserted twice very fast after the first time he was added. This are the timestamps: 2010-04-23 07:54:41.133 2010-04-23 07:54:41.417 The insert statement is only called once from the code and the user gets Server.Transfered to the Price.aspx page where he sees what price he won. How can it be that this happened? I'm guessing the user hitted F5 but then he had to be very very fast... Thx!

  • Work with AJAX response with DOM methods

    I'm retrieving an entire HTML document via AJAX - and that works fine. But I need to extract certain parts of that document and do things with them. Using a framework (jquery, mootools, etc) is not an option. The only solution I can think of is to grab the body of the HTML document with a regex (yes, I know, terrible) ie. <body>(.*)</body> put that into the current page's DOM in a hidden element, and work with it from there. Is there an easier/better way? Update I've done some testing, and inserting an entire HTML document into a created element behaves a bit differently across browsers I've tested. For example: FF3.5: keeps the contents of the HEAD and BODY tags IE7 / Safari4: Only includes what's between ... Opera 10.10: Keeps HEAD and everything inside it, Keeps contents of BODY The behavior of IE7 and Safari are ideal, but different browsers are doing this differently. Since I'm loading a predetermined HTML document I think I'm going to use the regEx to grab what I want and insert it into a DOM element - unless someone has other suggestions.

I have a dynamic dns account where I map my machine's dynamic IP to an address say, www.xxx.yyy.net Now, I have registered another short domain name say www.yyy.com, the hosting is on a linux server. Now, my machine is actually a webserver which runs .net website which can be accessed by www.xxx.yyy.net I need my homepage(index.php) in my www.yyy.com handle the redirection in a way that the pages to be loaded from www.xxx.yyy.net/.... but it should look in the browser as www.yyy.com/... Is there any way to do this using php?

    After sending an invite request i receive a trying answer, and immidietly after that i receive error 407 proxy authentication required. After sending ack & another invite with the proxy header i receive session progress about 1/4 of the time!! other times it just sends 407 error again & again. Any ideas?

    Lets say I have an application with a structure such as: System set date set name set something Other set death ray target calibrate and I want to have "back" and "next" buttons on a page. The catch is, if you're going in via the "wizard", I want the nav path to be something like "set name" - "set death ray target" - "set name". If you go via the Advanced options menu, I want to just iterate options... "set date" - "set name" - "set something" - "set death ray target" - calibrate. So far, I'm thinking I have to use different URIs, but that's that. Any ideia how this could be done? Thanks.

  • jQuery ajax response not operating correctly

    Ok this is frustrating... The code below works "correctly" as far as sending the email address to the SaveEmail URL and it gets saved correctly each time I change the drop down. However it only outputs the "Successful" message once, no matter how many times I change the value in the drop down. The "data" that is returned is "Successful". I would like to show the message for a couple seconds, then fade it out. It works correctly the first time I change the drop down, after that the change happens and the value gets saved, but the "Successful" message doesn't display. jQuery code: $('#AgentEmails').change(function() { var NewAddress = $('#AgentEmails').val(); $.post('SaveEmail.aspx', { email: NewAddress }, function(data) { $('#SelectMsg').html("<b>" + data + "</b>").fadeOut(); }); }); HTML code: <select ID='AgentEmails' runat='server'> <option value="[email protected]">TEST</option> </select><span id='SelectMsg'></span> What needs to be changed in my code to make this operate correctly?   • Programmatically Update UITableView in Response to Button Press

    I have a completely custom view that holds a UITableView and a Custom Tab Bar (basically a UIView that contains 6 UIButtons). I am loading data from a plist file, and then I am sorting the data into multiple arrays based on categories (an array for misc items, and array for mail items, etc.) Each button in the tab bar represents a category, and when I press the button I call the custom function "miscSelected" and so on. How can I have the table view completely reload and then display the tableview based on the array selected (select the misc category and the tableview clears itself and loads the misc array data, same for any other category)? The method I have experimented with is created and NSString named "selection" and then in each button function I set selected to equal whatever section I am selecting. In my cellForRoxAtIndexPath method I have this: if ([self.selection isEqualToString:@"All Items"]) { NSArray *mainDataArray = [NSArray arrayWithContentsOfFile:self.plistFile]; NSSortDescriptor *brandDescriptor = [[NSSortDescriptor alloc] initWithKey:@"name" ascending:YES]; NSArray *sortDescriptors = [NSArray arrayWithObject:brandDescriptor]; self.sortedData = [mainDataArray sortedArrayUsingDescriptors:sortDescriptors]; } else if ([self.selection isEqualToString:@"Misc Items"]){ self.sortedData = [NSArray arrayWithContentsOfFile:self.plistFile]; } cell.itemTitle.text = [[self.sortedData objectAtIndex:indexPath.row] objectForKey:@"name"]; For the sake of example and testing I am simply displaying the same data, just one button displays it in alphabetical order and the other does not. This code works only when I start to scroll down and back up, but it does not actually update on button press. Calling myTable reloadData does not do anything either.     My situation: We have a mobile version of our website, and want to start redirecting mobile users to it. The plan is to do this in Apache httpd.conf or .htaccess, using something like this: RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} (iPhone|Blackberry|...) RewriteRule (.*) mobile/$1 However we want there to be a way for users to override our default action of redirecting them. One way we thought to do it was to show a link on the mobile site directing back to the regular site, and store a cookie when they use that link. Could the Apache configuration file check a cookie before redirecting? Is there a better way?
