  I am trying to write data from an excel spread sheet to a SQL Database. I have been able to connect to the Excel Spreadsheet and read the data but I am unable to get the data to insert into the SQL DB table. the current code is as follows any help most appreciated.   Hello, We need to import some orders file on magento enterprise. In our file, products contains customs Options. We tried to make an extension but we have some problems to import Customs options. The import of standard product is successful but not for the product with customs options. For customs option, missing "info_buyRequest" valu in database. The technical support of magento we responded "the import process currently can't handle importing products with custom options". Magento use custom options when ordering a product with customs options on website. What features do magento use to fill in the fields "info_buyRequest" and "Product_options" when ordering? Have you see a extension pack for import file order with product contains customs options? Thanks for your help.

• orbean forms bulder + custom persistance api: Why does it call /crud/.../data/data.xml?

  I am currently implementing my own persistence layer for orbeon forms. As far as I have understood the virtual hierachy of data, creating a form with form builder in the application "myapp" with the name "myform" should cause the form builder to call /crud/myapp/myform/form/form.xhtml, passing the newly created form as HTTP-PUT data. Thus I created a spring method annotated with: @RequestMapping(method = RequestMethod.PUT, value = "/crud/{applicationName}/{formName}/form/form.xhtml") public void saveForm(@PathVariable String formName, @RequestBody String putData) I expected this method to be called with my form. But this method does not get called. Instead the method @RequestMapping(method = RequestMethod.PUT, value = "/crud/{applicationName}/{formName}/data/{uuid}/data.xml") public void saveInstance(@PathVariable String uuid, @RequestBody String putData) gets called. Put data contains the full xhtml form. Why is this happening? I thought that the second URL would only be called for saving an instance, more specifically the <xforms:instance id="fr-form-instance"> part of a form, once I fill in values for a form.

• last_login_at not working (null) w/ Authlogic Magic Columns...

  I am using the Authlogicgem for authentication and most of it seems to be working great. Authlogic provides several columns that you can add to your Users table (for example) that it knows to fill in if they are present. i.e. login_count, current_login_ip, last_request_at and last_login_at. All seem to be working fine with the exception of the last_login_at field which is null for each user. Is there anything specific that could be causing this perhaps having to do with the user sessions, etc? I can post code if needed but wasn't sure what would relate to this.

  I have an entity in my EDMX that I've extended with a few fields in a partial class like this: public partial class Employee { public string JobName {get;set;} } These properties are for display only. In the above example say the entity has a JobTypeID property. I wish JobName to be populated w/ the name that belongs to that JobTypeID. Is there anyway to query the employee record in EF including the value for the JobName property w/o explicity assigning each field using select()? The reason I ask is that there are a lot of fields in the Employee entity so I'd like to be able to take advantage of something like: ctx.Employees.Where(e=>e.EmployeeID==employeeID).Single() ...add somehow fill in JobName too Is this possible?

• vb.net session variable passing "space" from one page to another

  i have 2 aspx webpages with vb.net code. On the first page, I have a text box, on first page that says "Enter Hobby", but its not a required textbox. So if the user clicks submit, it'll load up the second page. Now in the second page i have textbox "hobby" which has maxlength = 10. and in the vb.net code i have hobby.text = session("hobby"). if the user doesnt fill up hobby in first page, the session comes with 10 "spaces" since maxlength is 10. I tried hobby.text = TRIM(session("hobby"), but nothing happens. Any idea how i can lose the spaces if nothing is inputted?

• Parent-Child relation while using object data source

  Hello guys I am experiencing with a class generator I've written, which generates a class for each table in database with each table field as a property and such. Before that, I used to add a typed dataset to the project and add some tables to it. It automatically detected the relationship between tables and when I added a parent table as data source of a datagrid, I could add another datagrid and use the foreing key data member of it's bindingsource to fill it, and when someone moved the focus on parent datagrid, the data in child datagrid would change accordingly. Now that I have my classes, I add an object as data source for my 2 datagrids, but obviously it doesn't detect a parent child relation. But It'd really help if I could have that foreign key relation in my object datasources. Is there any way to have that relation in object datasource?

Name (Text) Value (Text) Group (Group - Is a list of option pulled from a database table) Now the Model for this View looks like so, public string Name { get; set; } public string Value { get; set; } public int GroupID { get; set; } Now the view is Strongly Typed to the above model. What method would one use to populate the drop down list? Since the data is not contained within the Model (It could be contained in the Model) should we be using Temp/View data? A HTML Helper? What would be the ideal way to achieve this.

• When to trash hashmap contents to avoid performance degradation?

  Hello, I'm woking on Java with a large (millions) hashmap that is actually built with a capacity of 10.000.000 and a load factor of .75 and it's used to cache some values since cached values become useless with time (not accessed anymore) but I can't remove useless ones while on the way I would like to entirely empty the cache when its performance starts to degrade. How can I decide when it's good to do it? For example, with 10 millions capacity and .75 should I empty it when it reaches 7.5 millions of elements? Because I tried various threshold values but I would like to have an analytic one. I've already tested the fact that emping it when it's quite full is a boost for perfomance (first 2-3 algorithm iterations after the wipe just fill it back, then it starts running faster than before the wipe) Thanks

I'm working on a project now and as the JS (Mostly jQuery) libraries grow, it's getting more and more difficult to introduce change or refactor, because I have no way of guaranteeing the accuracy of the code without manually testing everything. I don't really know anything about JavaScript Testing Frameworks, or how they integrate/operate in a .Net project, so I thought I'd ask here. What would a good testing framework be for .Net? What does a JavaScript test look like? (e.g. with NUnit, I have [TestFixture] classes & [Test] methods in a ProjectTests assembly) How do I run a javascript test? • Why should pop() take an argument?

  Quick background I'm a Java developer who's been playing around with C++ in my free/bored time. Preface In C++, you often see pop taking an argument by reference: void pop(Item& removed); I understand that it is nice to "fill in" the parameter with what you removed. That totally makes sense to me. This way, the person who asked to remove the top item can have a look at what was removed. However, if I were to do this in Java, I'd do something like this: Item pop() throws StackException; This way, after the pop we return either: NULL as a result, an Item, or an exception would be thrown. My C++ text book shows me the example above, but I see plenty of stack implimentations taking no arguments (stl stack for example). The Qustion How should one implement the pop function in C++? The Bonus Why?

  Hi. I have a table with some columns. Something like this: tr1td1 one remove button tr1td2 one remove button ... The table has the size of the div#outer When I click remove button I remove with jquery the entire column . In Firefox everything's fine the table's columns resize to fill the div but in Internet Explorer the table's columns remain just as they are. It's like the browser doesn't refresh the css style. Because if I refresh the page the table looks just as it shoud be. Any ideas?

  I have a big form on my site. When the users fill it out and submit it, most of the data just gets dumped to the database, and then they get redirected to a new page. However, I'd also like to use the data to query another site, and then parse the results. That might take a bit longer. It's not essential that the user sees these results right away, so I was wondering if it's possible to asynchronously call a function that will handle this, and then return an HttpResponse from my view like usual without making them wait? If so... how? Any particular libraries I should look at?

  I have this data structure: request ======= building_id lot_code building ======== building_id lot_id lot === lot_id lot_code The request table is missing the value for the building_id column and I want to fill it in from the other tables. So I've tried this: UPDATE request SET building_id = ( SELECT bu.building_id FROM building bu INNER JOIN lot lo ON bu.lot_id=lo.lot_id WHERE lo.lot_code = request.lot_code ); But I'm getting this error: Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , , = or when the subquery is used as an expression. Is it due to wrong syntax? The data model allows more than one building per lot but actual data doesn't contain such cases so there should be at most one building_id per lot_code.

  Ok I'm using getSharedPreferences to store my high score but before I fill it up I wanted to sort the scores into ascending order via and array, but if it finds a Score less than it in the first pos then it wont check the rest for the smallest? //function to add score to array and sort it public void addscoretoarray(int mScore){ for(int pos = 0; pos< score.length; pos++){ if(score[pos] > mScore){ //do nothing }else { //Add the score into that position score[pos] = mScore; break; } } sortArray(score); } should I call sortArray() before and after the loop to fix this problem or is there a better method to achive the same results?
