  • Change the default Junk Email folder in Outlook 2007

    An old junk mail filter program I used to use created a junk email folder. When I moved from Outlook 2003 to 2007, Outlook created a new folder called Junk Email1. Now, after our move to a new Exchange server, I now have a "Junk Email" folder and the existing "Junk Email1" folder. Is there a way to change the default Outlook Junk Email folder back to "Junk Email"?

  • deallocated memory in tableview: message sent to deallocated instance

    I tried looking up other issues but couldn't find anything to match so here goes: I'm trying to display text in the table view so I use this bit of code: // StockData is an object I created and it pulls information from Yahoo APIs based on // a stock ticker stored in NSString *heading NSArray* tickerValues = [heading componentsSeparatedByString:@" "]; StockData *chosenStock = [[StockData alloc] initWithContents:[tickerValues objectAtIndex:0]]; [chosenStock getData]; // Set up the cell... NSDictionary *tempDict = [chosenStock values]; NSArray *tempArr = [tempDict allValues]; cell.textLabel.text = [tempArr objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]; return cell; This is all under cellForRowAtIndexPath When I try to release the chosenStock object though I get this error: [CFDictionary release]: message sent to deallocated instance 0x434d3d0 Ive tried using NSZombieEnabled and Build and Analyze to detect problems but no luck thus far. Ive even gone so far as to comment bits and pieces of the code with NSLog but no luck. I'll post the code for StockData below this. As far as I can figure something is getting deallocated before I do the release but I'm not sure how. The only place I've got release in my code is under dealloc method call.   • Backups devices for Windows Server Backup and Symantec [closed]

    What is the best way to backup windows SQL, Exchange or AD servers data to? NAS, external USB , iSCSI or perhaps some other backup solution? I will not however be considering cloud backup solutions due to bandwidth restrictions and cost. Currently I find NAS devices to give the best results but clients that do not have the budget for backup software use Windows Server Backup but then they can make only 1 backup to a NAS at a time.

    As I understand, the Android phone can only sync with Google (GMail, Google Calendar, etc.) out of the box. I can imagine corporate users having a problem with their data residing on Google's servers — despite their "do no evil" credo. Is there any Android application that lets you sync with the desktop (either Linux or Windows) or corporate server applications (think Exchange)?

  • Where do Client-only rules execute on a single profile with multiple Outlooks open?

    I have two outlooks 2007 open on two different machines logged in to the same account. The issue is I have is with client-only rules for sound alerts executing intermittently. All other rules work correctly, because they are run on the Exchange Server, but the client-only ones seem to pick and choose when to produce sounds. Is there something I can do to make my client-only rules run reliably on one particular instance of outlook?

  • Android TimePicker hour field disappears after orientation change

    I am using a TimePicker under API 1.5 and when the orientation is changed on my device (a stock G1 running 1.6 - though NOT on the 1.5/1.6 emulator), the hour field goes blank. It still remembers the hour, it just doesn't show it. Is there any workaround for this?   • How do I exclude an Outlook folder form Windows Search Index in Windows 7?

    I have a pretty big (~30GB) email archive (Outlook + Exchange: .ost file) and I would like to use the Outlook Search Feature (Windows Search technology). I would like to exclude some folders from the indexing (at least the "spam" folder!) but it seems there is no option for that in the standard configurations. Is there any other way (registries, etc) that can I accomplish this? I am using Windows 7 and Outlook 2007. Thanks!

  • How to convert an Outlook 2007 .ost file to a .pst file, so I can open it in another, local computer?

    I have a couple of backed up .pst and .ost files that were used with a server that is not accessible anymore. On my local machine, I was able to Add... the .pst file to my fresh Outlook 2007 and access the emails. However, adding an .ost file does not seem to be an options in the Accounts Settings dialog. Is it possible to import the .ost file, or convert it to a .pst w/o the aid of the exchange server?

    For my year-end pet project, I'd like to analyze investment advices and their correlation to the stock market performance. The problem is, where do I get the dump of investment advice data (free) ? something like stackoverflow.com data dump will be nice. Or maybe it's easier to do distributed crawling and crawl the public finance webpages for investment advices? Investment advice is buy/sell advice for stocks/forex, issued by institution/investment advisor.
