  Im building an iphone radio application and I want to have the controls, play, pause, stop, etc. in a tool bar (a custom view controller) at the bottom of the application. I want to keep this there throughout all the views so you can control the audio while navigating through the other parts of the application (multiple view/table controllers). Is there a way to create a view that stays in place like a tab bar?

  I frequently create (and inherit) small to medium websites where I have the following sort of code in a single file (normally named global.js or application.js or projectname.js). If functions get big, I normally put them in a seperate file, and call them at the bottom of the file below in the $(document).ready() section. If I have a few functions that are unique to certain pages, I normally have another switch statement for the body class inside the $(document).ready() section. How could I restructure this code to make it more maintainable? Note: I am less interested in the functions innards, more so the structure, and how different types of functions should be dealt with.   Hi, I have a VerticalFieldManager that takes all my screen, and I want to put an HorizontalFieldmanager at the bottom of the screen (menu bar that appear and disappear like the WeatherEye menu bar) that overlay the VerticalFieldManager. Any idea? I think it's something with overwriting the paint or sublayout methods but I have no clue how to implement this...   I want a certain file (only this!) to remove the php extension for calling it. BUT: It uses get parameters and they should remain! I tried it with my .htaccess and something like: RewriteEngine on followed by either RewriteRule ^file(.*)$ file.php$1 or RewriteRule ^file(.+)$ file.php$1 but it doesn't work. (First gives error 500, second gives 404) Example what I want to call in the browser: file?param=asd&foo=bar - It should call as: file.php?param=asd&foo=bar
