    Amazon AWS sent me an email about warning that my instance have been behaving like Phising that is against AWS Customer Agreement. And they noticed that they blocked port 80 and 443 which are for HTTP and HTTPS respectively. Google Safe Browsing also reported that some code injection was made to one of my websites. After a cleaning, Google stopped blocking my website displaying in the search result. So, how can I unblock my ports?

    We recently moved from a traditional Data Center to cloud computing on AWS. We are developing a product in partnership with another company, and we need to create a database server for the product we'll release. I have been using Amazon Web Services for the past 3 years, but this is the first time I received a spec with this very specific hardware configuration. I know there are trade-offs and that real hardware will always be faster than virtual machines, and knowing that fact forehand, what would you recommend? 1) Amazon EC2? 2) Amazon RDS? 3) Something else? 4) Forget it baby, stick to the real hardware Here is the hardware requirements This server will be focused on I/O and MySQL for the statistics, memory size and disk space for the images hosting. Server 1 I/O The very main part on this server will be I/O processing, FusionIO cards have proven themselves extremely efficient, this is currently the best you can have in this domain. o Fusion ioDrive2 MLC 365GB (http://www.fusionio.com/load/-media-/1m66wu/docsLibrary/FIO_ioDrive2_Datasheet.pdf) CPU MySQL will use less CPU cores than Apache but it will use them very hard, the E7 family has 30M Cache L3 wichi provide boost performance : o 1x Intel E7-2870 will be ok.   • Xfce power manager warns HAL daemon is not running, no keyboard on startup on Ubuntu

    I changed my grub boot options to add "vga=0x323" to them to resolve some issues with corrupted display during startup/shutdown on my laptop. The next time I booted the system up, I got a warning over the login screen saying Xfce Power Manager HAL Daemon not running The keyboard and mouse are unresponsive. After a minute or so, they start to work and the system functions as normal. How can I solve this?

    I installed Debian Squeeze 2.6 (on a recently bought server) with a software RAID1. During installation I installed GRUB loader (1.9 version). System boots OK with GRAB loader BUT right after authorization it cannot execute GRUB command (I want to copy the GRUB from the SDA to SDB). System warning right after GRUB command invocation looks as: root@servername:~# grub -bash: grub: command not found How it could be? (GRUB already installed and no any other OS was installed at all)

Spend literally all day trying to figure it out, but I'm still unable to neither send nor receive any emails. To my knowledge, I have configured everything correctly, so either there is another problem, or my knowledge isn't good enough.     I'm not able to run a PHP enabled web site under Apache on Windows XP if the path to DOCUMENT_ROOT contains accented letters. I'm not referring to the script file names themselves but to any folder in the path components.   • 403 Forbidden Error when trying to view localhost on Apache

    I think my Apache must be all screwed up. I don't know if it ever worked. I just upgraded to Snow Leopard, and the first step on this tutorial is to start apache and check that it's working by opening http://localhost. It starts fine but when I go to localhost I get a 403 forbidden error. I don't know where to start figuring out how to fix it, so I wonder if a fresh install of Apache would do the trick. What do you think? Update: I found some error logs in /private/var/log/apache2/. Found this in one of the logs. After removing the old virtual hosts, adding my new localhost virtual host, and restarting apache, it seems to work. So I guess whenever I want to add a virtual host, I only need to add them to this file? Or is there a hosts file somewhere, like there is on Linux? Update: Yes, there is an /etc/hosts file that need to be changed to. Add the virtual host name to that file.

    I see a warning in my Win7 Events Log: The time service has not synchronized the system time for 86400 seconds because none of the time service providers provided a usable time stamp. The message suggests that I run: w32tm /resync When I try to run that command, I get an error: The following error occurred: The specified module could not be found. <0x8007007E I can run w32tm with no arguments and get the expected list of w32tm commands, so the program is accessable and runs. Any help is greatly appreciated.
