  • Quarter as a Count variable in SAS.

    Hye Guys, I'm busy working on a time series and am trying to find the commands that allow me to insert a quarter count variable. To keep things simple, the third quarter of 1995 (date my observations start) should be quarter -2, the fourth quarter of 1995 should be -1 etc etc uptill 2006 (should be somewhere around 45 by then). My dates are in date9 format, such as 20JUN04 etc.. Anyone who can help me with the commands I need t o let this work in SAS? Thanks

  • Do I need to keep "recompiling" my iPhone app code everytime apple releases a new iOS version?

    New here guys but have got a genuine problem. I have an iPhone app that was developed using SDK4. With apple introducing the new iOS version 6, does my code need to be recompiled on the new SDK to make it compatible with version 6? Right now it crashes on iOS6. Also, do I need to do that everytime apple brings out a new version? I wonder every other app on earth already does that ?! Thanks, Raghav

    Hi Guys, I have tried to implement Drupal connect with facebook functionality via fbconnect module. I have installed and set up the plugin. When I click on the facebook button the new popup window is opened and it requires my facebook credentials. After I enter those, instead of just simply logging in to my site, drupal asks of me to create a new account for drupal. Is there any way to just connect with my facebook account without creating a new one on the drupal site. Regardz, Mladjo

    Hey guys, I'm using Nokogiri to parse a return from the Rackspace API so I'm using their sample code to response = server.get '/customers/'[email protected]_id.to_s+'/domains/', server.xml_format doc = Nokogiri::XML::parse response.body puts "xpath values" doc.xpath("//name").each do |node| puts node.text end As my code to use Nokogiri to return the nodelist of nodes of the element for some reason I seem to have missed something obvious and I just for the life of me cannot get it to parse the list of nodes and return them to me, is there something simple I can do to fix to have it return the list of nodes?   • No cursor when resizing datagridview c#

    HI guys, When im trying to resize datagridview columns the resize cursor appears only when i roll over header. However, when i roll over in between cells, resize cursor doesnt show at all. I have noticed if i set ColumnHeadersVisible = false it fixes the problem and i see resize cursor between columns. However, i need header to be visible, any idea how to make it work all together? My problem is: For my current project I want my client file to request data from a PHP script with the help of AJAX XmlHttpRequest and the POST method: function xmlRequestNotes() { var parameter = 'p=1234'; xmlhttp = new XMLHttpRequest(); xmlhttp.open("POST", url, true); // Http Header xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"); xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Content-length", parameter.length); xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Connection", "close"); xmlhttp.onreadystatechange=function() { if (xmlhttp.readyState==4 && xmlhttp.status==200) { json = JSON.parse(xmlhttp.responseText); // Doing Stuff with the Response } }; xmlhttp.send(parameter); } This works perfectly fine on my local server set up in XAMPP and the local Widget emulator. But if it gets onto the device (also with access to the target network) I receive the 101 Network Error. And as far as I have read, this is due to the "Same-Origin Policy" of XmlHttpRequests? My problem is to really understand that. Although the idea of this policy is clear to me, I'm a bit confused by the fact that another XmlHttpRequest for a Yahoo Weather XML Feed works fine. Now, could anyone be so helpful to enlighten me? If you have signed up on aadvark - when any question is posted in your area of expertise - there will be nice pop-up in ur gtalk window asking if you are interested in answering - if you say Yes - it will ask you the question and you can answer in that window itself.
