  • DI-524UP will become deadly slow when downloading torrents

    I have a DI-524UP router that shares internet to two notebooks at home via wireless and a desktop via wired collection. It will become barely available/pingable via wireless when I download torrents on a desktop computer. Even when I limit download speed to 20% or less of available bandwidth - it must be something else, not the speed that causes the issue. I've tried limiting number of active connections and stuff but it will still not cure. Is there anything I can do about this?

Edit: The thinking is that I have one mac update itself using Software Update, and then somehow share the downloaded updates with other macs.     Hello, some files on Mac OS X (such as .bundle or .mpkg) are considered directories in Windows, but can be used as files on Mac OS X (if you double-click them on Mac OSX, they execute for example), so the problem I have is that I want Mac users to download a .mpkg file from my server, but the problem is IIS considers it a directory and therefore you can't download it. How can I let IIS treat this .mpkg as a file instead of a directory? Thanks!

I usually use unrax but lately with all these .rar files, the cool zip extractor is not very helpful right now. The biggest peeve is: Any file downloaded from IE is never saved to disk. IE shows the entire download progress bar and at the end of download, no file is saved anywhere on the disk!
