  What are the processes I need to go through to make sure emails sent from my web server are not rejected as spam? This question is for legitimate site emails that members have requested like a daily newsletter which is generated and run in a nightly process, as well as confirmation emails. Some of the ideas I've heard are: Making sure the server sending the mail has reverse-dns lookup turned on. Manually submitting a whitelist request to major ISPs.

  My project was originally set to Binary Compatibility, but it was not building. So I first set it to No Compatibility, it built fine that way. Then I set it back to Binary Compatibility, and overwrote over the previously generated file, it worked fine. Why does this have to happen?

  Good day, I'm using a SQLDataSource with a dynamic query generated c#, based on user choices in many fields. However, since our tables are very large, sometimes, I get a command timeout exception. I tried to set the property in 'Selecting' of the SqlDataSource like so: protected void SqlDataSource_PSearch_Selecting(object sender, SqlDataSourceSelectingEventArgs e) { e.Command.CommandTimeout = 900; } but with not luck, like if this attribute was ignored. .NET 2.0, Sql server 2005. Any idea?

  Hello, I have the exact problem of not getting any webcatalog entry for a webpart if i deploy via stsadm. The project of this webpart is generated with vsewss and build with it. The very webpart entry can be accessed if its deployed through vsewss' "deploy" command.   I have designed a report in iReport and now I am using it in my application. The problem is that the report is generated showing all the data except the detail section data. There is no database connectivity problem, as the column header shows data which is coming from database. Only the detail section of the report shows nothing, neither data from database nor any static data. What is going on?

• Django forms "not" using forms from models

  I have a form generated from various models and the various values filled go and sit in some other table. Hence, in this case I haven't used the inbuilt Django forms(i.e. I am not creating forms from models ). Now the data which is posted from the self made form is handled by view1 which should clean the data accordingly. How do I go about it and use the various functions clean and define validation errors (and preferably not do validation logic in the view itself!)

  I’m trying to embed some JARs into single OSGi bundle using the feature of maven-bundle-plugin The thing that worries me is that all packages of embedded JARs are put into the Import-Package header of the generated MANIFEST.MF. If I specify explicitly to use only the packages I need, like in the following snippet: Import-Package: org.osgi.framework The build fails with BND error (unresolved references). So, the question here is how can I build the bundle with embedded JARs with "Import-Package" header I need?
