Can't add libraries to Eclipse Android project

I'm trying to get the Hackbook for Android project to work in Eclipse. One of the things I need to do is remove that invalid reference and include that project I made. I did this before, but then I started over and now it doesn't work. Here is where I add the project. If I click "Apply" and then "OK" everything seems to be fine, but it isn't, because when I go back to this screen, none of the changes I made are there. Why isn't it saving my changes? How am I supposed to do this?

I have created a dll in C++ using a Class Library project in Visual Studio. I need to call a method in the dll from a C# application. I got to know there are 2 approches. One is to add the dll project reference to C# project or use DllExport to export method. However when I tried in both ways it always gives the following error when the dll method is called in runtime. An unhandled exception of type 'System.BadImageFormatException' occurred in TestClient.exe Additional information: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B) Can i know how to avoid this problem ? Thanks in advance!

Project-wide additional library paths -- MSVS2008

Hi there. I'm setting up a VC++ project in MS Visual Studio 2008 that'll be used by several people. I wanted to keep things as simple as possible so I've set up Additional Include Directories via the Project properties. I've also set up additional library files via Tools - Options - Projects and Solutions - VC++ Directories. However, my issue is that I really need to set up Additional library PATHs, because I am using an SDK which does inline linking of libraries. I could just tell each one of the participants to manually add the library path to their MSVS2008 environment, but it would be handy if I could integrate the RELATIVE library path in the project itself.

Adding packages from different SVN repositories in a single project

Hello all I am trying to create a project whose source code comes from 2 different SVN repositories. When I do the svn co pathToRepoA currentDirectory to checkout all the code from the 1st repo, it runs fine. Now, when I try to checkout some specific packages from the 2nd repo by doing svn co pathToRepoB/src/main/java/somespecificpackage currentDirectory/src/main/java/nameOfNewPackage into the same project, it gives me an error that the current directory is already a working directory of a different URL (which is an obvious error). How do I overcome this problem so that I can integrate code (some specific packages) from different repositories into a single project. Thanks!

Hi, I'm pretty new to android, and just finished setup my environment and reading some tutorials. Then I got sdk samples from the web. Okay, what I wanna ask you is that is there a way to start a sample as a project in the Eclipse? I mean like clicking a project file in c# or a solution file. Here is my folder which I unzipped the code, \android-sdk-windows\samples\android-8\NotePad There are three folders and one file in the folder, \res, \src, \tests, and AndroidManifest.xml Or, do I need to make a new android project and import (or add files? maybe) them? using "Reference3 Interface" to add desired references to a project

Adding references to the project by right clicking on the References in the porject and choosing add reference is a pain. so I was wondering if I can take advantage of something like what I posted the link to it and have a small program,add-in,macro, etc! that we can give it a list of the references that I want and it will add them to the project.

Hello, I'm creating this (big?) project in high school where I'm programming the game Shithead (card game) (so that two people can play against eachother). I'll use mostly PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and Ajax. But I have never made a project like this before. I have only made like CMS-systems and so on. Do you guys have any tips on how I should structure this project? I'm also not so used to Object-oriented programming, but I guess I should consider this. Should I, for example, make a class for the cards? I'm very thankful for any tips or good links!

I sometimes find it's easier to create a new project from scratch in other IDEs simply because its often more difficult to understand and tweak the generated template code than it is to write the code you need from scratch. Do seasoned iPhone developers still use templates when creating new projects? How difficult is it to add functionality to a template project that isn't initially included in the template? For example, if I don't check the "Use Core Data" option when creating a new project, how difficult does that make it to use Core Data later on if I changed my mind?

Now if you web.config show you assembly version as 3.000.00 then 3 would be replaced with 4 or 5 according to version no. Same thing need to applied all dll for both web.config. Note :- In VS Template Views goes in ~/Views folder but if someone use any other folder then Views for views and those folder have also web.config then remember to update them also. Your project will be compile and make no warning and error but that certainly not work. for examples areas/views and themes/views that contain web.config also need to be updated with newer assembly version no. Proper line-ending for an open-source PHP project

What is the proper line-ending preferences for an open-source web project? Obviously it includes source code of PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript. The source code is managing via Github now, and there are Windows (8 & 7), Linux (Ubuntu) and OSX developers inside the team, which means all the major operating systems. P.S. We are using "Windows" CRLF line-ending, plus "UTF-8 without BOM" right now, without facing any problem, however I think it might be better to use "*nix/OSX" LF style. I heard some stories about the problems that caused by the additional "CR" on Linux or OS X.

Vagrant is creating files and folders in my project

Seemingly random 404's for static files in Pyramid project

I'm running a Pyramid project with mod_wsgi. Some of the files in my static directory (images, stylesheets, javascript) load fine, but others are coming up as not found. The files that are not working are all web fonts (otf, svg, woff and eot). I tried adding a text file into the static directory where the fonts are to see if I could access it, but it also came back with 404. The same text file also can't be accessed when put in the images folder. From what I'm looking at, it doesn't seem to be a permissions issue. Any ideas?

Apache user owns git project root, with git-http-backend setup, but still having permissions problems

I've setup git-http-backend on my vps server (CentOS), under one of its users. The apache user owns the git project root directory - /home/theuser/git/, as below: drwxrwxr-x 3 apache apache The apache user also owns everything inside that directory. But I'm still getting the following error in git when trying to push: error: unpack failed: unpack-objects abnormal exit The apache error log shows the following error: error: insufficient permission for adding an object to repository database ./objects I've tried every combination of user permissions and enabled read/write access, but not getting anywhere. Should the git user own this folder? Can someone explain exactly what user should own this folder, or what steps I might take to fix this problem?

Devices menu - project to second screen with only one monitor

So I made a huge blunder. In the devices menu on Windows 8, I selected to project to a second screen only on accident. I had two monitors connected but only the primary one was actually displaying anything. So I projected it and now I can't access anything. The primary screen will show the windows icon when it loads, but then it disappears and I can't login or anything. Surely there's a way to get it back on the primary screen? Thanks a bunch. I'm really lost..

Getting a null reference exception exporting a slightly complex rdlc report to excel

Have an issue in exporting a slightly complex report to excel from an rdlc. Exporting a simple tabular report works fine, but getting a null reference exception with a more complex one. As is usually the case, it works on the server in the development environment, but not in the test environment. The server in the development environment has iis, sql and sql reporting services on it and test only has iis (I didn't set them up). I'm guessing there is something that gets installed with SSRS that is not installed with just the report viewer. Can't obtain reference to EKReminder array retrieved from fetchRemindersMatchingPredicate

When I create an NSPredicate via EKEventStore predicateForRemindersInCalendars; and pass it to EKEventStore fetchRemindersMatchingPredicate:completion:^ I can loop through the reminders array provided by the completion code block, but when I try to store a reference to the reminders array, or create a copy of the array into a local variable or instance variable, both array's remain empty. The reminders array is never copied to them. This is the method I am using, in the method, I create a predicate, pass it to the event store and then loop through all of the reminders logging their title via NSLog. I can see the reminder titles during runtime thanks to NSLog, but the local arrayOfReminders object is empty. I also try to add each reminder into an instance variable of NSMutableArray, but once I leave the completion code block, the instance variable remains empty. Am I missing something here? Can someone please tell me why I can't grab a reference to all of the reminders for use through-out the app? Namespaces and Sub-Namespaces and the libraries they reference in C#

Can I have namespace somenamespace { //references functionality in DLL_1 namespace somesubnamespace { //references functionality in DLL_2 } } And if I do this, when I use just somenamespace, will it only include DLL_1 in the solution and if I use somenamespace.somesubnamespace will it include DLL_1 and DLL_2 in the solution? Or are DLL_1 and DLL_2 set on the project that contains the namespace and no matter which I use, both DLLs will be copied?

I have an ASP.NET MVC application with a separate project added for tests. I know the plusses and minuses of using the connection to the database when running unit tests, and I still want to use it. Yet, every time when I run the tests with the NUnit tool, they all fail due to my Data Context being null. I heard something about having a separate config file for the tests assembly, but i am not sure whether I did it properly, or whether that works at all.

VSDBCMD returns "An unexpected failure occurred: Object reference not set to an instance of an objec

I have been succesfully using the command line database deployment tool VSDBCMD on my dev and test environments but the tool fails in our integration environmrnt. I am using the VS 2010 version of the tool. The servers have all of the prerequisites including: .net 4.0 sql server compact edition 3.5 sp1 (as well as the full edition of 2008) sql server 2008 server management objects sql server 2008 native client sql server system clr types msxml 6 all of the dependent DLLs included in: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition\v3.5\desktop*.dll C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition\v3.5*.dll C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VSTSDB\Deploy**. The only reference to this error that I have been able to find has to do with a bug in the VS 2008 edition when the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0 key is missing. In my case the 10.0 version of the key exists. Has anyone else encountered this?

A simple augmented reality application in C#

After some thought, I figured that an Augmented Reality related project will be the most beneficial for me because of the following reasons: I haven't tried interfacing a program with a live video/camera feed I haven't done any "image processing" project I haven't done any "graphics rendering" ever With that said, you can assume that I will totally suck at AR. So I'm here to ask for some advice regarding the best way to go through this. st milestone project that I am thinking of is to take a cheap webcam and read some Data Matrix using C#. nd milestone project will render some text-overlay on the feed when presented with a certain Data Matrix. rd milestone project will actually render some 3D shapes. I've searched all-around and found some nice yet advanced materials for AR: http://sites.google.com/site/augmentedrealitytestingsite/ http://soldeveloper.com/ http://www.mperfect.net/wpfAugReal/ So I came here to ask the following: Do you think my milestone is reasonable given my "deficiencies"?
