    assuming a yield of 3 per hour, that's 83000 hours. 8 hours a day makes 10,500 days, divide by thirty to get 342 mythical man months. I call them mythical because writing 125 tests per person per week is unreal. can any wise soul out there on SO shed some light on what sort of mythical men write unreal quantities of tests for large software projects? thank you.

    http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/models/fields/#choices i've read through the documentation and this implies using a database table for dynamic data, however it states choices is meant for static data that doesn't change much, if ever. so what if i want to use choices, but have it select multiple because the data i'm using is quite static, e.g days of the week. is there anyway to achieve this without a database table?

  • Scheduled Task: Directory cleanup using windows batch script

    I have a shared disk that I would like to clean up once per week using a scheduled task of some sort. I would like to use a batch script so that the system admins can easily modify it or reuse it on other directories when needed. The directory has files with multiple file extensions but the ones that need to be deleted end in .bkf and must be over 2 weeks old. Does anyone have a batch script solution for this windows server (not sure which version)?

    I just ran Google's Page Speed application against our site and one of the recommendations was to Leverage browser caching. Expanding this revealed the following: The following cacheable resources have a short freshness lifetime: Specify an expiration at least one week in the future for the following resources: <a long list of images > <some javascript files > How do I go about lengthening the "freshness lifetime" of particular images?   • Setting up httpd.conf / mod_rewrite to redirect to codeigniter?

    I'm sorry to ask this here, as I'm sure the solution is fairly easy but for the life of my I can't setup httpd.conf on my apache server to automatically load the code_igniter files. Instead I'm having to go into the folder itself localhost/trunk/etc/etc until I get index.php - which messes with some of the relative paths (our backend coder is gone for the week so I can't ask him, but he has already setup the rewrite rules on our development server).

  • a value that shows in select mode disappears in edit mode from a gridview column
