  I have a WinForm program that checks a database for changes, and if there are any, it will open another WinForm telling the user what is happening (the popup WinForm has some special functionality making a MessageBox insufficient for this task). Each time one of these popup WinForms shows up, a new icon shows up in the system tray and does not go away even if you hover over it (this isn't a tray refresh issue). What I'm wondering is how to get the popup WinForm to display no tray icon at all.

  I have a java class that uses complex static fields which need special operations as close() so that they are safely cleaned by GC. For the initialization of static fields I use the static block. But I don't now how to unload the static field safely, so that I can call the close() method before the field is cleaned up by GC. • django custom management command does not show up in production

  I wrote a custom management command for django. Locally with my dev settings everything works fine. Now I deployed my project onto the production server and the management command does not show up, respectively is not available. But I did not get an error message deploying the project (syncdb). Any ideas where I could try to begin to search? Is there a special command that all custom management commands are "autodiscovered"?

  hi all, I have some .rst files and I convert them to .tex file using standard sphinx converter. but in some .rst I have tables with special width like: .. list-table:: :widths: 50 50 but resulting .tex always contains tables like: \begin{tabulary}{\textwidth}{|L|L|} so, column width is lost. how can I preserve column width when converting rst to latex?

The Java tutorial says this: Additionally, the dollar sign character, by convention, is never used at all. You may find some situations where auto-generated names will contain the dollar sign, but your variable names should always avoid using it. However, since this is geared toward Java beginners, I'm wondering if in the distributed world, the $ lives on with a special meaning.

  After many hours, I have discovered that the given udp server needs the following steps for a successful communication: 1- Send "Start Message" on a given port 2- Wait to receive from server on any port 3- Then the port dedicated to you to send further data to the server equals the port you have received on it + 1 So I am asking if this kind is a known protocol/handshaking, or it is only special to this server??   I have an app with a tab bar, and nav controllers in each tab. When user shakes the device, a UIImageView appears as a child view in the nav controller. But the UIImageView must contain a special image, depending on the device's current orientation. That said, I believe I understand the fundamental difference between data, information, and knowledge. My understanding is that information carries both data and meaning.
