    Hi folks. I'm just putting together a simple nav bar using something similar to this tutorial: http://www.cssnewbie.com/horizontal-dropdown-menus/ The thing is, that I'd like to have the children lists first item to line up directly below the parent. Right now, they just go wherever I float them. Is there a way to do this without absolute positioning?     Hey Guys We have a nasty little problem. In short we can detect if a screen is connect when x11 boots (we do this by looking at the log - Xorg.0.log), but we are having trouble detect when are screen is disconnected while the machine is running (ie post x11 boot) Any one have any ideas? Cheers

    In dojo, one cannot call a overidden superclass method outside of the same method in the derived class (for which there is this.inherited(), other than that one can call using class_name.function_name.apply). This feature is no longer there because of some refactoring and dojo guys are not going to put it back because they are not convinced about a good enough case for this. Please read this mail thread for details. Isn't there a good enough case for this functionality? Why or why not?

    I've seen questions to prefix zeros here in SO. But not the other way !! Can you guys suggest me how to remove the leading zeros in alphanumeric text. Are there any built-in APIs or do I need to write a method to trim the leading zero's?
