    - by booota
    Okay I have this ajax call $('.updatecom .registercomplaint').click(function(){ updatecomplaints(); }); This calls the function updatecomplaints() function updatecomplaints() { var tno = $(".updatecom #tno").val(); var status = $(".updatecom #status").val(); if(status=='DONE') { $(".updatecom #con").val(''); } var tname = $(".updatecom #tname").val(); var rg11 = $(".updatecom #crg11").val(); var rg06 = $(".updatecom #crg06").val(); var tvpins = $(".updatecom #tvpins").val(); var jointer = $(".updatecom #jointer").val(); var cquantity = $(".updatecom #conqty").val(); var nooftv = $(".updatecom #tvno").val(); var misc = $(".updatecom #misc").val(); var tcomments = $(".updatecom #tcomments").val(); var con = $(".updatecom #con").val(); //alert(tno+status+tname+rg11+rg06+tvpins+jointer+cquantity+nooftv+misc+tcomments+con); $.ajax( { type: "POST", url: "up_functions.php", data: "ticket="+ tno +"& opt=upcom" +"& status="+ status +"& tname="+ tname +"& rg11="+ rg11 +"& rg06="+ rg06 +"& tvpins="+ tvpins +"& jointer="+ jointer +"& cquantity="+ cquantity +"& nooftv="+ nooftv +"& misc="+ misc +"& tcomments="+ tcomments +"& con="+ con, success: function(response) { alert(response); } }); } here is my up_functions.php $tno = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['ticket'])); $status = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['status'])); $tname = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['tname'])); $rg11 = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['rg11'])); $rg06 = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['rg06'])); $tvpins = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['tvpins'])); $jointer = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['jointer'])); $cquantity = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['cquantity'])); $nooftv = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['nooftv'])); $misc = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['misc'])); $tcomments = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['tcomments'])); $con = htmlspecialchars(trim($_REQUEST['con'])); $result=$ptr-upcomticketinfo($tno,$status,$tname,$rg11,$rg06,$tvpins,$jointer,$cquantity,$nooftv,$misc,$tcomments,$con); echo $result; and here is my upconticketinfo() php function function upcomticketinfo($tno,$status,$tname,$rg11,$rg06,$tvpins,$jointer,$cquantity,$nooftv,$misc,$tcomments,$con) { if($con!='' || $con!=NULL) { $this-query = "update booking discription set STATUS='$status',CLOSED ON='$con' where TICKET NO='$tno'"; $this-q_result = mysql_query($this-query,$this-conn) or die(mysql_error()); if($this-q_result) { $query = "update tech detail set TECH NAME='$tname',CABLE RG11='$rg11',CABLE RG06='$rg06',TV PINS USED='$tvpins',JOINTER USED='$jointer',CONNECTOR QTY='$cquantity',NO OF TV='$nooftv',MISC='$misc',TECH COMMENTS='$tcomments' where BOOKING='$tno'"; $q_result = mysql_query($query,$this-conn) or die(mysql_error()); if($q_result) { $response = "updated"; } else { $response = "error"; } } else { $response = "error"; } } else { $this-query = "update booking discription set STATUS='$status' where TICKET NO='$tno'"; $this-q_result = mysql_query($this-query,$this-conn) or die(mysql_error()); if($this-q_result) { $query = "update tech detail set TECH NAME='$tname',CABLE RG11='$rg11',CABLE RG06='$rg06',TV PINS USED='$tvpins',JOINTER USED='$jointer',CONNECTOR QTY='$cquantity',NO OF TV='$nooftv',MISC='$misc',TECH COMMENTS='$tcomments' where BOOKING='$tno'"; $q_result = mysql_query($query,$this-conn) or die(mysql_error()); if($q_result) { $response = "updated"; } else { $response = "error"; } } else { $response = "error"; } } return $response; } Question is that, this code is working just fine in IE8 i.e i am using... but it is not working in FF 3.6.3... I have checked each n everything... One thing is that the code works fine on FF too only when i debug the page with firebug debugger. Otherwise the alert in ajax success shows itself with nothing in it... Help me... Goto link text Enter 6628 in the Ticket No. box under Update Complaint Status section... A new form will open. In that form press update... Try it in FF and IE... IE8 shows the results as needed but FF does not...

  • Upload Certificate and Key to RUEI in order to decrypt SSL traffic

    - by stefan.thieme(at)oracle.com
So you want to monitor encrypted traffic with your RUEI collector ?Actually this is an easy thing if you follow the lines below...I will start out with creating a pair of snakeoil (so called self-signed) certificate and key with the make-ssl-cert tool which comes pre-packaged with apache only for the purpose of this example.$ sudo make-ssl-cert generate-default-snakeoil$ sudo ls -l /etc/ssl/certs/ssl-cert-snakeoil.pem /etc/ssl/private/ssl-cert-snakeoil.key-rw-r--r-- 1 root root     615 2010-06-07 10:03 /etc/ssl/certs/ssl-cert-snakeoil.pem-rw-r----- 1 root ssl-cert 891 2010-06-07 10:03 /etc/ssl/private/ssl-cert-snakeoil.keyRUEI Configuration of Security SSL Keys You will most likely get these two files from your Certificate Authority (CA) and/or your system administrators should be able to extract this from your WebServer or LoadBalancer handling SSL encryption for your infrastructure. Now let's look at the content of these two files, the certificate (apache assumes this is in PEM format) is called a public key and the private key is used by the apache server to encrypt traffic for a client using the certificate to initiate the SSL connection with the server. In case you already know that these two match, you simply have to paste them in one text file and upload this text file to your RUEI instance.$ sudo cat /etc/ssl/certs/ssl-cert-snakeoil.pem /etc/ssl/private/ssl-cert-snakeoil.key > /tmp/ruei.cert_and_key$ sudo cat /tmp/ruei.cert_and_key -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- MIIBmTCCAQICCQD7O3XXwVilWzANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQUFADARMQ8wDQYDVQQDEwZ1 YnVudHUwHhcNMTAwNjA3MDgwMzUzWhcNMjAwNjA0MDgwMzUzWjARMQ8wDQYDVQQD EwZ1YnVudHUwgZ8wDQYJKoZIhvcNAQEBBQADgY0AMIGJAoGBALbs+JnI+p+K7Iqa SQZdnYBxOpdRH0/9jt1QKvmH68v81h9+f1Z2rVR7Zrd/l+ruE3H9VvuzxMlKuMH7 qBX/gmjDZTlj9WJM+zc0tSk+e2udy9he20lGzTxv0vaykJkuKcvSWNk4WE9NuAdg IHZvjKgoTSVmvM1ApMCg69nyOy97AgMBAAEwDQYJKoZIhvcNAQEFBQADgYEAk2rv VEkxR1qPSpJiudDuGUHtWKBKWiWbmSwI3REZT+0vG+YDG5a55NdxgRk3zhQntqF7 gNYjKxblBByBpY7W0ci00kf7kFgvXWMeU96NSQJdnid/YxzQYn0dGL2rSh1dwdPN NPQlNSfnEQ1yxFevR7aRdCqTbTXU3mxi8YaSscE= -----END CERTIFICATE----- -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY----- MIICXgIBAAKBgQC27PiZyPqfiuyKmkkGXZ2AcTqXUR9P/Y7dUCr5h+vL/NYffn9W dq1Ue2a3f5fq7hNx/Vb7s8TJSrjB+6gV/4Jow2U5Y/ViTPs3NLUpPntrncvYXttJ Rs08b9L2spCZLinL0ljZOFhPTbgHYCB2b4yoKE0lZrzNQKTAoOvZ8jsvewIDAQAB AoGBAJ7LCWeeUwnKNFqBYmD3RTFpmX4furnal3lBDX0945BZtJr0WZ/6N679zIYA aiVTdGfgjvDC9lHy3n3uctRd0Jqdh2QoSSxNBhq5elIApNIIYzu7w/XI/VhGcDlA b6uadURQEC2q+M8YYjw3mwR2omhCWlHIViOHe/9T8jfP/8pxAkEA7k39WRcQildH DFKcj7gurqlkElHysacMTFWf0ZDTEUS6bdkmNXwK6mH63BlmGLrYAP5AMgKgeDf8 D+WRfv8YKQJBAMSCQ7UGDN3ysyfIIrdc1RBEAk4BOrKHKtD5Ux0z5lcQkaCYrK8J DuSldreN2yOhS99/S4CRWmGkTj04wRSnjwMCQQCaR5mW3QzTU4/m1XEQxsBKSdZE 2hMSmsCmhuSyK13Kl0FPLr/C7qyuc4KSjksABa8kbXaoKfUz/6LLs+ePXZ2JAkAv +mIPk5+WnQgS4XFgdYDrzL8HTpOHPSs+BHG/goltnnT/0ebvgXWqa5+1pyPm6h29 PrYveM2pY1Va6z1xDowDAkEAttfzAwAHz+FUhWQCmOBpvBuW/KhYWKZTMpvxFMSY YD5PH6NNyLfBx0J4nGPN5n/f6il0s9pzt3ko++/eUtWSnQ== -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY----- Simply click on the add new key and browse for the cert_and_key file on your desktop which you concatenated earlier using any text editor. You may need to add a passphrase in order to decrypt the RSA key in some cases (it should tell you BEGIN ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY in the header line). I will show you the success screen after uploading the certificate to RUEI. You may want to restart your collector once you have uploaded all the certificate/key pairs you want to use in order to make sure they get picked up asap. You should be able to see the number of SSL Connections rising in the Collector statistics screen below. The figures for decrypt errors should slowly go down and the usage figures for your encryption algortihm on the subsequent SSL Encryption screen should go up. You should be 100% sure everything works fine by now, otherwise see below to distinguish the remaining 1% from your 99% certainty.Verify Certificate and Key are matchingYou can compare the modulus of private key and public certificate and they should match in order for the key to fit the lock. You only want to make sure they both fit each other. We are actually interested only in the following details of the two files, which can be determined by using the -subject, -dates and -modulus command line switches instead of the complete -text output of the x509 certificate/rsa key contents.$ sudo openssl x509 -noout -subject -in /etc/ssl/certs/ssl-cert-snakeoil.pemsubject= /CN=ubuntu$ sudo openssl x509 -noout -dates -in /etc/ssl/certs/ssl-cert-snakeoil.pemnotBefore=Jun  7 08:03:53 2010 GMTnotAfter=Jun  4 08:03:53 2020 GMT$ sudo openssl x509 -noout -modulus -in /etc/ssl/certs/ssl-cert-snakeoil.pem Modulus=B6ECF899C8FA9F8AEC8A9A49065D9D80713A97511F4FFD8EDD502AF987EBCBFCD61F7E7F5676AD547B66B77F97EAEE1371FD56FBB3C4C94AB8C1FBA815FF8268C3653963F5624CFB3734B5293E7B6B9DCBD85EDB4946CD3C6FD2F6B290992E29CBD258D938584F4DB8076020766F8CA8284D2566BCCD40A4C0A0EBD9F23B2F7B $ sudo openssl rsa -noout -modulus -in /etc/ssl/private/ssl-cert-snakeoil.keyModulus=B6ECF899C8FA9F8AEC8A9A49065D9D80713A97511F4FFD8EDD502AF987EBCBFCD61F7E7F5676AD547B66B77F97EAEE1371FD56FBB3C4C94AB8C1FBA815FF8268C3653963F5624CFB3734B5293E7B6B9DCBD85EDB4946CD3C6FD2F6B290992E29CBD258D938584F4DB8076020766F8CA8284D2566BCCD40A4C0A0EBD9F23B2F7BAs you can see the modulus matches exactly and we have the proof that the certificate has been created using the private key. You will be able to lookup all the details including the validity dates, subject common name and the public key modulus.Capture an SSL connection using WiresharkAnd as you would have expected, looking at the low-level tcp data that has been exchanged between the client and server with a tcp-diagnostics tool (i.e. wireshark/tcpdump) you can also see the modulus in there. These were the settings I used to capture all traffic on the local loopback interface, matching the filter expression: tcp and ip and host 127.0.0.1 and port 443. This tells Wireshark to leave out any other information, I may not have been interested in showing you.

  • MOSS Upload Size?

Hi In MOSS we have done all of this to increase the file upload size, reset iis but still doesnt want to play = anyone any advice. UPDATE Just seen the Scott Gu article - http://weblogs.asp.net/pscott/archive/2009/02/26/404-errors-with-fileupload-with-iis7.aspx and JS example http://msmvps.com/blogs/cgross/archive/2009/02/25/large-files-in-sbs-2008-s-companyweb.aspx So need to say this is II6 on win2k3 Update 2 still not working at a loss anyone help? In SharePoint 3.0 Central Adminisration, Application Management tab, and Web application general settings configure the Maximum upload size to a maximum of 2047 MB. - We set ours to 250MB In Internet Information Services on the properties of the virtual server increase the Connection Timeout to greater than default 120 seconds depending on the time to upload large files in your environment for example, 360 seconds. - We set ours to 600 Secs Configure the web.config for the _layouts web.config with On the SharePoint server change C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\web.config with an executionTimeout appropriate for the file size you are uploading. • A Firefox extension for scan & upload document?

    - by Ivan Petrushev
Hello, Do you know such an extension that provides easy document scanning in Firefox? We are building a web site and we want visitors to be able to upload scanned documents to it. The normal procedure for that is: Scan the document via Gimp, Photoshop or some other scanning software. Save the file. Navigate to the upload web page. Find some sort of HTML input type file on that page. Browse and find the saved file. Submit the form. I want an extension or plugin that automatize that process and do everything with 1 click - scan the document with some default settings (for example "grayscale, 300 dpi") creates temporary file, fills the page input field and deletes the temporary file after upload. I tried lots of googling but the term scan in combination with everything web-related gives zillions of virus, malware and port scanners...

  • Manage Upload Permissions, SFTP & Linux

    - by John R
I'm new to Linux. I am working with a Redhat 5.5 server and am using a Java-based SFTP script that will allow multiple users to upload text files to a server. I am undecided if each user will have a separate directory or if I will use a naming convention that includes their customer ID. The files include some personal information about their LAN settings, so I prefer to use SFTP as apposed to FTP. It is my understanding that SFTP is encrypted (Also, I have a Java class configured to upload via SFTP, so I prefer not to switch protocols unless their is a very-good reason). The prototype is for a system that will support large numbers of customers and the thought of continually adding and removing clients through the command line seems highly impractical. (Again, I am new_to/learning Linux and Redhat). What are normal conventions for giving multiple users permission to SFTP upload files with a unique username and password for each.

  • uploading large files (mp4) to IIS 7.5 gives 500 Internal Server Error

    - by dragon112
I made a website on which i need to be able to upload video files and it has worked for quite a while. However after a while it just stopped working and now it will give me the following IIS error message when i upload a video. Images do work (possibly due to their smaller size). I use an html form with PHP server sided script to upload. I have already set the user permissions for the entire inetpub to allow all actions for the IIS user. If you have any idea what it could be PLEASE tell me, have been trying to fix this for weeks now. Thanks in advance!

  • Uploading with browser makes all other browser tabs and devices disconnect

    - by fabsenet
Whenever I upload a video to YouTube all other browser tabs behave like there is no connection at all. It even affects my phone and other computers on the network therefor I think it has to do with my router. When the upload is done everything works normally again. I never observed this behavior with any other upload. My router is a Fritz!Box 7390 and my uploading PC is connected through a 1000mb/s switch (wired) to the router. Uploading through another browser does not change anything. I understand that other sites become slow as the network resources are limited, but stopping altogether feels wrong. speed.io measures for my internet connection: 40.894 Kbit/s down, 2.685 Kbit/s up, 29 ms ping, 2.048 con/m connects

  • Upload large database SQL file

    - by Devy
I've a database of more than 20Gb of size on my hard disk. What is the best way to upload it with the least (money) load possible on the server? - I'm on Windows 7. - I have FTP and SSH access on the server. I avoid using FTP because my connection cuts off a lot, I can't imagine I re-upload again the file after failing on 99%. I found some tools that split the large .sql file to small .sql files, but they didn't mention how to gather these files again into one file. Another way is to archive the big .sql file to .rar with -v option, upload them through FTP then unpack them. But unpacking will also cost, right? I know it will cost in any cases, but any best practice will be strongly appreciated.

  • linux: upload / download difference on network shares

    - by Batsu
I have a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (with SELinux) which shows significant differences of speed between download and upload (the latter significantly slower) of files shared over the LAN. The bottleneck seems to be the output of the linux machine since I have a rate around 1Mb/s when WinXP machines download files shared (using samba) by the RHEL machine uploading files from the RHEL to a WinXP's shared folder while uploading from the XP machines to linux's shares downloading XPs' shares on the RHEL any share between Windows machines only run smooth (around 50Mb/s). Since the upload from RHEL to WinXP's share is slowed too I would exclude an issue in the configuration of samba. What could possibly determine this limit in the upload speed? update: iptables doesn't show any output rule and disabling it doesn't show any noticeable difference, so I would rule out it too.

  • Uploading to YouTube makes all browser tabs and devices disconnect

  • Missed something? Cant upload files to server (permissions)

    - by Camran
I can upload files as "root" to the Ubuntu server. Then I created a user (me). Next I added the user to the group www-data. Then assigned rwx permissions to www-data. Next, when I try to upload, delete or modify files VIA FILEZILLA, I cant. But via the terminal, I can change files using sudo command. What should I do to be able to upload files without getting the "permission denied" in filezilla? If you need more input let me know. Thanks

  • Ajax Autocomplete Extender

    - by Jason Ulloa
Web.Script.Services.ScriptService()] [WebService(Namespace = "http://tempuri.org/")] [WebServiceBinding(ConformsTo = WsiProfiles.BasicProfile1_1)] public class WebService : System.Web.Services.WebService {}   Ahora si, nuestro metodo principal [WebMethod()] [System.Web.Script.Services.ScriptMethod()] public string[] PersonasInfo(string prefixText, int count) { string connstring = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["LocalSqlServer"].ConnectionString;   using (SqlConnection conn = new SqlConnection(connstring)) { SqlCommand comando = new SqlCommand("select nombre from personas where nombre LIKE '%' + @param + '%' ", conn); comando.Parameters.AddWithValue("@param", prefixText); SqlDataReader dr = default(SqlDataReader); comando.Connection.Open(); dr = comando.ExecuteReader(); List<string> items = new List<string>();   while (dr.Read()) { items.Add(dr["nombre"].ToString()); } comando.Connection.Close(); return items.

The first keynote at GIDS.Web is led by the leading Java EE and Ajax developer, speaker, and author Marty Hall. The best of India's Java and RIA programmers have learnt the subject from Marty's seminal books Core Servlets and JavaServer Pages (first and second editions), More Servlets and JavaServer Pages, and Core Web Programming (first and second editions) from Prentice Hall and Sun Microsystems Press. Marty's keynote address is a comparison of approaches to building rich Internet applications with Ajax. Marty says Ajax development is difficult, and there are several fundamentally different strategies to building Ajaxified Web applications. The keynote address will survey the three most important of these approaches: using an Ajax-enabled JavaScript library such as jQuery, Prototype, Scriptaculous, Dojo, or Ext/JS; using a Web framework such as JSF 2.0 or Struts 2 that has integrated Ajax support; using the Google Web Toolkit (GWT) to build "pure Java" Ajax applications. The talk will compare and contrast these three approaches, discussing the types of applications that fit best for each option. Over the course of the summit Marty will conduct several more sessions on "Choosing an Ajax/JavaScript Toolkit: A Comparison of the Most Popular JavaScript Libraries", "Pure Java Ajax: An Overview of GWT 2.0", "Integrated Ajax Support in JSF 2.0" and "Ajax Support in the Prototype JavaScript Library". The second keynote by the head of Adobe's Flash initiative in India, Ramesh Srinivasaraghavan, explores the state of art in web application development and identify trends that could transform the way we create and use web applications. • Problems with MVC Ajax.ActionLink and returning a PartialView

    - by mwright
I'm trying to implement a simple Ajax update using MVC and have run into an issue. My understanding of how to implement Ajax with MVC is to use an Ajax.ActionLink which allows the content to be updated based on user interaction. I have an Ajax.ActionLink that looks like the following: <%= Ajax.ActionLink("Call Ajax", "Ajax", new AjaxOptions{UpdateTargetId = "updateDiv"}) %> If, in the controller, I return a string it works fine. However, when returning a PartialView instead, nothing happens. I can step through and verify that the controller is "returning" the partial view but nothing shows up in what I'm calling the updateDiv. How can I go about determining what the problem is?

  • Why always fires OnFailure when return View() to Ajax Form ?

    - by Wahid Bitar
    I'm trying to make a log-in log-off with Ajax supported. I made some logic in my controller to sign the user in and then return simple partial containing welcome message and log-Off ActionLink my Action method looks like this : public ActionResult LogOn(LogOnModel model, string returnUrl) { if (ModelState.IsValid) { if (MembershipService.ValidateUser(model.UserName, model.Password)) { FormsService.SignIn(model.UserName, model.RememberMe); if (Request.IsAjaxRequest()) { //HERE IS THE PROBLEM :( return View("LogedInForm"); } else { if (!String.IsNullOrEmpty(returnUrl)) return Redirect(returnUrl); else return RedirectToAction("Index", "Home"); } } else { ModelState.AddModelError("", "The user name or password provided is incorrect."); if (Request.IsAjaxRequest()) { return Content("There were an error !"); } } } return View(model); } and I'm trying to return this simple partial : Welcome <b><%= Html.Encode(Model.UserName)%></b>! <%= Html.ActionLink("Log Off", "LogOff", "Account") %> and of-course the two partial are strongly-typed to LogOnModel. But if i returned View("PartialName") i always get OnFailure with status code 500. While if i returned Content("My Message") everything is going right. so please tell me why i always get this "StatusCode = 500" ??. where is the big mistake ??. By the way in my Site MasterPage i rendered partial to show long-on simple form this partial looks like this : <script type="text/javascript"> function ShowErrorMessage(ajaxContext) { var response = ajaxContext.get_response(); var statusCode = response.get_statusCode(); alert("Sorry, the request failed with status code " + statusCode); } function ShowSuccessMessage() { alert("Hey everything is OK!"); } </script> <div id="logedInDiv"> </div> <% using (Ajax.BeginForm("LogOn", "Account", new AjaxOptions { UpdateTargetId = "logedInDiv", InsertionMode = InsertionMode.Replace, OnSuccess = "ShowSuccessMessage", OnFailure = "ShowErrorMessage" })) { %> <%= Html.TextBoxFor(m => m.UserName)%> <%= Html.PasswordFor(m => m.Password)%> <%= Html.CheckBoxFor(m => m.RememberMe)%> <input type="submit" value="Log On" /> < <% } %>

  • Asp.net ajax combobox doesn't display correctly when inserted inside a tab control.

    - by Shimrod
Hi everybody, I have a display problem when I try to use a ajax combobox inside a tab control: when my tab control loads on the page where the combobox is, everything works fine; however, if it loads on a another page, the you change to the page which contains the combobox, the right button (which opens the list of the combobox) isn't displayed at all. Has someone been through this behavior? And maybe found a solution ? Thanks in advance !

  • How to keep a shell open across multiple ajax requests in PHP?

    - by Joost van Doorn
I need to use a shell across multiple ajax requests. Basically this means that the next request should be able to continue with the same shell where the other process left off. The purpose is to communicate with daemons like FTP to open an FTP connection and log in and in the next request continue with that connection and be able to use it for uploads. But it's not limited to only the FTP daemon (as I know that FTP is supported in PHP).

  • What is the most efficient procedure for implementing a sortable ajax list on the backend?

    - by HenryL
The most common method is to assign a sequential order field for each item in the list and do an update that maintains the sequence with every ajax sort operation. Unfortunately, this requires an update to each item of the list every time someone sorts. This is fine for small lists, but what's the best way to implement sorting for larger lists that are constantly updated? I am looking for something that minimizes DB IO.

  • Ajax routes in Rails 3

    - by Jatin
In my Rails 2.3 application, the following routes were working properly map.ajax 'ajax', :controller => 'widgetresponse_controller' , :action => 'getWidgetJson' When I migrated to Rails 3, I tried a number of new routes, to get this working but none of them worked. 1. match 'ajax' => 'widgetresponse#getWidgetJson', :as => :ajax 2. match 'ajax' => 'widgetresponse_controller#getWidgetJson', :as => :ajax 3. get 'widgetresponse/getWidgetJson', :as => :ajax 4. get 'widgetresponse/getWidgetJson' Its a very basic question to ask, but I don't know what I am doing wrong.
