  • Translate HTML files to another language

    I have a website with Dutch text which I want to translate to English. Is there a fast way of doing this with keeping the HTML tags(<strong>,<span>) in tact. I know I can just copy the parsed TEXT into a translator but this will remove the formatting. I also know that at the end I have to go trough the text manually to fix some minor spelling and grammar.

  • Wordpress Events List Date Problem

    Hi, I'm having a problem displaying events in the correct order in wordpress. I think the problem is because wordpress is treating the date as a string and ordering it by the day because it's in british date format. The goal is to display a list of future events with the most current event at the top of the list. But I must use the british date format of dd/mm/yyyy. Do I need to go back to the drawing board or is there a way of converting the date to achieve the result I need?   • exclude private property from print_r or object?

    Basically I am using Code Igniter, and the Code Igniter base class is huge, when I print_r some of my objects they have the base class embedded inside them. this makes it a pain to get the information I actually wanted (the rest of the properties). So, I am wondering if there is a way I can hide, or remove the base class object?   • php parse error always on the last line

    I'm trying to read a comment that is stored in a mysql table. For some reason I always get a parse error on the last line of the file even if the last line is blank. I'm not sure if it's relevant but the connect.php works for putting the comment into the database. I'm using wampserver to host it and coding it by hand. I think that's it's something to do with the while loop, when I comment out the while(){ and the } near the end I just get a few missing variable errors as you would expect. I'm quite new to php coding so I'm pretty sure the problem will be something simple that I've either missed or not understood properly.   • Page not redirecting properly(php)

    I want to do the login page this way so that I won't be having trouble posting the username in the userpage. But everytime I try to access login.php. I get an error in firefox, that the page is not redirecting properly. What do I do? This works when I separate them into two. Into something like, login.php and verifylogin.php as the form action. Basically I have a div, and I wanted to have the video player within that div, however when I load the page nothing happens, and the video is never played.
