    I have installed the Tabular plugin, which works very well for me, as long as there are no complicated regexes involved… But I have this list : one @abc @rstuvw &foo three @defg &bar four @mn @opq &kludge &hack twelve @hijkl &baz &quux I wish to align it that way (on @… first, then on &…) : one @abc @rstuvw &foo three @defg &bar four @mn @opq &kludge &hack twelve @hijkl &baz &quux which means I have 3 problems at the same time : align on the first occurrence of 2 different delimiters (@ and &) which are not really delimiters but "special characters" at the beginning of Words This is far beyond my understanding of both regexes and Tabular.vim How should I proceed ?

  • iPhone xcode - Best way to control audio from several view controllers

    Hi, I am pretty new to iPhone programming. I have a navBar with three views. I need to control audio from all of the views. I only want one audio stream to play at a time. I was thinking that it would be smart to let my AppDelegate have an instance of my audioplaying class and let the three other views use that instance to control the audio. My problem is that I don´t know how my views can use the audioplaying class in my AppDelegate. Is this the best approach and if so, how? Is there a better way?

I did this by creating object of class A in class B constructor and tried to access that object in functions of class B. But its showing error. How can i assess the same object in these three functions. Where i have to create object of class A B::B() { A a; } B:: function() { a.fun(); //fun belongs to class A } B:: function1() { a.fun1(); //fun1 belongs to class A } I am getting error, How can i implement the same where i can access object a in both function.

  • jQuery infinite loop w/ tablesorter

    Got myself in a funny situation: page has three tables. Using sortEnd, any time you sort one table, it sorts the other three. However, since I bound sortEnd to the function that does the sorting, you get a infinite loop of sorting/resorting.     I'm writing my third app, and I already have an app in the App Store, but I still don't get this App ID business. I created the App IDs for my first two applications like this: XXXXXXXXXX.me.cbg.FirstApp YYYYYYYYYY.me.cbg.SecondApp but then Apple introduced the App ID wizard, which I used to create the App ID and provisioning profiles for my third application: ZZZZZZZZZZ.* So my question is: What is the "proper" way of creating App IDs for three completely independent apps? Should I use the XXXXXXXXXX.* format or XXXXXXXXXX.me.cbg.*? Should I create three different App IDs, or just one wildcard ID?

    Hello, I need to write a PHP script that will print out results from a MySQL database. For example, say I have 9 fields. Field 1 is an auto increasing number, field two is a three digit number. I need to be able to have a script read, find the matching number (it'll be from a POST), and then display all matching three digit results, and the 7 other fields as well. I am already logged in to the database in this script. I guess I'm really at a loss of where to begin. How would one start something like this? Thank you.

    I want to do permutation in Perl. For example I have three arrays: ["big", "tiny", "small"] and then I have ["red", "yellow", "green"] and also ["apple", "pear", "banana"]. How do I get: ["big", "red", "apple"] ["big", "red", "pear"] ..etc.. ["small", "green", "banana"] I understand this is called permutation. But I am not sure how to do it. Also I don't know how many arrays I can have. There may be three or four, so I don't want to do nested loop.

    I need to be able to split an input String by commas, semi-colons or white-space (or a mix of the three). I would also like to treat multiple consecutive delimiters in the input as a single delimiter. Here's what I have so far: String regex = "[,;\\s]+"; return input.split(regex); This works, except for when the input string starts with one of the delimiter characters, in which case the first element of the result array is an empty String. I do not want my result to have empty Strings, so that something like, ",,,,ZERO; , ;;ONE ,TWO;," returns just a three element array containing the capitalized Strings. Is there a better way to do this than stripping out any leading characters that match my reg-ex prior to invoking String.split? Thanks in advance!

  • Can't subtract in a for loop in C/Objective-C

    I'm going through the Big Nerd Ranch book on Objective-C, which takes you through some early C stuff. I've played with C before, and am pretty experienced in PHP. Anyhow, I'm doing the challenges and this one is not working the way I think it should. It's pretty simple - start at 99, loop through and subtract three until you get to zero, and every time you get a number that is divisible by 5 print "Found one." Pretty straightforward. However, subtracting by three in the for loop is not working #include <stdio.h> int main (int argc, const char * argv[]) { int i; for(i = 99; i > 0; i-3){ printf("%d\n", i); if(i % 5 == 0) { printf("Found one!\n"); } } return 0; } It creates and endless loop at 99, and I'm not sure why.

  • MySQL returns fewer rows with GROUP BY statement

    I've got a MySQL database that stores image information. Right now it only has three rows stored in the database, and each row is associated with something like, for instance, a unique blog post via a key column. As of right now, one "blog post key" has one image, and one has two images in the database. When I run this query, MySQL returns all three rows. SELECT `id`, `key`, `url` FROM (`images`) WHERE `key` = 'TpaS4G5h' OR `key` = '78855e44' However, when i add the GROUP BY statement I only get two rows... one for each key. SELECT `id`, `key`, `url` FROM (`images`) WHERE `key` = 'TpaS4G5h' OR `key` = '78855e44' GROUP BY `key` I'm sure there is a simple solution, but I don't know what it is... so any help would be really appreciated.   • Get drop down selection from GridView on button press

    I have an ASP.NET GridView that has four columns. The first three are typical BoundField elements bound to a DataTable. The forth is a TemplateField element that I create a DropDownList in on the OnRowCreated event for the GridView. What I'm attempting to do is walk down the data source for the GridView when a button is pressed. I really just need to get the values for columns one and four of each row. The first three columns have data as expected but the forth is displaying as empty. Is this because it wasn't a part of the DataTable originally? Is there any way to get the value for each drop down as I've described it, or will I need to rework this so each drop down list is a part of the DataTable?

I'm trying to create a query to produce the most frequent pairs, meaning people who play in teams of two.   • Counting multiple rows in MySQL in one query

    I currently have a table which stores a load of statistics such as views, downloads, purchases etc. for a multiple number of items. To get a single operation count on each item I can use the following query: SELECT , COUNT() FROM stats WHERE operation = 'view' GROUP BY item_id This gives me all the items and a count of their views. I can then change 'view' to 'purchase' or 'download' for the other variables. However this means three separate calls to the database. Is it possible to get all three in one go?

    I was reading this great article about closures here and the example below outputs 'item3 undefined' three times. I understand why it outputs 'item3' three times as the functions inside buildList() all use the same single closure but why can't it access the 'list' argument? Why is it undefined?   • Quickest and most efficient method to search top 3 numbers?

    I currently have an array of around 8 - 10 numbers that changes on a periodic basis. So around every 5 - 10 seconds the numbers get updated. I need to get the top 3 numbers in the array every 10 seconds. This is all done on a mobile device. At the minute I iterate through the array 3 times and each time I take out the three highest numbers and place them in three previously declared variables. My question is what should I look to do to increase speed and efficiency in this instance?
