I'm trying to work out how I would loop through a 8 bit binary word and check the value of specific bits.     I have a row that has keywords in this way (keyword1, keyword2, keyword3) separated by commas as shown. When a user signs in, you know that he wants information about (keyword1, keyword3). Now, I have another table that has bunch of information related to different keywords, this table has a row called (keywords) which indicates if this information is suitable for which keyword. How do I render for the user the information he needs depending on the keywords. In other words, if the user wants information about (keyword3, keyword1) how do I go to the (information) table and find all the information that has the word (keyword1) or the word (keyword3) in the row (keyword)? Sorry if this is complicated (my explanation) but I tried my best to explain it. Thank you in advance :)

    I know of several approaches using a macro (VBA) to show/hide columns and rows in Excel, but I cannot figure out or find a way to do this using either a formula or conditional formatting. Of particular interest is Excel 2007 - but I'd be curious to know if someone has managed to do it in any version of Excel. For those who want background, I have a spread of data with dates across the top and labels down the first column. I would like to specify a date window (on another sheet) as two cells with drop down dates (months) which would then show/hide the appropriate columns on the data sheet.

    I have a program installed called WinSCP. When I press the Windows key and type "SCP", I get "No items match your search." Is there a configuration option I can set somewhere, so that this item will be found? I'm not looking for a specific solution for this particular program, but something general, so that if there's a program named XYZ, I can find it via the Start Menu search by entering YZ. EDIT TO ADD: I'm looking for a "set-it and forget-it" type of configuration change, so that within-word searching happens always, automatically. I don't want to have to type a * before every query. Apparently this wasn't clear from what I wrote above.

Every keyword shows up properly with no problems in unicode conversions etc. Now, When I am adding these words to the database column of a table, the words show up as messed up. http domainsoutlook.com/b/site/bhaskar.com.html For example on this front end page if you see there is a keyword that is shown as a blank but still occurs on the website 8 times. (It isnt empty in the database though). I have checked and there is no problem with mysql_real_escape_String...because the output stays the same before and after the word is gone through mysql_real_escape_String. Another problem was that I wanted to fix my urls for arabic language. They should be showing up as /word-{1st letter of the word}/{whole word}.html but its showing as /word-{whole word}/{1st letter of the word}.html I really need answers for these two questions.

My field is a dbMemo because the maximum content length is up to a few hundred chars. It's not that long, and in fact the value I'm reading is only a dozen characters. But Excel just doesn't seem able to handle the Memo field content at all. My code... ActiveCell = oRs.Fields("memoField") ...gives error Run-time error '3146': ODBC--call failed. Any suggestions? Can Excel VBA actually get at memo field data? Or is it just completely impossible. I get exactly the same error from GetChunk as well. ActiveCell = oRs.Fields("memoField").GetChunk(0, 2) ...also gives error Run-time error '3146': ODBC--call failed. Converting to a text field makes everything work fine. However some data is truncated to 255 characters of course, which means that isn't a workable solution.

    I wonder how many clicks I optimally should let pass through every new keyword I try in Adwords before I find out that it's not making a profit and it should be paused! It's actually four question. 1: At which likelihood percentile should I pause a word? 2: How many clicks should I let through before I pause a word for those word which do not generate any lead? 3: How many clicks should I let through after one sale to consider the word not to be profitable? 4: Does the likelihood of the word becoming profitable affect the above? Conditions: -The clicks is normally distributed. (correct?) -A CR of 1% is break even, everything above is profit (1 sale/100 clicks=break even) Cost per Click(cpc) = 4$ -Marginal (profit per sale) = 400$ -Paybacktime = 1 year -Average click per word = 0,333 per day (121 + 2/3 per year) Exampel: After 1 click and no sale the keyword still has a high probability to be profitable. After 500 clicks and no sale it has almost no likelihood to not be profitable and should probably be paused. Thanks in advance!

    I am looking for a software which I can host in popular and general shared web hosting services(online softwares like wordpress, meidawiki, drupal etc.) which can do the following- allow users to create account allow users or anons to add words to the dictionary (there will be English as base language and other languages) easier way to import all the words from English dictionary users should be able to write the that language equivalent of the English word Every word should have it's own address and page like www.namesomething.com/word/en/software will contain the word software and the other language word for it search should be faster and should find nearer results it's should be able to list related words like if the user is looking at "software" then other words from s like "softcopy" etc should appear alphabetically in that page Any one should be able to comment on the word which is not seen in the main page but other page similar to the talk page in the wiki any one should be able to contribute clean interface unlike wiki (media wiki and all other) just for words only I tried media wiki and other wiki software but it overloaded and unclean. I am looking for interface similar to oed.com but clean, minimal as we are not going to have such more information. Just words in English and it's other language equivalent. Here we are talking about a language which has not yet been in the Internet. It's should be collaborative.
