  • VS2008 Link Error Using SafeInt3.hpp in 64bit mode.

    I have the below code that links and runs fine in 32bit mode - #include "safeint3.hpp" typedef SafeInt<SIZE_T> SAFE_SIZE_T; SAFE_SIZE_T sizeOfCache; SAFE_SIZE_T _allocateAmt; Where safeint3.hpp is current version that can be found on Codeplex SafeInt. For those who are unaware of it, safeint is a template class that makes working with different integer types and sizes "safe". To quote channel 9 video on software - "it writes the code that you should". Which is my case. I have a class that is managing a large in-memory cache of objects (6gb) and I am very concerned about making sure that I don't have overflow/underflow issues on my pointers/sizes/other integer variables. In this use, it solves many problems. My problem is coming when moving from 32bit dev mode to 64bit production mode. When I build the app in this mode, I'm getting the following linker warnings - 1>cachecontrol.obj : warning LNK4006: "bool __cdecl IntrinsicMultiplyUint64(unsigned __int64 const &,unsigned __int64 const &,unsigned __int64 *)" (?IntrinsicMultiplyUint64@@YA_NAEB_K0PEA_K@Z) already defined in ImageInRamCache.obj; second definition ignored 1>cachecontrol.obj : warning LNK4006: "bool __cdecl IntrinsicMultiplyInt64(__int64 const &,__int64 const &,__int64 *)" (?IntrinsicMultiplyInt64@@YA_NAEB_J0PEA_J@Z) already defined in ImageInRamCache.obj; second definition ignored While I understand I can ignore the error, I would like either (a) prevent the warning from occurring or (b) make it disappear so that my QA department doesn't flag it as a problem. And after spending some time researching it, I cannot find a way to do either.

  • Attach an HREF and a class to an img link generated by the PhotoSlider script?

    Hi folks, I'm using the very nice PhotoSlider script from http://opiefoto.com/articles/photoslider to create a slide show of images for one of my clients. This script replaces a previous hand-coded Javascript solution that allowed for the large image to be clicked resulting in a lightbox modal popup showing the full-size version of the clicked picture. Of course the client insists that this functionality remain intact, but the HTML code for the large image is generated on-the-fly by the PhotoSlider script itself. This means I'll need to modify the script slightly to attach a class ("lightbox") and an href (or just a click event, whichever makes more sense), but I'm not quite sure how best to accomplish this. I figure the event and class will have to be attached each time a thumbnail is clicked, but if this isn't the best way to do it any advice will be appreciated. The script is implemented into my page as can be seen here, without the click or class. I'd really appreciate any assistance stackoverflowites can offer. Thanks in advance!

    I have two hyperlinks on a page. I'm happy with the css on 'link1' (white text / red rollover) however I want to have a different styling for 'link2'. I've created a seperate css for this section and have managed to colour it green but I can't get rid of the red rollover effect? For example: http://localhost/departments.asp?d3/ (Should return <h2>welcome to department 3!</h2>) http://localhost/departments.asp?d2/what-doing (Should return <h2>what is department 2 doing?</h2>) I'm not sure if this can be create in one query or if there will need to be a recursive function of some sort. Also, if there is nothing after the last / then assume we want the index page. How can this be accomplished? Thank you.

  • Link a programmatic instantiation of class x in class y to a view controller of class x

    I have classes Compose and Haiku, each connected to a view controller in IB. Haiku is instantiated in Compose as ghhaiku. Haiku has an array, self.arrayOfHaiku, with 117 members. But in Compose, self.ghhaiku.arrayOfHaiku has no members. I think the problem is that I haven't linked the instance of Haiku that has the 117-member array with the instance of Haiku created in Compose. But how do I do that? (I could of course be totally wrong and the problem could be something else, but that seems to make intuitive sense.) Any thoughts?

  • How can I make external script output link to code in Visual Studio?

    I sometimes need to search code for patterns in a way that goes beyond the regex capabilities of Visual Studio (e.g. patterns that depend on what was seen previously in the file or on the contents of other files). So I use Perl to analyze the source and output matching lines, along with the file name and line number. Since this is the exact same format as is produced by the search feature of Visual Studio, I wonder if there is a way to duplicate the functionality where I can double-click on a line and it will display that line in context in Visual Studio. Any ideas?

I have been successful in adding a .jar dependency to that project; however the java project is in the same workspace as my grails project and I would ultimately like to reference that project directly. I don't want to deal with the added step of creating a new jar file every time that there is a modification to the java project, cleaning and updating my dependencies. I added the java project to my grails' project "Java Build Path" and at first everything seemed to work fine, but when I run grailscompile, the compiler fails to resolve all imports that point to the java project. I am using Spring Source Toolsuite as my IDE.

My understanding is this would make them visible to search engine robots, and it seems a much simpler way to do this than to create a couple hundred html files...     In trying to find the possible cause of an exception, I'm following a code path using Reflector. I've got deeper and deeper, but ended up at a method call that looks like: [MethodImpl(MethodImplOptions.InternalCall)] private extern void SomeMethod(int someParameter); This markup on the method tells the framework to call a C++ function somewhere. Is there any way to find out what method actually gets called, and in turn what else is likely to be called? NB: I don't really want to see the source code of this method, I just want to know the possible things that could throw the exception I am seeing that originates out of this method call.
