    Hi I am writing a web app (mainly iphone targeted) where the user has to enter their dob as part of the log in, I need this to be <input type = 'password'however I also want to enable the numeric section of the keyboard. I would usually change the type attr to 'number' however as this needs to be hidden I wondered if there was another way to activate the numeric pad Cheers! (ps I do not want to use any frameworks such as jquery on this)

    Hey guys, I'm having trouble building an Elf file within Eclipse. It seems that everytime I build, a PE / portable executable for windows is created. I've gone into the Binary Parser section and checked Elf Parser while making sure that everything else is unchecked. However, I continue to end up with a PE which I cannot run on Linux. Any ideas? I would like to use a macro to automatically create about a dozen or so sub-documents based on certain rules (mainly, occurrence of certain strings in each Section). Is this possible?   • Backbone.js Adding Model to Collection Issue

    I am building a test application in Backbone.js (my first app using Backbone). The app goes like this: Load Data from server "Plans" Build list of plans and show to screen There is a button to add a new plan Once new plan is added, add to collection ( do not save to server as of now ) redirect to index page and show the new collection ( includes the plan you just added) My issue is with item 5. When I save a plan, I add the model to the collection then redirect to the initial view. At this point, I fetch data from the server. When I fetch data from the server, this overwrites my collection and my added model is gone. How can I prevent this from happening? I have found a way to do this but it is definitely not the correct way at all. Below you will find my code examples for this. Thanks for the help.   • asp.net MVC: how to catch a 404 error?

    Hi, in the old days, with asp.net, when i would navigate to a non existing page, the .net framework (or iis?) would throw a 404 and i could attach a default page to that error in the web.config in the custom errors section. but in the asp.net mvc that doesn't seem to work? Does the mvc framework throws some kind of invalid route excpetion saying it can't find any route for my uri or something like that?

  • WLI domain with 3 servers - issues on JPD process startup

I'm currently working on a clustered WLI environment which comprehends 3 servers: 1 admin server ("AdminServer") and 2 managed servers ("mn1" and "mn2") grouped as a cluster, as follows: Architecture diagram: http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/4112/clusterdiagram.jpg I've developed a JPD process to execute some scheduled tasks, invoked using a Message Broker. I've deployed this project into a single-server WLI domain (with AdminServer only) and it works as expected: the JPD process is invoked (I've configured a Timer Event Generator instance to start it up). Message broker: http://img532.imageshack.us/img532/1443/wlimessagebroker.jpg Timer event generator: http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/7358/wlitimereventgenerator.jpg In order to achieve fail-over and load-balancing capabilities, I'm currently trying to deploy this JPD process into this clustered WLI environment. Although, I'm having some issues with this, as I cannot get it to work properly, even if it still works.     Is it possible to unit test Entity Framework v2 repositories with SqLite? Is this only possible if my entities are plain Poco and not automatically generated by Entity Framework? I've generated a entity model from SqlServer and in the generated .edmx file i found this in section SSDL content: Provider="System.Data.SqlClient". Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldnt that be System.Data.SQLite in order to work with sqlite?

  • Adding a Shadow to a NSImageView

    Sorry for the seemingly simple question. I have a NSImageView (added in interface builder) and want to add a shadow outline. I tried using the 'Image View Effects' section of the 'Inspector' but this required enabling a core animation layer. If I set it for the 'Content View' I have very strange appearance side effects. If I set it for the 'Image View' the shadow is cropped (sorry, can't resize the image view). Any ideas?

    So, I'm a script monkey at the core. Lately I seem to get stuffed into doing design too for some odd reason and, well, let's just say I should probably have studied better. Either way - What I ask is, what's the Right way to structure a website? This one has a header with links, then a block with tabs, right under another block which consists of two parts and under those a few others who I'm not at yet. However, the thing is, I need to make a block that consists of two parts that are in the same box but structured independently. I'll try to draw it up. I tried using floats, making them as tables, aligning and whatnot. The putting float:left on both tables worked. Kinda. Until I tried to resize the window.
