• Drupal - Getting node id from view to customise link in block

  I got a little problem with Drupal (again) in that I'm trying to work out how I can build a block which is able to show the node ID of the view page the block is currently sitting on. I'm using views to build a large chunk of my site, but I need to be able to make "intelligent" blocks in PHP mode which will have dynamic content depending on what the view is displaying. So.. how can I go about finding the $nid which a view is currently displaying?! Any ideas?

• Creating a unique id for a Core Data program on the iPhone

  I am fairly new at programming in Objective-C, having been a windows programmer since I was a kid. I am falling in LOVE with it. I am, however, having a bit of trouble figuring out this Core Data stuff. How do I create a new entry with a unique ID? In SQL I would just declare one field as an autoincrement field. I'm not seeing anything like that here, but I could just be missing something. I just want an auto incrementing NSInteger field, so when I manually add items to the database, I will have some form of reference to them.

  Hi, I am building an app on top of Google Reader. Since users have to enter their Google Account data, I'd like to use this data to assign personal settings to each user. However, if I do so and a user would change his email adress or password(for the whole Google Account), I wouldn't be able to identify him anymore. Thus, I need to know if there's a Google Account ID or something that I can use to identify users regardless of an email adress or password. Thanks for your help!

  hi, I'm learning java and android. and I've been looking at trying to wrap the last screen to the first screen in the android Launcher2. I've tried googleing, and searching here, but there really isnt much information about the launcher2 source...I've been modifying the workspace.java file, but there has been minimal effect. no wrap around so far...I have not been able to find a .xml file that also might control the hard stop when you reach the end of the screens. I found 1 way which some ppl on net says works for them and it is giving me strange problem. if you see the image, when i use the function fnGetPosition, it just cross out.. i don't know why other users over net have no issue on it..   Hi, I am using MS Access as a database and using c#, .net for updating some records in it. But it is giving error saying "No value given for one or more required parameters." There are 5 colums in Table and I want to update only 2, for that I have written the query like "update User_DTL set user_role_id = '" + _UserRole + "', auth_id ='" + _authId + "'" + " WHERE Id = '" + _Id + "' "; where _UserRole, _authId, _Id are strings. • First and last UITableViewCell keep changing while scrolling.

  I have a tableView with cells containing one UITextField as a subview for each cell. My problem is that when I scroll down, the text in the first cell is duplicated in the last cell. I can't for the life if me figure out why. I have tried loading the cells from different nibs, having the textFields as ivars. The UITextFields don't seem to be the problem, I'm thinking it has something to do with the tableView reusing the cells. The textFields all have a data source that keeps track of the text within the textField and the text is reset each time the cell is shown. Any ideas? • PHP Session Id changes between pages

  Hi All, I have a problem where i am losing the PHP session between 2 pages. The session_start() is included in a file called session-inc.php into every page requiring a session to be set. This works for all pages on the site except one particular page, member-profile.php. When this page is visited a new session with a different id (same session name) is set and used instead. A few more details: Session name is set manually All pages are on the same server under the same domain name If i put an additional session_start() above the include('session-inc.php') in the member-profile.php file, the session is carried over correctly I have tried setting the session_cookie_domain and session.session_name in the .htaccess, this worked for this domain but it stopped the session being passed over to out payment domain We are running apache 2.2.6 with php 5.2.5 Putting the session_start() above the include('session-inc.php') in the member-profile.php file is the quick and dirty fix for this problem, but i am wondering if anybody know why this would be happening. • How can I get my div id to reload via ajax and jquery

  I'm creating a CMS using jQuery and AJAX. When I click, my "Add Campaign" buttom, it creates a unique client ID in the DB and on a hard reload, the new client shows up in its container. I am trying to use ajax to reload the container on the fly and I'm not having the exact luck i am hoping for.   I am currently working on a nice table that displays the items in a list of "Tasks" on a dispForm page. Each Task is created and initially given a ProjectID depending on which project the task is for. The ProjectID is the actual ID given to the "project" when it is added to the list, therefore it is not actually a parameter in the list of projects while it is a parameter in the list of tasks. I would like to know how to use the ProjectID parameter in the task list to link to the Project list and grab the ProjectName parameter so that I can display the Project Name in the table.   I need to target the starting tag of the last top level LI in a list that may or may-not contain sublists in various positions - without using CSS or Javascript. Is there a simple/elegant regexp that can help with this? He wants to have a solution such that when somebody call to his company, the operator sees all the information about the person who is calling based on the database he have right now and the caller ID. Is there a ready made software or solution that can do the job?? • Decimal To Octal Converter, last digit issue

  I tried making a C program to convert a user entered decimal number to octal. I wrote the C code with my own logic without any research of how other users try to do it. It works fine for the number 601 and some other numbers but for most numbers it returns the octal equivalent with the last digit being 1 less than it should be. For 75 it returns 112 instead of 113. I realize using printf with %o gets the job done but it's kind of defeating the purpose of learning to program. • Parse files in directory/insert in database

  Hey there, Here is my dillema... I have a directory full of .txt comma delimited files arranged as shown below. What I want to do is to import each of these into a SQL or SQLite database, appending each one below the last. (1 table)... I am open to C# or VB scripting and just not sure how to accomplish this. I want to only extract and import the data starting BELOW the 'Feat. Type,Feat. Name, etc' line. These are stored in a \mynetwork\directory\stats folder on my network drive. Ideally I will be able to add functionality that will make the software/script know not to re-add the file to the database once it has already done so as well. • C++ MFC add combo box string item from a widget ID

  I've added a combo box in the gui editor in MSVC 2010 pro in my MFC project. I have a list of strings I am grabbing from an external source and want to add them to my combo box. I've searched for a while, and every post seems to suggest I need to use the CComboBox class, however, I have no idea how to get the class variable from the resource ID of the combobox element in the gui editor. In summary, how do I add a string to my combo box, either using a macro (like CB_ADDSTRING(RESOURCE_ID, "my string");) or using CComboBOx (something like CComboBox::GetObject(RESOURCE_ID)->AddString("blah");). I do not do much win32 api/mfc programming, and just started fiddling around with it.

• How do I find the Recaptcha ID?

  I've been stuck on something for the past day. I'm building a RoR bot, and part of it involves signing up for an email account with mail.com. I've automated all the filling out of the form, apart from the captcha (Recaptcha). I'll be using the deathbycaptcha Ruby gem. However, in order to have the captcha solved, I'll need to get either its ID or its URL. While this shows up when I "enable form details" with the Firefox Web Developer toolbar, it doesn't seem to be in the source. How can I find it out? I'm using Watir. Thanks! Joe

  I have written a custom std::basic_streambuf and std::basic_ostream because I want an output stream that I can get a JNI string from in a manner similar to how you can call std::ostringstream::str(). Is there some other method on std::basic_streambuf I need to be implementing????

• Excel Macro to find text in cell and insert hyperlink on cell

  We're managing some system bugs in a web system and setting priority for execs in a spreadsheet. Each of the tickets has a "FD-" and four numbers as the ID. The web system has a hyperlink that has that "FD-####" at the end of the link. The end result would look like this -- http://www.mytickets.com/FD-#### I'd like to run a macro that finds all the FD-#### and inserts a hyperlink on each. There may be multiple FD-#### in a single cell and there will certainly be other text in there. I'd go through each and add the link but there are over 150 or so. Thanks!

  I am using the WebAPI with .NET 4.5. I have a enum called DareStatus which is a list of statuses and their corresponding integer ID's. To minimize bandwidth traffic I want to send the int values of the enums, not the full text as it is currently doing. (I have control over the client so I can map it on the clientside). • Blob ID matching over multiple frames in C++ (image analysis)

  Dear reader, I'm working on a blob matching and tracking library in C++. Currently I'm using openCV to detect blobs and try to match blobs in a new frame by checking the position, velocity and size of the blob. This works quite okay and I'm receiving a high blob match rate (95% or higher). Sometimes blobs fall out of the image or new blobs appear. Now I need to give matched blobs the same ID as they had before. I'm wondering if there are typical or commonly used techniques for doing this. Or even some keywords I can use to google on. Thanks
