  • Question About Eclipse Java Debugger Conditional Breakpoints Inefficiency

    I just set a conditional breakpoint in Eclipse's debugger with a mildly inefficient condition by breakpoint standards - checking whether a HashMap's value list (8 elements) contains Double.NaN. This resulted in an extremely noticeable slowdown in performance - after about five minutes, I gave up. Then I copy pasted the condition into an if statement at the exact same line, put a noop in the if, and set a normal breakpoint there. That breakpoint was reached in the expected 20-30 seconds. Is there something special that conditional breakpoints do that is different from this, or is Eclipse's implementation just kinda stupid? It seems like they could fairly easily just do exactly the same thing behind the scenes.

For a funding, I would like to select the latest Letter created date and the ‘earliest worklist created since letter created’ date for a funding. FundingId Leter (1, 1/1/2009 )(1, 5/5/2009) (1, 8/8/2009) (2, 3/3/2009) FundingId WorkList (1, 5/5/2009 ) (1, 9/9/2009) (1, 10/10/2009) (2, 2/2/2009) Expected Result - FundingId Leter WorkList (1, 8/8/2009, 9/9/2009) I wrote a query as follows. It has a bug. It will omit those FundingId for which the minimum WorkList date is less than latest Letter date (even though it has another worklist with greater than letter created date).     Been battling with this one for what seems, like forever. I have an array: $url_array It contains this info: Array ( [ppp] => Array ( [0] => stdClass Object ( [id] => 46660 [entity_id] => 0 [redirect_url] => http://www.google.com [type] => Image ) [1] => stdClass Object ( [id] => 52662 [entity_id] => 0 [pixel_redirect_url] => http://www.yahoo.com [type] => Image ) [2] => stdClass Object ( [id] => 53877 [entity_id] => 0 [redirect_url] => http://www.msn.com [pixel_type] => Image ) ) [total_count] => 3 ) I need to loop through it, and do things to each variable. I can get this to work: foreach ($piggies_array as $key => $value) { $id = $value[0]->id; $redirect_url = $value[0]->redirect_url; } Not unsurprisingly, it's only echoing the first value of those variables, but no matter what I try I cannot get it to loop through: $value->redirect_url; $value=>redirect_url; I would appreciate any help.

    I have a slight problem with .htaccess redirect. I have a dynamic site with 2 levels of variables - content="type -(alpha)" and ID="number" but this is very not seo friendly what I really would like to create is a rewrite rule that generates a "friendly" url for serach engines & users alike. Very much like WordPress does. Each ID is already unique (obviously) and on creation is creating a unique "permalink" field so for example ID=1 has a "permalink field" as "2009/10/27/page title" and ID=100 would be "2010/10/27 page title". I would like folder/wall.php?content=type&ID=number to redirect to folder/permalink.php/html/htm (don't mind a non dynamic extension) Any clues? - this is not right (I know) but it also "breaks" my css file RewriteEngine On RewriteRule wall/content/(.*)/ID/(.*)/ wall.php?content=$1&ID=$2 RewriteRule wall/content/(.*)/ID/(.*) wall.php?content=$1&ID=$2

  • Unable to import example projects from book (newbie question)

    I am trying to import projects from a book "Beginning Android 2" but when I choose the root directory the "Finish" button is still grayed out. I've tried importing the project from scratch with no success, and I've also tried to create a template project with the same name and everything and then importing into that (Import existing projects into workspace) but it always says "No projects are found to import". The contents of the folder are: Res folder, src folder with .java file, the manifest, build, and default.properties files. I am new to android dev (obviously) so I appreciate the help.

  • Question on how to remove a Visual Studio Breakpoint

    Let's say I have 10 breakpoints and I want to clear one but not the other 9. If I toggle the breakpoint on the one that I want to remove, it is resurrected the next time I restart the app. The only way that I know to permanently get rid of it is to clear ALL the breakpoints, which I would rather not do since I would have to reset the other 9. Is there a better way in ANY VS version?

    I have the following SQL SELECT Seq.UserSessionSequenceID, Usr.SessionGuid, Usr.UserSessionID, Usr.SiteID, Seq.Timestamp, Seq.UrlTitle, Seq.Url FROM tblUserSession Usr INNER JOIN tblUserSessionSequence Seq ON Usr.UserSessionID = Seq.UserSessionID WHERE (Usr.Timestamp > DATEADD(mi, -45, GETDATE())) AND (Usr.SiteID = 15) ORDER BY Usr.Timestamp DESC Pretty simple stuff. There are by nature multiple UserSessionIDs rows in tblUserSessionSequence. I ONLY want to return the latest (top 1) row with unique UserSessionID. How do I do that?

    Hi, Can anyone help me with a SQL query in Apache Derby SQL to get a "simple" count. Given a table ABC that looks like this... id a b c 1 1 1 1 2 1 1 2 3 2 1 3 4 2 1 1 ** 5 2 1 2 ** ** 6 2 2 1 ** 7 3 1 2 8 3 1 3 9 3 1 1 How can I write a query to get a count of how may distinct values of 'a' have both (b=1 and c=2) AND (b=2 and c=1) to get the correct result of 1. (the two rows marked match the criteria and both have a value of a=2, there is only 1 distinct value of a in this table that match the criteria) The tricky bit is that (b=1 and c=2) AND (b=2 and c=1) are obviously mutually exclusive when applied to a single row. .. so how do I apply that expression across multiple rows of distinct values for a? These queries are wrong but to illustrate what I'm trying to do... "SELECT DISTINCT COUNT(a) WHERE b=1 AND c=2 AND b=2 AND c=1 ..." .. (0) no go as mutually exclusive "SELECT DISTINCT COUNT(a) WHERE b=1 AND c=2 OR b=2 AND c=1 ..." .. (3) gets me the wrong result. SELECT COUNT(a) (CASE WHEN b=1 AND c=10 THEN 1 END) FROM ABC WHERE b=2 AND c=1 .. (0) no go as mutually exclusive Cheers, Phil.

  • css position question: layers with z-index?

    hey guys, i have a probably rather simpel problem: my website has two layers: 1) a drag&drop navigation on top which should be positioned absolute, so scrolling doesn't affect the bars. 2) a content area in the back behind the navigation which should be scrollable. you can see what i mean right here: http://jsfiddle.net/Pghqv/ however now, i cannot click links in my content-area in the back. any ideas or solutions how i can still have the same position result and the links in the back are working? thank you very much.
