  I am trying to append my JSON datas into the content page but the datas are not loaded. When I use console.log I can see the data appearing. • PHP OOP: Unique method per argument type?

  I'm writing a little homebrew ORM (academic interest). I'm trying to adhere to the TDD concept as a training exercise, and as part of that exercise I'm writing documentation for the API as I develop the class. Case in point - I'm working on a classic "getCollection" type mapper class. I want it to be able to retrieve collections of asset X (let's say blog posts) for a specific user, and also collections based on an arbitrary array of numeric values. So - you might have a method like any one of these $User = $UserMapper->load(1); $ArticleCollection = $ArticleMapper->getCollection(range(10,20)); $ArticleCollection = $ArticleMapper->getCollection($User); $ArticleCollection = $ArticleMapper->getCollection($User->getId()); So, in writing the documentation for the getCollection method - I want to declare the @param variable in the Docblock. Is it better to have a unique method for each argument type, or is it acceptable to have a method that delegates to the correct internal method/class based on argument type?

  Suppose I'm writing a function that takes a list of integers and returns only those integers in the list that are less than 5.2. I might do something like this: belowThreshold = filter (< 5.2) Easy enough, right? But now I want to constrain this function to only work with input lists of type [Int] for design reasons of my own. This seems like a reasonable request. Alas, no. A declaration that constraints the types as so: belowThreshold :: [Integer] -> [Integer] belowThreshold = filter (< 5.2) Causes a type error. So what's the story here? Why does doing filter (< 5.2) seem to convert my input list into Doubles? How can I make a version of this function that only accepts integer lists and only returns integer lists? Why does the type system hate me?

  I'm trying to get the twitter on page tabbed content to work. I have the tabs working with switching around active class on the tabs. I've included jquery and the bootstrap-tabs.js but the following code can't seem to get the tabbed content to hide / display as they should.   Class.forName(boolean.class.getName()); This doesn't work in Java - the virtual machine slaps you with a ClassNotFoundException. I was in need for something like that because I wanted to reflect methods based on Strings that included the method signatures, like public void doSomething(boolean yesWeCan, java.lang.String[] presidents); At the end I came up with a custom 'ClassFactory' which translates the type Strings to class objects. This factory includes a lot of handlers for primitive and array type values. The handler for array type objects is something like: if (isArrayOfObjects) { return Class.forName("L["+typeName.replace("[]", "")+";"); } My question is - have I missed something in the Java 1.5+ API that might do the trick?

I am looking for a list of all possible types and descriptions used by SQL Server.

• Money type field returns Dollar, but regional set to UK (Windows 7)

  Hi, On a Windows 7 machine with Advantage Data Architect version 9.10.0.11, money type data is returned as Dollars, instead of Pounds. Sometimes, it will suddenly switch to Pounds, without me changing any settings. Everything else returns Pounds correctly (regional settings is UK with £ as the currency symbol). Has anyone else had this problem and/or found a solution? If I run any reports using the money data type field I can't be sure that it's going to be accurate. And no, I can't change the field type and handle the currency symbol myself. Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi, I have some code where the model contains some classes like (vb.net pseudocode, but could be any OO language): Enum AttributeType Boolean Date String End Enum MustInherit Class Attibute Must Override Function Type As AttributeType End Class Class BooleanAttribute: Attribute Function Type As AttributeType Return AttributeType.Boolean End Function End Class And the view contains some code like: Select Case AttributeType Case Boolean //Display checkbox control Case Date //Display date picker control Case String //Display textbox control End Select I don't really like the code in the view, for the hopefully obvious reasons (what happens when I get a new attribute type etc). My question is, how should I replace it? I could easily add a method to the concrete classes, but that pollutes the model with UI stuff so that's a horrible idea. I could move the select into a factory, but that seems to be just hiding the problem. Can anybody advise a better approach?

  I am trying to send a multi part formdata post through my java code. Can someone tell me how to set Content Length in the following?? There seem to be headers involved when we use InputStreamBody which implements the ContentDescriptor interface. Doing a getContentLength on the InputStreamBody gives me -1 after i add the content. I subclassed it to give contentLength the length of my byte array but am not sure if other headers required by ContentDescriptor will be set for a proper POST.   I'm using FILE type in my MFC project but after compiled, it shows the following errors: Error 23 error C4430: missing type specifier - int assumed. Note: C++ does not support default-int Error 24 error C4430: missing type specifier - int assumed. Note: C++ does not support default-int Error 22 error C2146: syntax error : missing ';' before identifier 'm_pFileW' Those errors are referring to this code: FILE *m_pFileW; Did I missing any library header to use FILE syntax? Do I need to use different approach and replace FILE syntax? This errors are only generated when I placed it into my MFC project. This is not happening in C++ Console. Please help. Thank you.

  hello, ive been trying to retrive the current network type, but no success when i say network type: i refer to know this info: if the type is: NETWORK_TYPE_IDEN or NETWORK_TYPE_UMTS.. and so on.. i tried to use: NetworkInfo activeNetInfo = connectivityManager.getActiveNetworkInfo(); or NetworkInfo mobNetInfo = connectivityManager.getNetworkInfo (ConnectivityManager.TYPE_MOBILE); but no success.. i am doing this coz i wanna know if the current network is IDEN, or if the current network is connected through wifi.. any other suggestions will be welcome, thanks!

• Glassfish JSF/EAR Apache 2.2 proxy_ajp_mod Referred Content Missing (images/links/etc)

  Full disclosure: Since this seems to be more of a configuration issue, I deleted this from Stack (where it wasn't getting any response) and reposted here. The problem is how to change the requestContextPath served up by Glassfish behind mod_proxy_ajp. The site/app runs fine if connecting directly to Glassfish port 8080 which is ultimately not what I want to do. So I need help with configuration for my servers and jsf deployment. I can see the issue but don't know how to resolve it. It has to do with the requestContextPath. Simply put, Apache directs to http://mysite.com/welcome.xhtml which is correct and what I want, but the page is minus the images and styles. The issue is Glassfish itself is still pointing to http://mysite.com/myapp/*. So all links it serves in the app/site still refer via the requestContextPath. That is the /myapp/* part of http://mysite.com/myapp/welcome.xhtml. When I look in the page source, images which are referred to with relative links still point to the requestContextPath (that is, /myapp/). This is fixable but a real pain. However with page links I can't set the relative path. If I hover over the contact page link I see http://mysite.com/myapp/contact.xhtml, and if I click it, I get 404. You can see the /myapp/ context path in the page source as well. If I type in the URL http://mysite.com/contact.xhtml I get the page minus its referred links (requestContextPath). On Apache ProxyPass / ajp://littlewalterserver:8009/myapp-web/ ProxyPassReverse / ajp://littlewalterserver:8009/myapp_Project-web On Glassfish asadmin create-network-listener --listenerport 8009 --protocol http-listener-1 --jkenabled true jk-connector I have tried going in to Glassfish and setting the web app as the default web app. I have changed the / in glassfish-web.xml (and checked to make sure it was the same in the EAR file). How can I get Glassfish to not include the /myapp/ context in the URLs? This has to be easy if you know how, but I don't know how, can someone help out here? Thanks.

  I'm writing some code, and I need it to catch the arguments and pass them through fmt.Println (I want its default behaviour, to write arguments separated by spaces and followed by a newline). However it takes []interface {} but flag.Args() returns a []string. Here's the code example package main import ( "fmt" "flag" ) func main() { flag.Parse() fmt.Println(flag.Args()...) } This returns the following error: ./example.go:10: cannot use args (type []string) as type []interface {} in function argument Is this a bug? Shouldn't fmt.Println take any array? By the way, I've also tried to do this: var args = []interface{}(flag.Args()) but I get the following error: cannot convert flag.Args() (type []string) to type []interface {} Is there a "Go" way to workaround this?

  Summary: I created a bootable usb drive with a live Bridge linux (ARCH based) on it. Everything works fine. The live system mounts a device called /dev/mapper/arch_root-image as its ext4 root partition (/ mount point). The problem is that I dont know how to control the size of this partition. • System.Reflection and InvokeMember, storing type, assembly, and object in a class

  I have tested code to call a method inside of a compiled DLL, and it works. I created a class to store the object, type, and loaded assembly, but something is lost in translation because it is unable to find the member I wish to invoke. If I create a type, object, and assembly, and properly load everything into these and perform InvokeMember on the type, it works just fine. However, when I use the things inside of my class, it throws a MissingMemberException and does not invoke the member, obviously. What am I doing wrong? The member in question is a subroutine which takes one argument, a string. This is quite frustrating.
