  • string directly before with regular expressions?

    - by acidzombie24
I have been given a file that has its string like this blah blah DUMMY blah blah DUMMY blah blah VALUE blahX blahY KEY Some values/keys are optional, i cannot depend on order. With regular expressions using C# how do i write an regex that takes the value directly behind the key? I know i could write it in such a way it will match the first DUMMY but i cant think of how to make the VALUE instead.

  • How can I make jQuery select an element in the style of CSS?

    - by ben
<div id="id" class="div-style"><img id="1" class="img-style"></div> I would like to use the id attribute as a way for jQuery to select the element, and the class attribute for CSS to style it. My guess for jQuery selector ran thusly: $("#id .div-class") and $("#id .img-class") This returns the error "Selector expected"

  • Learning Regular Expressions

    - by Teifion
I already know the basics of RegEx but I'm not sure where to go from here, I'm looking for both a good and above all easy to understand guide but I am also looking for things to use RegEx's for, it's all well and good reading about it but if you never use them then they will not stick in your mind. I have already found regular-expressions.info but I'm sure there are more.

  • What's making my page extend slightly beyond the viewport? [CSS]

    - by Jack W-H
Basically I'm a tad confused. You'll see at http://furnace.howcode.com , in the second column, the bottom scrollbar button is extended slightly beyond the end of the viewport. I'm pretty confused as I've been examining the CSS and can't find anything that's causing this. Can you have a look? It's probably something simple that I've just missed! :) Screenshot:

  • Linq Queries converting to lambda expressions ?

    - by Freshblood
Hello from item in range where item % 2 ==0 select i ; is converting to lamda expressions as below range.where(item % 2 ==0).select(x=>x). I feel that first way of linq is translating next one and if it is ,so is there any optimization like this range.where(item & 2 == 0) instead of other one ?

  • Reverse regular expressions to generate data

    - by Anton Gogolev
In one of the StackOverflow Podcasts (the one where guys were discussing data generation for testing DBs -- either #11 or #12), Jeff mentioned something like "reverse regular expressions", which are used exactly for that purpose: given a regex, produce a string which will eventually match said regex. What is the correct term for this whole concept? Is this a well-known concept?

  • How much time do PHP/Python/Ruby *programmers* spend on CSS?

    - by gavin
Not sure about you guys, but I detest working in CSS. Not that it is a bad language/markup, don't get me wrong. I just hate spending hours figuring out how to get 5 pixels to show on every browser, and getting fonts to look like a PSD counterpart. So a question (or two) for programmers out there. How much time (%) do you spend on web markup? Do you tend to do this type of tweaking, or do your designers?

  • Is there a way to get all valid keywords for CSS property?

    - by NV
Round two. First was "How do I get all supported CSS properties in WebKit?". I'm looking for magic CSSkeywords function: CSSkeywords('float') --> ['left', 'right', 'none'] CSSkeywords('width') --> ['auto'] CSSkeywords('background') --> [ ["repeat", "repeat-x", "repeat-y", "no-repeat"], ["scroll", "fixed"], ["top", "center", "bottom", "left"], /*regexp for color*/, /*regexp for url*/, "none" ]

  • Zend - Deny access to CSS, JS, Image files

    - by Vincent
All, I have the following Zend application structure: helloworld - application - configs - controllers - models - layouts - include - library - public - design -- css -- site.css -- js -- global.js -- images -- siteheader.gif -- sitefooter.gif - .htaccess - index.php My .htaccess file in public folder looks like this: Options -MultiViews RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -s [OR] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -l [OR] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d RewriteRule ^.*$ - [NC,L] RewriteRule ^.*$ index.php [NC,L] My document root points to the "public" folder. Currently, if the user visits a directory level URL, (Ex: http://localhost/design or localhost/css) , my .htaccess file above make sure to show him the "Access Forbidden" page. But if he visits the file level URL, (Ex: http://localhost/design/css/site.css), it shows him the CSS file or the js file or PHP file.. How can I make sure to lock file level access for the above file types, if accessed directly from the URL? Since my application is JS intensive, I want to protect it from users looking at it. Thanks

  • how can i find unused css in ajax app?

    - by Haroldo
I've been searching and i can't find any ff addons or javascript for finding unused css in ajax apps. dust-me selectors can do a site-crawl, but i'm looking for something that examines loaded-in content... I'd like something where i can press 'record' and then make a load of clicks which will check off the used selectors, and hoping to find an existing one rather than try to write my own with jquery!

  • ANTLR expressions rewrite intermediate tree

    - by user313856
For expressions like 3+4 I would like to use the value 7 in an intermediate representation tree. I cannot work out how to get the returns value into a rewrite rule. expression returns [int v]: etc. How do I get expression.v into WR? At the moment I get (+ 3 4), I want (7) |^( WRITE c=expression) - ^(WRINT ^(INTC ^($c)) the next step is to emit 7 in an assembler.
