Are there sites/scripts like the above which can make the output visible to all ? Something like a "guest book" script/form that you can edit the fields and the output will show immediately ?   Do we know the algorithm that asp.net uses to create the authentication cookie (when using forms authentication?) Can we basically create our own copy implementation? if so, how? What does it use to generate the encrypted cookie value, I know it uses whatever you pass into the SetAuthCookie call (which is usually the userID/username).

  I've noticed that the Title or Body part is remembered if I come back to the Ask Question page by pressing Back button of my browser. This feature is available in all browsers I tested, but doesn't exist for the forms in my own projects. How can I approach that effect? UPDATE I still don't have any clue yet,but guess it that some kind of client cache enabled by http headers or javascript?

  I tested my Xamarin.Forms app on iOS and Android and found this difference when I change the orientation of the mobile device: On iOS, the app keeps the current page On Android, the app seems to restart using the default page (or probably pop all pages except the first one). Since I've never seen this behavior in another Android app, I'd like to disable it. Moreover, I don't think that this behavior is Android default. Which property do I need to set the make the Android target behave as the iOS target?

• How do I access the array submit() calls in the dom?

  I want to grab all the inputs inside a form, in order to submit them. The point of this is to use jquery's ajax to submit a dynamically sized form. Surely there must be an array inside the dom somewhere which i can just do something like... docment.forms['form'].elements which only lists inputs for that form, meaning I can loop through them and grab their values to play around with?

• Apps crashing with EXC_BAD_ACCESS when changing to a custom keyboard layout

  I have a custom layout installed (svdvorak_mac6.keylayout). After a reboot another keyboard layout was selected, so I selected my usual one instead. This lead to a lot of apps suddenly starting to crash (Chrome, Skype, Adium etc). I can change to any other built in layout for OS X, but as soon as I choose one custom installed one (either form ~/Library/Keyboard Layouts/ or from /Library/Keyboard Layouts/) the apps crash. The only thing I can remember that I did before the reboot was to install Google's video chat plugin for the browser. Currently this information is gathered by a lab attendant on paper. I would like for the user to be given a form in Windows at the beginning of his or her session on a computer in the lab. It should be impossible to use the computer without filling out and submitting this form. I am confident in my abilities as a web application developer and I would prefer to collect the data in some sort of browser-based form.   Is there a way to stop the gmail address field (on the login page) from displaying all the gmail addresses that you have ever typed in it? When logging in with Google Chrome or trying to set up a new account, anything you type which starts with the same letter as the one that you are trying to use currently will show up in the auto-complete field, I don't want that. I understand that this is a convenient feature in some cases, but the thing is--I know this shouldn't've happened, but it has actually happened more than once--I sometimes mistyped my password in the Gmail address field right after the address, mistakingly assuming that the prompt had already been moved to the password field, and then hit "Enter" without looking first. The next time I tried to enter my Gmail address, it popped up the address followed by my password as one of the entries on the list of email addresses that shows up, and I couldn't get rid of the entry. Is there a way to remove these?

I created a small form ( I'm trying to get current mailing addresses from my friends and relatives - since I lost my address book) and it ties to a Google Spreadsheet. I sent out a sample to my work address - filled out a form and saved it. However when I go to see the responses - in a spreadsheet - it has a time stamp but it has no email associated with a response - so I don't know who made it ( well in this case I know it's me - but when you have 100 replies?) I understand - it may be great for anonymous surveys - but in this case I'd like to know who responded with what - and I don't wan to make them fill out Email and First Name & Last Name - I already have this information.   How to make an "import image" button/field in a PDF form? I am designing a "Lost Pet" poster for a local animal shelter. The idea is to make a PDF file that users of the shelter's website can download, insert their pet's information, and then print it out if their pet goes missing. I will be designing the poster in InDesign CS3, and then exporting it to a PDF file. I will then add form fields for the user to fill out. I am ok with making text entry form fields. That is a simple matter. What's not so simple is figuring out a way to allow the user to insert a photo of their lost pet into the PDF, save the file, and then print it out with the photo in it. I am running Adobe Acrobat Professional 8. I am running it on a Mac. All of the searches I've done have told me that if I was running Acrobat in Windows, I'd have access to this other program called LiveCycle Designer which has pre-built form item libraries, including a Image Field. But I cannot find any similar option on the Mac version. Has anyone has any experience doing something like this? If so, I could certainly use some tips on making this work. Just a quick clarification... This is a volunteer design project that I am doing for the shelter, so I don't want to spend money on any extra software/addons at all. I am hoping this can be done somehow with the pre-existing software I have.

• rotate pdf by a certain degree in adobe acrobat

  I imported a .jpg image into adobe acrobat to convert it into PDF form with textboxes and stuff. the scanned .jpg is tilted and has to be rotated 5 deg. anti-clockwise. I know how to do this on image editor like paint.net. But I want to do this on PDF itself. is there anyway to rotate document/images in PDF by any other degree other than 90,180 or 270? thanks in advance

• How can one convert a Word form to a PDF form while preserving fields?

  I have a Word source document which I'm using to create a PDF form. The first go-round, everything is fine because I can let Acrobat Pro auto-create all the fields. That feature is actually pretty awesome. However, after spending a bunch of time adjusting field sizes and alignments and formats and so on, I want to edit the source document, and now I'm faced with the prospect of doing all that over again. Isn't there some way to add the fields in the source document using the Developer ribbon and have those fields be preserved in the conversion to PDF? If not, what other ways are there to avoid this kind of redundant effort?

• Multiple Selections from Dropdown in Word 2011 Form

  Anyone know if there is a way to setup a Word form to allow the user to select multiple items from a dropdown list that are then displayed? For example, I need to setup a form to identify applicability of specific procedures to various levels of our organization. Since the listing of all departments under all divisions can be pretty lengthy, I was hoping for the ability to check off a division and then have a dropdown list on the same line to select the applicable departments (so the selections are specific to that division and not all listed on the form if that division is not applicable). First, I'm not seeing how to create a dropdown that would allow multiple selections. Beyond that, I don't know if that form element alone would then display all selected items or if that would require another element of some type. Anyone have any suggestions on this?
