Code for adding Content Controls Word 2007 C#

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has any idea how I can add Content Controls to a Word Document (Office 2007) from the Document Task/Action Pane via C#. The goal is the following: I want to have categorized information in the Task/Action Pane and have the user fill out the info there. Once they have filled out that information they'll click on a button and it will insert content Controls into the Word Document that has that Data. The reason I want to use Content Controls is because the data will be bound to a database. Is this possible? I would like links that do this without WordProcessingML or OpenXML. There has to be a way to do this via server side code and such that doesn't require long blocks of ,, etc. Thanks!

ExtJS TabPanel content does not shrink in IE6

I'm using ExtJS 3.2 and have content inside of a tab panel, and the tab panel inside of a container in a Viewport. The actual TabPanel resizes correctly on the viewport size changes, but the content inside a panel in the TabPanel seems to be a fixed width and will not shrink when the window is resized.The strange thing is it grows if I increase the window size. How can I get the content inside a Tabpanel to shrink on window resizing. Sorry for this being confusing, my structure is this: Viewport (rendered to body, and sets defaults {monitorResize:true}) - Text Label - TabPanel - Tab - Container (Border Layout) - Panel 1 (Center) - Panel 2 (East) - Panel 3 (South) Thanks in advance!

Access a content control in C# when using Master Pages

Good day everyone, I am building a page in ASP.NET, and using Master Pages in the process. I have a Content Place Holder name "cphBody" in my Master Page, which will contain the body of each Page for which that Master Page is the Master Page. In the ASP.NET Web page, I have a Content tag (referencing "cphBody") which also contains some controls (buttons, Infragistics controls, etc.), and I want to access these controls in the CodeBehind file. However, I can't do that directly (this.myControl ...), since they are nested in the Content tag. I found a workaround with the FindControl method. ContentPlaceHolder contentPlaceHolder = (ContentPlaceHolder) Master.FindControl("cphBody"); ControlType myControl = (ControlType) contentPlaceHolder.FindControl("ControlName"); That works just fine. However, I am suspecting that it's not a very good design. Do you guys know a more elegant way to do so? Thank you! Guillaume Gervais.

Silverlight Scrollable Content Problem

I am fairy new to Silverlight and I have a problem. I have a grid on a page that is resizable when the user resizes their browser window. In one of the grids columns I want to display dynamically added content that is scrollable, as there is more data than space available. I currently have a scrollViewer with a stack panel inside it, that i programmatically add a user control to and then several user controls to that control depending on the amount of content. My problem is this. The scrollViewer does not respect the available space and as such displays its content outside of the viewable area when there is more data than space. i.e. it does not uses it is not scrollable nature. Hopefully this is something simple that I have missed, but i am banging my head against the wall at the moment. Any help gratefully received.

I cant even come up with a proper subject for this one... Basically I have a box div, that when click expands to a rectangle and shows content in the new expanded area. The problem I'm having is that when I animate out the div's width, the browser wants to render the content as the box is stretching, rather than just have it placed where I need it. Initial State ____ | | |____| Clicked _________________ | Content | |_________________| How it currently renders __________ | Con | |______tent| How I want it to render: __________ | Cont|ent (overflow:hidden) |__________| Someone help me out here... total brainfart.

How to resize WebView according to its content?

Hi all, I want to set simple html contents within a web view and then resize it according to its content. To set simple html contents within web view I used this code and it is working fine: [[myWebView mainFrame] loadHTMLString:webViewContents baseURL:baseURLFramed]; Right now, if content is more than its actual size then it appears in web view showing both vertical and horizontal scroller in it. I want to set some default width and manage height according to its content in a way so that neither horizontal nor vertical scroller appears. Can anyone suggest me some solution for it? margin between content and div overflow scrollbar

I am using the following bits of code to keep my menu items fixed while allowing for the scrolling of content because it seems to be the most stable method across all browsers. body { overflow: hidden; } div.content { height: 100%; overflow: auto; } My problem is simple, and yet I can not seem to figure it out, the content inside the tag butts up against the scrollbar for the div area and it makes reading much more difficult. How can I get a margin between them (apart from floating a transparent image to the right to create space, there HAS to be a better way)?

How can I determine the compile options used to compile an IBM Enterprise COBOL program by looking at the load module? When a dump is issued they are listed as follows: Compile Options for PROGXX: ADV, ARITH(COMPAT), AWO, NOCICS, CODEPAGE(01140), DATA(31), NODATEPROC, NODBCS, NODLL, NODYNAM, NOEXPORTALL, NOFASTSRT, INTDATE(LILIAN), NUMPROC(NOPFD), NOOPTIMIZE, OUTDD(SYSOUT), PGMNAME(COMPAT), RENT, RMODE(AN NOSQL, SQLCCSID, SSRANGE, NOTEST, NOTHREAD, TRUNC(OPT), XMLPARSE(XMLSS), YEARWINDOW(1900), ZWB so I presume they must be tucked away somewhere in the load module. How to organize Enterprise scale Composite Applications (CAG)

All QuickStarts and RI examples in the CAG documentation are good but I lack the more Enterprise scale examples. Let's say we have 40+ modules, each containing a Proxy,Facade,PresentationModel,Model and Views. Each module also makes calls to a Module-specific WCF service which is to be hosted in IIS or in a stand-alone console host. Our approach have been to include the UI-module, service-module and related tests into one solution so they can be developed and tested separately from other modules. My problem is how the hosting of the services should be done when the services are in separate modules and how to actually run the separate module together with the rest of the application-modules when I press F5. Is there a best practise for this? I guess it has been done before?

Good book suggestions for building enterprise software

Enterprise software are built using technologies/softwares/terminologies/APIs such as EJB, JBoss, Seam, Hibernate(JPA), Maven, Eclipse, Spring, JTS, JMS, JNDI etc. I know there are great books out there for each of these individually, however can someone suggest a book or two that covers all (or most of) these topics in lesser detail and gives examples of how these are integrated? I have intentionally left the client side stuff out because its highly unlikely a single book would cover that much. If anyone knows of a book (or books) that cover most of or various combinations (like EJB, Hibernate, Spring and Seam) of these technologies, please do suggest the same. The idea is not to become an expert in all however know about them in reasonable detail and why each one is required.

Drupal - editing tab options for a content type not showing up

I'm working on a D5 site and a lot of the content types have the menus at the top of the edit page. Examples: Overview | Grants | Dev load | Dev render | Edit | Revisions | Track | Workflow Overview | Dev load | Dev render | Edit | Revisions | Track | Workflow | Node queue | RelatedContent I'm not sure where these tabs come from, but I need to enable the menu for a content type that doesn't have them visible. I checked the workflow setting and the content type in question was specified to use workflow. So there should be at least another tab in addition to edit. The end goal is to have revisions show up in the menu, but I need to get the menu showing first. Any ideas where to start looking?

Wrapper not resizing to full content size

Hey guys, I have a div called #background. I have most of my content in it and I want it to resize when I add more content. As far as I know the way to do this is to assign it no height? I have done this in my layout.css file. As far as I can see, my #background doesnt close until after the last bit of content which is what I want, but it's not working. It seems to be just stopping after my #special offers div, I#m not sure why this is? Colm

Page content bleeding past footer, dynamic resize?

Hey all im learning as i go with editing CSS and PHP and ive manage to put together a layout, looks fine on the main page, but I noticed the content is not stretching properly height wise when i goto click on the 3D gallery. Here is the a link to the page that has the issue: http://www.idreamfx.com/wp/?page_id=36&album=1&gallery=2 as you can see its bleeding past the footer, and the content section is not resizing properly. What steps do i take to allow it to be dynamically resized with the content in it? Doing some searching i came across the code: but i'm not sure if how or rather, where to apply such a code or what it really does?

I'm using the correct content type & Headers so Why is FireFox saving Zip Files without extensions

Users on my site have the option to download all the photos in an album as a zip file.The Zip file is dynamically created and saved to Response.OutPutStream to be detected as a file download on the user's browser. Here is the Header and Content-type I am outputing context.Response.AddHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=Photos.zip"); context.Response.ContentType = "application/x-zip-compressed"; ..Well everything works fine with every browser except FireFox. Although Firefox correctly detects the download as a Zip file, It saves the file without the .zip extension. I thought adding this header context.Response.AddHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=Photos.zip"); ..is supposed to force FF to save the extension. I believe I am following the correct protocol so why is FF behaving this way and how do I fix this?

The skyscraper is on the right of the page content. What should i look into?

For ex. if the Content generated is : "A Quick Brown Fox" Then I need they string "Brown" to be in color Brown and "Fox" to be in color Red The Keyword-Color list is fixed and available to me at runtime. I have looked at the Advanced TextFormatting page on MSDN, but it is too complicated for me, also the sample in there does not compile :( I am looking at creating a custom control which can do this for me. Css div with header and footer and dynamic content height

I want to construct a div that has a header with background like that some content with a background of one pixel repeated at y(or not?) and a footer with background like that resulting in something like that with some text in the div content I want to have the same result with 5 lines or 50 lines of text. In my mind there is an html snippet like <div id="header"></div> <div id="content">Text goes here</div> <div id="footer"></div> but i can't think of the css or jquery code or anything that goes with that. main content wrapper div get's pushed down the page in IE

I have a 2 column layout, with the left side for navigation and the right side for the main content. The right side content has a wrapper div that looks like: Now this looks fine in FF and GC, and it IE but if I change the padding to anything over 4px that section gets pushed down below the left navigation. #content { padding:3px; // 4 makes it get pushed down } Does this mean IE has a different way of calculating the width of all my elements? Is this a common problem that has a solution for it?

Rails application and multilingual content, Model dilemma

I'm writing in Rails a website that will be multilingual, for the application translation part i will use the simple I18n gem, for messages and everything related. Yet, all the content must be translated, and we're talking about lots of pages, that will be stored into the database ( like articles, news, etc. ) For now, I'm thinking of two approaches: Lets say i have a Pages table, the content in diff. languages, i will be storing it in a different table called PagesContent that will belong_to Pages and also to a Languages table. The problem here, is that I'll essentially duplicate the no. of tables needed. Pros: flexibility, in the box validation To skip that duplication i can serialize a hash into the content column of Pages, containing the translation. The problem here, is validation, arguably more code to write, and less flexibility when adding a new language. Pros: Less tables. Any other idea ?

The import of standard product is successful but not for the product with customs options. For customs option, missing "info_buyRequest" valu in database. The technical support of magento we responded "the import process currently can't handle importing products with custom options". Magento use custom options when ordering a product with customs options on website. What features do magento use to fill in the fields "info_buyRequest" and "Product_options" when ordering? I am trying to introduce RoR to my company and I have two ways of doing so in my mind: (1) rails/ibm_db2/passenger/DB2 - which is my preferable way but it is not really supported by company's infrastructure. (2) jruby/activerecord-jdbc/tomcat/DB2 - probably easier way to migrate relying on current infrastructure and java libs IF I have a proof this is an enterprise ready technology. Does anyone know if there is any prof that jruby/aciverecord-jdbc-adapter/DB2/tomcat is mature enough for production? Are there any problems I should know about during Development/Deployment/Runtime? My webapp is for a company intranet, around 200~400 active users.

Fetching content from Website on another Server

Hi everyone. What i basically want to do is to get content from a website and load it into a div of another website. This should be no problem so far. The problem is, that the content that should be fetched is located on a different server and i have no source access to it. I'd prefer a solution using JavaScript of jQuery. Can i use a .htacces redirect to fetch the content from a remote server with client-side (js) techniques? I will also go with other solutions though. Thanks a lot in advance!
