  • Onpaint events (invalidated) changing execution order after a period normal operation (runtime)

    I have 3 data graphs that are painted via the their paint events. When I have data that I need to insert into the graph I call the controls invalidate() command. The first control's paint event actually creates a bitmap buffer for the other 2 graphs to avoid repeating a long loop. So the invalidate commands are in a specific order (1,2,3). This works well, however when the graphed data reaches the end of the graph window (PictureBox) where the data would normally start scrolling, the paint events begin firing in the wrong order (2,3,1). has anyone came across this before? why might this be happening?

    Hi What was that "wpf trigger events after a few Milli-seconds" ;) Let me explain about that: I have a wpf form with few controls. some of these control over-writing template. for example a textblock with an effect will be trigger on Mouse-Enter event and change color of foreground to something else. But after running program when mouse enter on textBloc, it takes a few Milli-seconds until Mouse-enter event triggers. also all control or better say all control which use mouse-events have this problem. How solve this problem???

  • Dragged external events from div overflow do not appear using FullCalender and FCDraggable

    I am using the FCDraggable version of FullCalendar and everything is working well. However, I would like my external events to be contained in a div with an overflow (ex. JQuery UI Accordian) and dragged onto the calendar. When overflow is on, the external event gets hidden behind the calendar and does not appear until dropped onto the calendar. Without overflow, the external events show fine during the dragging process onto the calendar. Has anyone else encountered this scenario? I know FCDraggable isn't part of the official release branch of FullCalendar but it works so well except for this one issue.

My dilemma is basically; I need to detect an empty link in order so I can feed a robots no index meta tag in the case of: page.php?permalink=events page.php?permalink=events/ page.php?permalink=ru/events/ page.php?permalink=ru/events I can't use a simple pattern such as [a-zA-Z]+\/?(.+)/ since it won't work on the i18n permalinks. What regex could I use which would detect this, using $_GET['permalink'] as the reference to the permalinks? And avoid false positives? Update: Empty link means there's no fragment after the "events/" part. These are empty: page.php?permalink=events page.php?permalink=events/ page.php?permalink=ru/events/ page.php?permalink=ru/events

  • iTunes Apple Events API

    I'd like to control iTunes through Objective-C ( I just can't get Python appscript installed correctly on my OS/X 10.6.3 system ... that would have been my first choice ). From what I gather, the IPC on Cocoa is based on Apple Events : is there either: Online documentation on iTunes / Apple Events API ? Instrospection mechanism to get to iTunes API? I know about Applescript Editor / Open Dictionary functionality but I can't figure out how to translate the information I see into IPC calls. Note: I have already tried working out a solution through PyObjC but the main function I am after is track searching which I can't figure out. Disclaimer: OS/X super-newbie here.

    Is there's a bounding box on an application that receives touch events? I created a few sample round rect buttons and placed them in different places in my view. The ones in the center of the view receive touch events (and show the highlighted blue color) but if I place a button near the edges of the view, only parts of them are clickable in the simulator. Is this because of Apples style guidelines? I placed a button exactly where a UITabNavigationItem would appear and only the bottom half of it is clickable.

    Edit After further testing, it appears that the part of my button that are not clickable are where the status bar used to be. I'm hiding the status bar with : // -- Override point for customization after app launch [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarHidden:YES]; But it's still receiving touches.   • Can't Connect w/ SQL Management Studio After Domain Change

    Our old Small Business Server 2003 (acting as our domain controller) was on the fritz, so we replaced it with a new Windows Server 2008 box and set the server up as our new domain controller. In hindsight, it may have been a mistake, but we set up the new server as a replacement and tried to keep as much the same as possible, including the DOMAIN name. The problem was, that even though the domain name was the same, the guest computers somehow still realized it was not the exact same domain. We had to unjoin and rejoin the domain and port over everyone's documents and settings. This morning, when I attempted to connect to my local SQL Server Instance, it was saying that my login failed. When I tried to use the SQL Management Studio, it throws the error "Package 'Microsoft SQL Management Studio Package' failed to load" on startup, then exits without giving me a chance to change the login. I am using Mixed Authentication and have an administrative account as a backup. Ideas? If there is a more appropriate stack, please let me know where to put it.

  • fullCalendar not rendering new events dynamically

    I have the following code in a page on which I am using fullCalendar. I am able to add events in my page, however the calendar does not display this dynamically. I have to move to another month (and then back to the current month), before the dates I added are displayed. Is there a way to dynamically refresh/render the calendar as dates are programatically added to it?   • Telerik RadAjaxManager and Mouse Events in Chrome

    Whenever I'm using Telerik's RadAjaxManager in Chrome, the events sent to any mouse events I'm using are passed as null. For instance, the following: <img id="Image1" src="image.gif" onclick="alert(event)" /> <rad:RadAjaxManager ID="RadAjaxManager1" runat="server"> <AjaxSettings> </AjaxSettings> </rad:RadAjaxManager> Alerts null when clicking the image. This does not happen in IE or FF. The version of the RadAjaxManager is 1.8.5.0. I'm guessing the problem does not occur in later versions, but an upgrade is not an option at the moment. I tried Telerik's support forum, but they didn't really provide any answer. What could cause such a problem? And how can it be dealt with?

According to the documentation: When an object’s remote proxy is deallocated, a message is sent back to the receiver to notify it that the local object is no longer shared over the connection. I would therefore expect that as each DOTarget goes out of scope (each time around the loop) it's remote counterpart would be dellocated, since there is no other reference to it being held on the remote side of the connection. In reality this does not happen: the temporary objects are only deallocate when the client application quits, or more accurately, when the connection is invalidated. I can force the temporary objects on the remote side to be deallocated by explicitly invalidating the NSConnection object I'm using each time around the loop and creating a new one but somehow this just feels wrong. Is this the correct behaviour from DO? Should all temporary objects live as long as the connection that created them? Are connections therefore to be treated as temporary objects which should be opened and closed with each series of requests against the server? Any insights would be appreciated.

  • How do I process a jQuery SVG group event in a single handler?

    I'm trying to draw a button using jQuery SVG, the button is a filled rect and the text is placed on top of the rect. Rect and text are grouped and I want to control the mouseover/mouseout events. The problem is: mouseover/mouseout events are triggered separately for every element of the group. Is it possible to make a single event handler for entire group? Here is an example: gClear = svg.group(); btClear = svg.rect(gClear, 10, 10, 100, h-20, 5 ,5, attrs); txtClear = svg.text(gClear, 35, 30, "Clear", {fontFamily: "Verdana", fontWeight: "bold", fontSize: "16px"}); $(gClear, svg.root()).bind("mouseover", function() { $(btClear).animate({svgFill: '#adf'}, 100); }).bind("mouseout", function() { $(btClear).animate({svgFill: '#fff'}, 100); }) When I move the mouse inside the rect the events mouseover/mouseout are triggered.   • PowerPoint.Application not raising events in C#

    I have a simple application written in C# and .Net 2.0 that displays several PowerPoint 2003 files in a loop. (It is going to be used for a information board in our cafeteria) The application works fine on my development machine but when I deploy it to another machine the events I have registered for SlideShowNextSlide and PresentationClose are never fired.     This question is about a computer software (as per SU guidelines) application for centrally tracking issues concerning the management of a residental block of flats (apartments as they say in the US and France). Issues are incidents - and their resultant unplanned maintenance to address them, also planned one-off maintenance and also regular planned routine maintenance. I live in a block of flats (apartments), and along with other residents, are looking to more closely watch over issues with the communal, shared areas of the premises (corridors, courtyards, stairs, lifts, lights, trash/bin shed, bike stands, parking areas etc) and their maintenance, currently done by a property management company. Our own homes are our own affair internally, its the outside communal areas that I have the interest. The aim being to control costs and possibly reduce them, by proactively managing the property using historical data to predict issues and also to scrutinise maintenance charges against such data to ensure that the costs are as expected. Trending could also be established whereby recurrences of things can be detected and pre-empted to reduce costs. As a software professional, I'm aware of Bugzilla, eventum being free tools for software - which could be customised to fit this application, but wondered if there was something more appropriate. It might be useful for such software to be on a web server, with secure access, so that residents can log in and view the issues.

The problem is, when the dispatcher tries to call this handler, it loses it's original context. How can I bind the handler with the context of the object that calls the attach function without passing this as an argument and using that?

  • RabbitMQ Management console not working

    I have started with RabbitMQ. I have a (windows) machine on which I installed two RabbitMQ nodes as a service - I have choose the nodename, port and service name for each of them. The services are running normally (i see that they are listening in a netstat-a). I have also installed management plugin with "rabbitmq-plugins enable rabbitmq_management" and restarted both services. But the plugin isn't running - I dont see it listening in a netstat and I can't connect to the management console via browser. Any idea what could be wrong? Is there any log to see what is goind on?   • Get a list of events owned by a facebook page

    Does anyone know how I can get a list of events owned (created) by a Facebook page? I seem to be able to use the "graph api" to generate a list of the events an entity is attending. I also looked at FQL, but it seems to require that the 'where' clause is an indexable field (and, naturally, the id is the only indexable field). For bonus points, we'd be able to do this without any authentication. (Though I'm resigned to the fact that I'm likely going to need at least a permanent access_token.) If anyone know how to do this I'd be eternally grateful.
