  Why does the property SessionID on the Session-object in an ASP.NET-page change between requests? I have a page like this: ... <div> SessionID: <%= SessionID %> </div> ... And the output keeps changing every time I hit F5, independent of browser. I've seen this work correctly in other projects.

• How to activate revision info in line number view

  I know of an Eclipse feature to show revision information (gradual coloring, more info like revisionnumber, date and author on mouseover) for the last changes in a line in the linenumbers-view. Does anyone know how to activate this feature for a file, or even better, by default? I accidently hit some shortcut lately which made it show in one file, it does not show up in the others, though.

  As anybody who uses VBA in Office 2003 will know, it has the extremely frustrating tendency to do a syntax check every time you click off a line. For example, if I start writing a line of code, I might go > For Each application In And then think "crap, what's the application collection called?" So I'll hit "page up" to find it, and get (in this case) a "Compile Error". Can I turn this off?

  I have a client who is wanting to create a link which contains product codes so that his customers hit a page with just those products displayed in an attempt to increase conversion rates from affilliate sites. My question is whats the best way to send these multiple products in a single URL For example: http://www.mydomain.co.uk/bespoke-list.php?catNo=234-324-232-343 Obviously then the site would grab the codes from the string and display them... It has a nightmare of dependencies on Xerces and Xalan, both of which seem to be choking under the new VisualStudio 2010 C++ compiler. I've wasted hours trying to build this thing which is a shame. • Eclipse behaves strangely on Ubuntu 9.10. My buttons won't work after the upgrade!

  Everything was fine until I did an upgrade from Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10. Since then, Eclipse just doesn't respond properly. The following are the symptoms I can see: When I click on update, it grabs the available updates but doesn't show them. Any internal window that is displayed has corrupted buttons I cannot click on any of the buttons. I have to keep pressing Tab to highlight that specific button and then hit spacebar. Anyone knows how to solve this?

This is used to login to and communicate to a webapp. Once logged in, there's a situation in which the program issues an execute process to open up firefox to hit the webapp and allow the user to see data in the browser.
