    I made the EditText clickable but you have to "double-click" to bring the dialog box up, which isn't really desired behaviour. How can I bring the dialog box up when the EditText is clicked / gains focus?     In C++, I've written a mathematical program (for diffusion limited aggregation) where each new point calculated is dependent on all of the preceding points.     I'd like to measure to distinct user experience points during the rendering of an HTML page: 1) Point which user sees the first painting of the page 2) Point at which user can interact with the page - meaning sees 75% of it or can actually register a button click or link click I am pretty certain these UX interactions can start before the HTML code is fully rendered, so would that instance be the JS func "OnLoad" or some other distinct measureable value/function? If it helps, we can even narrow the answer down to webkit based browsers.

  • How can the crosshair of ginput be restricted to one plot?

    I wrote a small MATLAB program with a gui. Inside the gui I have, among other things, a plot in which the user should be able to select two points. For this I use the function ginput, which creates a crosshair for selection. Unfortunatley the crosshair extends the whole window and is not restricted to the plot, which doesn't look nice and is confusing for the user. How can the crosshair be restricted only to the area of the plot?

    Hi, when running a Java application as service with the user 'LocalService', the temp directory ("java.io.tmpdir") points to 'c:/windows/temp' (for example). Running a Java application normally gives 'c:/documents and settings/user/local settings/temp' instead.     I've used ( and still use ) mercurial and git. I have some repos hosted in a server with gitosis which is great and easy to setup. I am looking for a similar tool for hosting mercurial repos. It must provide minimal acl and ssh access and allow for remote config ( in the style of gitosis's "clone the admin repo and push changes" ). Extra points for automating hgweb config via said tool.

  • Can Visual Studio manage function prototypes for me in C++ header files?

    In C++, the common practice is to declare functions in header files and define them in cpp files. This leads to always having two copies of every function's prototype. Then whenever I want to change a function's name/return value/parameter, I have to manually change it in both files. This seems unnecessarily tedious and there must be lots of people that share my pain, so is there a way to automate these changes between files in VS? Bonus points for vim solutions as well.
