  • Java library for trees similar to JGraphT for graphs?

    I'm a big fan of JGraphT, a Java library for graphs. Could anyone recommend a similar Java library for trees? Preferrably FOSS. What I need is a good API, preferrably typesafe with generics which allows modelling different kinds of trees (with some user data attached to verticies/edges) and run different algorithms and operations on these trees. For instance, traverse or balance. At the moment I'm not interested in visualization of trees.

In the code I have plenty of static variables of type java.lang.String that are hand written SQL queries. I would be looking for library having a nice fluent API that allows me to represent the queries as objects rather than strings.     Is there a CSS library which mimics the iPhone grouped UITableView? I want to build a nice looking table which looks exactly like the grouped UITableView. As there are multiple text styles within the each line of text, and I don't need any interactivity except scrolling, it seems it would be easier to build with HTML and display it in a UIWebView. Is there a css library which matches this need?

Also, as soon as i remove google-play-services_lib, i get my R.java file back. minimum sdk version is 11.   • Windows XP SP3 - Library not registered error... IE8 not installing.

    Specs to put things in context: AMD Athlon XP 2400+ @ 1987 MHz / 2 x 512MB PC3200 DDR RAM / WD 160GB IDE HDD / 3DFuzion 128MB GeForce 6200 AGP 4x / FIC AM37 / Windows XP SP3 Just recently, I was unable to start Windows Media Player. I clicked it and the busy cursor came up, but then nothing happened. Also, I tried doing a search for a file, and same thing. It would show busy cursor then suddenly stop doing anything. I couldn't find it in the Processes of the Task Manager. (Perhaps I don't know what I'm looking for?) Also, I was trying to update my DirectX, which has been running something older than DX9 9.0c for a while now, except the installation fails due to "internal error". I think the failed DirectX installation has been like that for a while... (I remember trying to install DX9 9.0c a while back, but still failed.) The Windows programs not starting, I don't think I've ever had before... what could be the cause of these problems?! Thanks in advance. =) EDIT1: Weird thing now is that when I try to open User Accounts, I get a message saying "Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment." Also, when I'm trying to open services.msc, I'm getting a script error that says that "Library not registered." (Code: 0, URL: res://C:\WINDOWS\System32\mmcndmgr.dll/views.htm) Perhaps this is related to my other question, where I seemed to have an unregistered library of some sort. EDIT2: The DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer freakishly worked and updated successfully. Now, I have focussed the question on the bigger problem. For WMP11, H&S, and Search, I click it once, get a busy icon for a second, and then nothing happens. Refer to EDIT1 for other problems. EDIT3: Seems that my problems may be related to some Internet Explorer Script Errors. So what I did was download the IE8 installer from the Microsoft website, but when I run it and get to the main portion of the installer, it just keeps looping on the Downloading step of the installation. The installer is still running, but I left it for at least 4 hours and the downloading step was still not finished. What is the problem? Also, I uninstalled Ubuntu 9.10 after these problems, but they still remain. EDIT4: I'm getting an active desktop recovery background on startup now. And within seconds my computer hangs again. EDIT3 explains main issue though.

  • More efficient way to find media item in WMP media library?

    Hello, all. I am messing around with the WMPLib component provided by Windows Media Player 12 (wmp.dll) in VB.NET with .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. I am trying to retrieve a media item from my media library based on its name (assuming there are no duplicate names). At the moment, I'm grabbing the entire media library, and looping through every media item, and quitting the loop when I've found the correct media item. This works well (except for when a media item with that name cannot be found), but I was hoping there was a more efficient way of doing this.     At my company we have a few different web apps that each share some common libraries. The Visual Studio setup looks like this. Website 1 Solution Website 1 Shared Library 1 Project Shared Library 2 Project Website 2 Solution Website 2 Shared Library 1 Project Shared Library 2 Project Windows Service Solution Windows Service Project Shared Library 1 Project Shared Library 2 Project Shared Library Solution Shared Library 1 Project Shared Library 2 Project All Projects Solution Website 1 Website 2 Windows Service Project Shared Library 1 Project Shared Library 2 Project We want to start using Mercurial for source control, but I'm still not sure the best way to do it. From what I've read you're supposed to use a separate repository for each project. No problem there, but where do the Visual Studio solution files (.sln) go? Should there be a separate repository with just an .sln file? Ideally the projects that use the shared libraries should all use the same version, and the solution "All Projects Solution" should build without errors, but sometimes we need to branch the shared libraries. What is the best way to do this, and how would the repositories be setup? How do I get a working copy of a certain branch/tag of the Website 1 solution when every project is in a separate repository. Do I have to pull each one separately, or write a script to do it all at once? Can tortoise hg do that for me? Any other tips to make this process easier?

  • How can I force Xbox Music to find music in all subfolders of my Music library?

    My music library is organized (roughly) like this: Music mp3 (original) Artist/Album/Song mp3 (from Tom) Artist/Album/Song mp3 (from Dick) Artist/Album/Song mp3 (from Harry) Artist/Album/Song ... etc. When I use the desktop Zune Software, it finds all of this music. However, the Xbox Music metro app only seems to find music in the "mp3 (original)" folder. How can I force it to find all of my music?

  • Qt4Dotnet on Mac OS X

    Hello everyone. I'm using Qt4Dotnet project in order to port application originally written in C# on Linux and Mac. Port to Linux hasn't taken much efforts and works fine. But Mac (10.4 Tiger) is a bit more stubborn. The problem is: when I try to start my application it throws an exception. Exception states that com.trolltech.qt.QtJambi_LibraryInitializer is unable to find all necessary ibraries. QtJambi library initializer uses java.library.path VM environment variable. This variable includes current working directory. I put all necessary libraries in a working directory. When I try to run the application from MonoDevelop IDE, initializer is able to load one library, but the other libraries are 'missing': An exception was thrown by the type initializer for com.trolltech.qt.QtJambi_LibraryInitializer --- java.lang.RuntimeException: Loading library failed, progress so far: No 'qtjambi-deployment.xml' found in classpath, loading libraries via 'java.library.path' Loading library: 'libQtCore.4.dylib'... - using 'java.library.path' - ok, path was: /Users/chin/test/bin/Debug/libQtCore.4.dylib Loading library: 'libqtjambi.jnilib'... - using 'java.library.path' Both libQtCore.4.dylib and libqtjambi.jnilib are in the same directory. When I try to run it from the command prompt, the initializer is unable to load even libQtCore.4.dylib. I'm using Qt4Dotnet v4.5.0 (currently the latest) with QtJambi v4.5.2 libraries. This might be the source of the problem, but I'm neither able to compile Qt4Dotnet v4.5.2 by myself nor to find QtJambi v4.5.0 libraries. Project's page states that some sort of patch should be applied to QtJambi's source code in order to be compatible with Mono framework, but this patch hasn't been released yet. Without this patch application crashes in a strange manner (other than library seek fault). I must note that original QtJambi loads all necessary libraries perfectly, so it might be issues of IKVM compiler used to translate QtJambi into .Net library. Any suggestions how can I overcome this problem?

  • Does a PHP library exist to work with PRC/.mobi files?

    I'm writing a WordPress plugin to create an eBook from a selected category in most major eBook formats. I would like to support MobiPocket since that's the format used by the Kindle but I'm not sure how to go about it. From what I've read .mobi files are actually Palm Resource Databases (PRC) but I haven't been able to find a PHP class to work with these. I thought about using exec along with KindleGen but that would be undesirable as it would complicate initial setup. I've also thought about hosting a web service somewhere and using XML-RPC to accomplish this but that also complicates things. My question is: is there a PHP class/library (PHP-only preferred) that can work with PRC or even better, a class that specialises in creating MobiPocket ebooks? (needs to be open source since I'm releasing under the GPL) I've tried searching but haven't been able to find anything.

  • How can I back up my iPhoto library to DVDs?

    I'm using iPhoto '09 and have an 80GB library. I want to back everything up to DVDs, because I figure that's the cheapest / most reliable solution. (I plan to have a couple of copies and keep them in different places.) Ideally, after the initial backup, every couple of months, I'd back up everything that's changed (new photos, edits, metadata) to single DVD and add it to the set. How would you go about doing that?
