    - by Wilq32
This is a question to put as many interesting and useful JavaScript functions written in one line as we can. Put variations of each code inside comments.

  • CVS to Mercurial conversion: end of line problem

    - by mizipzor
I recently converted a CVS repository to Mercurial. From the looks of it, everything went perfect. Except that every end-of-line character is in Unix style and I want them in Windows style. I know the hg convert command can be used to "convert" a Mercurial repository to a Mercurial repository. Can I use it to do nothing on the repos but fix the line endings?

  • In-line assembly

    - by aCuria
For the below code, if i want to convert the for loop to in-line assembly, how would it be done? (Pardon the weird code, i just made it up.) 1) This is for the x86, using visual studio 2) This is a "how to use in line assembly" question, not a "how to optimize this code" question 3) Any other example will be fine. I will think of some better example code in abit.

  • Change windows hostname from command line

    - by Joe
This question is related to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/54989/change-windows-hostname-from-command-line, but I'm in a different situation. The netdom tool will not work on a computer not joined to a domain. I've tried setting the hostname from the registry, but I was wondering if there was another way from the command-line.

  • Flex: Change line height of Label component

    - by ChrisInCambo
Hi guys, Maybe I'm googling for the wrong thing but I can't find anything on this. How can I change the line height of a Label element in Flex? I have two labels in a VBox and there is quite a lot of white space between them which I would like to reduce. There's no line height property and setting the height property causes overlap. Thanks in advance for any help! Cheers, Chris

  • Determining line orientation using vertex shaders

    - by Brett
Hi, I want to be able to calculate the direction of a line to eye coordinates and store this value for every pixel on the line using a vertex and fragment shader. My idea was to calculate the direction gradient using atan2(Gy/Gx) after a modelview tranformation for each pair of vertices then quantize this value as a color intensity to pass to a fragment shader. How can I get access to the positions of pairs of vertices to achieve this or is there another method I should use? Thanks

    - by binary_runner
I'm using logback 0.9.21 . Unfortunately it prints all messages to single line, there is no end of line character, even wrong one. I've got the pattern set right AFAIK: <pattern>%d{HH:mm:ss.SSS} %-5level %class (%thread) [%logger{36}] -- %msg%n</pattern> What's the catch?

I'd like to add characters to the end of every line of text in a .txt document. #Define Variables $a = c:\foobar.txt $b = get-content $a #Define Functions function append-text { foreach-Object { add "*" } } #Process Code $b | append-text Something like that. Essentially, load a given text file, add a "*" the the end of every single line of text in that text file, save and close.
